This table serves to list and describe the fonts used in the Homestar Runner body of work and display an in-context sample of each. It does not document every use of each font; for a list of all fonts used in each Flash file, see Fonts By Toon.

Used for the text on Pom Pom's bicycles ("X-HEAD" in bike thief, "BIG CHEESE" in from work).

Used for a variety of purposes. Notably, it was used for the text "Drops Next Sursdai!" in the Peacey P Easter egg of Teen Girl Squad Issue 13.

Used for a variety of purposes. Most notably used for the "4 wheels" label on the Wagon Fulla Pancakes and the labeling on SeeDees.
"Liftin' weights and feelin' all right."
Algerian Used for The Homestar Runner's "speech" on Main Page 10. Old Timey Fun Timey!
Alpha Beta BRK Used for the text "squished bad" in Strongest Man in the World. Ohh.... These grapes are succulently crushing my windpipe....
Andy Used for the sb_snailmail.exe label on Strong Bad's mailbox. Also notably used for most of the text in the FAQ and for Bubs's handwriting. "I got a snailmail in my pocket... and I think it's starting to melt."
ArcadeClassic Rarely used since The Brothers Chaps seem to favor the more complete Joystix font. Used in Sundae Drivin' as seen in redesign. "Watch out for the wet walnuts!"
Architect Used in Marzipan's "Plan for Strong Bad" in looking old. "Oh, this'll work great, Marzipan. If I was a BACK YARD!!!"

Used extensively throughout the site. Its use with the most visibility is on the NavBar.

Used on the green screen preceding the movie Pony Fights 2 in Commandos in the Classroom. Also notably used for the Strong Mad Rd. sign.

Used extensively throughout the site. Most notably, it is used on the BMW Lighter and for the word "STOP" on the Stop Sign. Since 2017, the font has always been rendered in italics in YouTube versions of toons.

Atomic Clock Radio Used on the Club Technochocolate flyer in nightlife, on the album art for Hooked on Decemberween, and on the names of the character variations in Xeriouxly Forxe. "Club Technochocolate is about as kinda hip as it gets!"
Aurora BdCn BT Used for the text "Hot Fries" and "99¢" on the bag Coach Z is holding in your friends. "Hey, thanks for the chippies, Strong Bad!"

BadaBoom BB Used for certain portions of Strong Badman comics. It's Damp Towel Man!!
Balloon Bd BT Used for the Colden Ones label in Where My Hat Is At? (toon). "There my hat is at! Right between the milk and the Colden Ones."
Baskerville Old Face Used for the text "Important Legal Documents" in the Litigation Jackson Easter egg of rampage. Legal Rampage
Batang Used for the words "Chocolate Breakfast Candy Bar" on the box of Chocolate Breakfast Candy Bar Pops! cereal. Part of this new, tritious breakfast

Bernard MT Condensed Used infrequently. Has been used for office door labels, like Strong Bad's name on the door at the beginning of The Interview. Total Journalist
Betty Noir Used rarely. It is used for the intro, title, and ending screen of DNA Evidence. "And that's why I believe the DNA evidence had been tampered with."
Bickham Script font family

Used during the "R&B Break" in Rap Song.

Used for the text "from:" on the "from: Grandma" tag on the scarf in shapeshifter.

Bickley Script Used rarely. Was used for the words "The Great" on the postcard for The Great Mound in vacation. "I got two words for ya: false advertising."
Biondi Used for the word "DRY" on the Cold Ones Dry bottle cap in buried, though it was modified to appear worn. "I'm not touchin' that thing! It's booby-trapped!"
billieBarred Used for the words "Loading" and "Back" in Pistols for Pandas. LOADING
blacc_.ttf Used for a variety of purposes. Notably used for the entire new version of the The King of Town DVD. "My sheep are missing! My sheep are missing!"
Blackadder ITC Used for a variety of purposes. Notably used on old-looking documents, like the maps in Sick Day and yes, wrestling as well as the United States Constitution in dreamail and the potion recipe in Halloween Potion-ma-jig. He's the il Cartographer!
Blackletter686 BT Used rarely. Notably used for the words "Over There" on one of Strong Bad's post cards in vacation. Where everything is tan and brown.
Blackoak Std Used for the words "King of Town" on the bag of charcoal in pizza joint. "Doo doo doot doot doo..."
Blippo Modified (pixelized) in its use for the text "Video Evidence of Homestar & Marzipan's 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 10th Anniversary Celebration!!!" in videography. "Add panache, pizzazz, and pep with a Seedy Rom worth of unanimated clip art and copyright-free classical music."
Bloody Used for a variety of purposes. Is most significantly used for the Strong Badia lettering on the Stop Sign, but is also used quite a lot for Halloween toons. "The Strong Badia Sign!"
Book Antiqua Used for the sign of Tammany Hall as well as the text "Boss Tweed gives The Sneak what-for!" in Ballad of The Sneak. Who's the Dapper Swindler out of Tammany Hall?
Bookman Old Style Used for a variety of purposes. Consistently used for the title of The Local Newspapes. "Eggs tree, eggs tree!"
Boopee Used as Marzipan's handwriting in A Decemberween Mackerel. It's so great!
Braggadocio Used rarely. Notably used for the word "Super" in the Super Mud Easter egg of date. "Marzipan's gotta face fulla super mud and I'm feelin' fine."
Britannic Bold Infrequently used. Was used for the text "Earn your 'stache today!!" in the On Point Kings brochure in more armies. Boy, do the On Point Kings have a brochure for you!
Broadway Infrequently used. Was used on the "Strong Bad Rewards Score Card" in privileges. "All right! Now let's see what new privaleges await you!"
Brush Script font family
Brush Script MT
Used for a variety of purposes. Notably used for the caption of the horse picture in no loafing.
"And this wood-burny thing's got some kinda old adage on it. About goats."
Brush Script Std
Used for the word "Powders" in hygiene.
"By fifth grade the damage is already done."
BrushScrD Used infrequently for a variety of purposes. Notably used on the cover of the Limozeen album in bottom 10. "Na, na, la la laaaaa! Hey, hey! Doo-doot doo!"

Californian FB Used for Strong Bad's nameplate in the CGNU Prinicpal's Office. "Do you want to be more awesome? Sure! We all do."
Calisto MT Used for most of the text in the various children's books throughout the site. The Martinis have gone straight to their heads.
Cataneo BT Rarely used. Notably used for the text "by Leomard Sportsinterviews" in the children's books That Time of Year and Everyone Is Different. Everyone is different. No two people are not on fire.
Century Gothic Used infrequently for a variety of purposes. Notably used for the sloshy logo and most of the text in Limozeen vs. sloshy. "All right, we're done here."
Century Schoolbook Used for the serial numbers on the dollar bill in An Important Rap Song. Found on the dolla.
ChalkDust Similar to EraserDust but with small caps instead of lowercase letters. Used primarily on chalkboards, as in A Jorb Well Done. "We have got to do something about that."
Chang and Eng Used infrequently. Notably used for the title of the Lucky Toons Menu. Can I Take Your Order, Please?
Cherry Coke A font designed to look like the former logo of Cherry Coke. Used for the buttons at the end of A Mother's Day Message. "HAPPY FREAKIN' MOTHER'S DAY!!!"
Cherub Used for the question marks on the menu of In Search of the Yello Dello when selecting a deleted scene. Deleted Scenes, anyone?
Chicago Used as the font for The Cheat's computers. "Quit rubbin' that plastic bar of soap on your desk!"
Chick Used for the title of Scarfgirl magazine and in the logo of sbemail deodorant. fashion AND environment stuff
Chiller Frequently used for Halloween-themed toons and games. "Ohhh, people with too much time on their hands..."
Coaster Used for the words "This guy!" on the desk in Hremails. This guy!
Colonna MT Used for the engraving on the Pizza Trophy in Trudgemank. "Pizza Trophy for The Cheat"
Comic Sans MS Used for a variety of purposes. Notably used in the bar graph in from work. "Twenty percent pantsuit..."
ComixHeavy Used throughout the site for a variety of puposes. Its use with the most visibility is in the news portion of the Main Pages. Also consistently used for the text "Cheap As Free Toys" on the packaging of action figures, and the words in both the Homestar Talker and Coach Z Talker. Also used for the title of Marzipan's Answering Machine versions 1.0 through 8.0 (with the exception of 7.0). Go on and see what's new!
Commodore 64
Commodore 64 Pixelized
Used extensively throughout the site, but best known for being the Compy 386 font. Also notably used in Peasant's Quest, and as the Lappier's font in sbemail 206. Commodore 64 Pixelized is only used in April Fools' 2014; its spacing is slightly wider. "And your name is Watered Down!"
Consolas Bold Used for the numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4 on The Poopsmith's helmet in I Killed Pom Pom. "Ah! Objection! Leading the witness!"
Coolvetica Used to simulate the font Helvetica in more armies, though it is not especially similar to Helvetica despite its name. Boy, do the On Point Kings have a brochure for you!
Cooper Black
Cooper Std Black
Used extensively throughout the site for a large variety of purposes. Notably used for the Thnikkaman's wavy announcement lettering, in the Pistols for Pandas logo, on the Grape-Nuts Robot, and for the logo of Butter-da. Also used consistently for the loading screens of Puppet Stuff as well as other toons of that size. Cooper Std Black is very similar, and rarely used. No one can resist.
Copperplate Gothic Bold Infrequently used. Notably used on the theater booklets in stupid stuff, part-time job, and No Hands On Deck!. "I'm gonna be a famous email checker."
Copperplate Gothic Light Rarely used. Notably used on business cards in other days, senior prom, and buried. "I think it has to do with trees!"
Coquette Regular Used for the word "Load" in I Killed Pom Pom. Load

Courier New Baltic
Courier New Greek
Courier New TUR
Courier New is used infrequently for a variety of purposes. Notably used to simulate a typewriter in both secret identity and fan club. Its variants are rarely used and are very similar if not identical. "I'm slowly but surely making the girls of the world cooler for all us dudes."
Crack Babies Rarely used. Notably used for the title of the movie Regenerator 4 in the horror movie Easter egg of disconnected and the title for Most in the Graveyard. Or: Four More Regenerators
Crayon Rarely used. Notably used for Homestar Runner's "résumé" (aka grocery list) in The Interview. "...you'll see that I have quite a bit of experience in many different related fields."
Creepy A drippy font used infrequently for a variety of purposes. Noticeably used for the word "Gravy" on The KOT's Good Gravy in for kids. "I don't lets the Poopsmith near it!"
Croobie Used infrequently for a variety of purposes. Notably used on Marzipan's chalkboard in both marzipan and unnatural. "...and I really don't like him at all."
Curlz MT Used on the bag of Crisps, A-Soy! in do over. "Homestar, can you pass the soy crisps?"

DeepFreeze A font with each character covered in snow. Used for Ice Style Cream and Cold Ones. "Yeah! Yeah! Spoon it up!"
Deng Thick Used for the text "2-E-Z" in car. "Oh cool. What's it going to say? 2-E-Z?"
Denmark Not often used. It is consistently used for the logo of the Corpy NT6, although the word "Corpy" has been modified by splitting the letters. "Oh, man. They got everything blocked now."
DooM Used for the words "Blue Laser" on the box of Blue Laser Blasts! cereal. Blue Lazer Blasts!
Dot-Matrix Used on the scoreboard in the New Version of In Search of the Yello Dello. One day after sports practice...

Eccentric Std Used for the words "Another Releative of Bubs" in Most in the Graveyard. "Hey, man! Show some respect!"
Edwardian Script ITC Used rarely. Notably used for the captions below the images on Strong Sad's DNA Evidence diagram in DNA Evidence. Yes. The world will never know for sure.
Elephant Used infrequently for a variety of purposes. Notably used for the logo of 'Old Ones as well as the text on the King of Town gravestones in an Easter egg in original. "You and me, we're like two breads in a biscuit."
English111 Vivace BT Used for Strong Sad's handwriting in Strong Bad is in Jail Cartoon. Well, I gotta go.
Engravers MT Used infrequently for a variety of purposes. Notably used on Strong Bad's gravestone in replacement. Please don't dig up the grave
Enviro Used rarely. Notably used for President Truman's quote on the box of King Castlefunny Pencil Moistener in old comics. "Everybody's gonna need one!"

Three rarely-used fonts similar in design with varying thicknesses. The most noticeable use is Eras Demi ITC, used for the word "Death" on Strong Sad's painting of a bar of soap in unnatural. Death
EraserDust Similar to ChalkDust but with lowercase letters instead of small caps. Infrequently used for a variety of purposes, and unlike ChalkDust it is not often used on chalkboards. Notably used on cassette tapes in cheatday and time capsule. "I got fresh jams."
Euphorigenic S Used for the word "December" on the calendar in A Death Defying Decemberween. "The D'Weeve, Yo!"
Eurostile Used for the word "ecochair" in the chair. "Aww, your snowman died!"

FederationBold Used frequently for a variety of purposes. Notably used in the logos of Videlectrix, Viidelectrix, and Kidelectrix; for the numbers on Homestar's clock; and for the word "Styleron" in the chair. "We use computers... to make video games!"
Fh_Scribble Used for the band name she likes cloth in independent. "Oh, and don't forget the indie soundtrack by unknown bands..."
Figaro MT Used infrequently for a variety of purposes. Consistently used for the word "Coldson" on Coldson Lite cans. Coldson Lite
Fine Hand Used for the names in the front cover of both That Time of Year and Everyone Is Different. Does the package have a troll in it? Or maybe a troll?
Fontdinerdotcom Only used for a blank space between "Strong Bad" and "Sings" in Strong Bad Sings.

Footlight MT Light Used for the "Old People Music" CDs in an Easter egg in anything. Available in Really Slow, Pretty Slow, and Very Slow.
Forte Used frequently for a variety of purposes. Notably used for the words "Its dot com" on First Time Here?, "Hello, my name is" on name tags, and the words on the Baloney Sammich Truck. "Oh, right. Homestarrunner dot net."

Used for the labels "TOTAL JOURNALIST" and "Private Eye/ Crooked Cop" on doors in The Interview and dangeresque 3 respectively.

Used infrequently. Notably used for Listerine containers and for the product names on Z' ShopChan in what i want.

Georgia Used rarely. Notably used for the words "The Denzel" in bedtime story. The Cheat's security, um, item.
Gigi Used on the "School of Barbzerdry" flyer in haircut. No cuts, no butts, no coconuts.

Gill Sans MT
Two similar fonts. The most notable uses are of Gill Sans MT, namely for for the costume names at the end of The House That Gave Sucky Treats as well as for much of the text on the clapboards in First Time Here? and Fluffy Puff Commercial. "Believe it or not, I'm walkin' around, I never thought I could trick or tre-e-eat..."
Gill Sans Ultra Bold Used rarely. Notably used for the words "FBI Warning" in Marshmallow's Last Stand. Consider yourself warned.
Glitch0 The Lappy 486 font. (especially you, Katie 80)
Glitch1 Used for the word "ENCORE!" at the end of rock opera. "Join me on my single hundred toilet dreams picture."
GlooGun Used rarely. Notably used for "The Git Outcha Seat Sound" in geddup noise. Everybody's favorite style.
Gloucester MT Extra Condensed Used rarely. Notably used for the Fun Size Butterfingers in The House That Gave Sucky Treats. "Tell me this: what's fun about eating less candy?"
GoreFont Used infrequently for a variety of purposes. Notably used for the game title "Blood Bleeder" in slumber party, the logo of the Sog Dog in environment, the words shown to represent the "evil half" of the brain in Commandos in the Classroom, and often in Halloween toons. "Whoa! Jackpot!"
GoSoul Used for the word "Rhinestone" on the Rhinestone Jazzler box in Hremail 62. "Rhinestone Jazzler"
Goudy Old Style Used rarely. Most notably used for the text "THE KOT'S" on a sign in Halloween Fairstival. "Step right up and get your Halloween on!"
Goudy Stout Used infrequently. Notably used for the POTATES sack worn by Sickly Sam and on the gas can in Happy Fireworks, pizza joint, and your edge. "Can you spare any mush for me?"
Gradl Used rarely. Notably used in the title and for the chapter headings of the Book of Party Tricks, Redneck Jokes, and Worldly Records in record book. "Now that sounds like a book worthy of every toilet-side magazine basket."

Three very similar fonts, their most apparent difference seems to be their quotation marks and apostrophes. Stencil BT is used most frequently and for a large variety of purposes. Notably used for the Heavy Lourde, the Puke Pail, modern Potate bags, the numbers on the race track, and markings on cardboard boxes and wooden crates (including the soapbox). "Welcome to oblivion, Danger-skew!"
Sterling Used for the text "I sure do hate matches." in Pom Pom's thought balloon in Pom Pom, Too. he doesn't play with matches
Street Cred Used for the words "track listing" in Hooked on Decemberween. "I'm really sorry that I got you bad presents."
Sumdumgoi Used for the title of Fortune Cookies. You will tire of your mayonnaise and it will grow tired of you.
Swiss911 XCm BT A sans serif font. Used for the words "Smoothies, Too!" in lunch special. Smoothies, Too!
Sydnie Used infrequently. Primarily used for games and the Corpy NT6 font. You cannot get the FLASK.
Sylfaen Used rarely. Notably used for the text during the Easter eggs of little questions. "Never would have guessed you weren't from around here."

Tahoma Used for the text "fine tip permanent" on the permanent marker. "Max out your Cloits and Dloits with the ease of a thousandaire."
Tahoma Small Cap Used for the label on the Kleenload box in original. ...behind that washer/dryer box...
Team MT Used for the slogan "Buy all our playsets and toys!!" in Cheat Commandos (toon) and An Important Rap Song. Also frequently used for subjects relating to college and/or sports. "Weekdays at 4:30."
Techno Used on the front of the XL ProTime VHS/VCR Player. "Then I duct-taped an alarm clock to your VCR."
Tekton Pro Used for the text "Flying Okays" on the Mediocre Institute pennant Easter egg in bike thief. MI: Mediocre Institute
Tekton Pro Cond Used for the label of the "Tube Cream" in hygiene. "By fifth grade the damage is already done."
Tekton Pro Ext Used for the "Click gently..." link on New Paper in environment. New Paper, doing his part.
Tempus Sans ITC Used for the "Strong Sad's Haunted Haikus" banner in Halloween Fairstival. So sick of Smarties.
ThereChat2 Used for the letter "g" in the "i got your Lappy" ransom note in cliffhangers. "Oh, sweet lady irony! Why do you mock me?"
ThereSignHead1 Used for various purposes. Most notably it is used for the text "DRY T-SHIRT CONTEST!!!" in bottom 10 and "WE'RE GOING TO NEED YOU TO FLUSH TWICE!" in underlings. "Absolutely No H2O!!"
ThereSignHead2 Used in the text "e-NIVERSITY" on the medallion in theme song. "At CGNU, one year equals one click."
ThereSignHead3 Used frequently and for various purposes. Is consistently used for the labels on paint cans, and for the text on Mrs. Bennedetto's buttons. "I never pass up a chance to stick it to the man!"
ThereSignText1 Used for the text on the chocolate hundred-dollar bills in different town. "Imitation chocolate!"

Times Roman
Times New Roman is used extensively throughout the site for a variety of purposes. Notably used in coloring for the names of the crayons and most of the text in the Limozeen Coloring Book. Times New Roman Baltic is used rarely and has a similar, if not identical, appearance. "Grab a box of sixty-four, with a sharpener built right in!"
Tiranti Solid LET Used for the title of "Da News Papes" in underlings. Back Pape is good, too.
Tire Shop Demo Version Used for the name "J William Pom Thomas C Pom" during the intro credits of Pom Pom's film in independent. J William Pom Thomas C Pom
Trajan Pro 3 Used for "OUR NATIONAL BOLD" in an Easter egg in April Fools' 2014. "Oh-ho! He's our national bold! Ohhh man! What fun!"
Transylvania Used for the words "Folding Chair" in yes, wrestling. Strong Bad's Folding Chair Dungeon
Trebuchet MS Used for the entire olde version of The King of Town DVD. But he worries all the time.
Tw Cen MT Primarily used for the word "contrast" on the Tandy 400. contrast
Tw Cen MT Condensed Most consistently used for music video credits. Dir: The Cheat
Tw Cen MT Condensed Extra Bold Used for the list of courses to study at Crazy Go Nuts University as seen in CGNU. Or GET YOUR DEGREE!
Twentieth Century Poster1 Font designed to look like movie poster lettering. Used most noticeably for The Pizz pizza boxes. Also available in Slumber Party Style!
Typewise Alpha Used for the text "SX:" in the game title Lewis Rudkin SX: england. SX:
TypewriterRough A frequently used font designed to simulate an inferior typewriter, as seen in the title of Rough Copy! in rough copy. Rough Copy!

Viner Hand ITC A rarely-used handwriting font; it's found in the header of the Podstar Runner background. podstar.runner
Vladimir Script A handwriting font used for the text "Sings..." on the Strong Bad Sings album covers. Sings...
VOY DOT LCD A font that looks like the lettering of a scrolling LED sign. Used extensively throughout the site, but best known for being the font of The Paper. Preeeeow!

Each of the fonts in this font family are very similar, and are very infrequently used. The most noticeable use is Warnock Pro Caption in An Important Rap Song for the phrase "Holler for a Dollar". Holler for a Dollar
Webdings A symbol font that is rarely used. It is most noticeably used in one of the instant messages in marzipan. i seriously hope you didn't somehow decode this. it would make me real sad.
Weltron Urban A military-type font used consistently on the packaging of Cheat Commandos Action Figures. Not A Good Commando Name!!
Westminster A font based on the machine-readable numbers printed on checks, strongly associated with computers. Used extensively throughout the site, but best known for being the Tandy 400 font. "And if so, what kind of powers do you have?"
Westwood LET A font with various border effects, not used consistently. It is most noticeably used for the words "Chocolardiac Arrest" in bottom 10. "Oh, that looks sinful."
Wide Latin A wide font, not used consistently. It is most noticeably used on the wanted poster in Ballad of The Sneak. WANTED
WP IconicSymbolsA A symbol font with a wide variety of star shapes. In Everybody To The Limit, this font is used once for the word "on" in the phrase "I said come on, Fhqwhgads!" "I said come on, Fhqwhgads!"
