The people of Free Country, USA feel the music in their souls, and frequently break into song. These are musical moments.
Once in a while, a scenario gets music or a beat added to it. This is often initiated by The Cheat with his keyboard.
Appearances
- In Search of the Yello Dello — Upon finding the Yello Dello, Homestar Runner sings a song greeting it.

- Email bedtime story — Strong Bad sings The Cheat a lullaby, accompanied by Strong Mad on a chainsaw.
- Fall Float Parade — Coach Z freestyles when the K.O.T.H.S. Junior Varsity Marching Band plays a rhythm.
- Happy Hallow-Day — Marzipan tries to lure back Halloween night by playing reggae, and Coach Z joins in by making sound effects.
- No Hands On Deck! — Homestar considers writing a musical about building a deck. Coach Z auditions by singing "Where Is My Mudder-Dee-Doo?".
- Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 12.2 — Strong Bad's prank call to Marzipan claiming she said she'd bake a cake for all her friends gets a drum beat and bass guitar added to it.
- A Folky Tale — Coach Z interrupts Strong Sad's story twice with "The Dancing Brothers" who dance and sing "Gonna have a good time tonight".
- Date Nite — As their cardboard submarine sinks, Strong Bad and Homestar sing the Strong Badian National Anthem.
- Email space program — After his adventure is over, Strong Bad sings the theme song for Space Captainface: Pretender of the Galaxies.
- Email the movies — Homestar starts singing "Ever and More" while demonstrating the role of "the little girl behind [Strong Bad] who wouldn't shut up".
- Ever and More — This song becomes the "frothy, shanty chant" of the Broternal Order of Different Helmets, much to the disapproval of Strong Bad. Also, in the Easter egg, Homestar sings the theme song to Disney's DuckTales while bathing in gold coins.
- Quality Time with Cardboard Homestar — Marzipan sings a song about marshmallows on Carol with Cardboard Homestar.
- Email pop-up — After reading the email once, Strong Bad raps it twice. The Cheat then appears with his keyboard and presumably asks Strong Bad to rap it again while he plays a beat over it.
- Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 13.2 — Both the King of Town and The Cheat use the tape on Marzipan's answering machine to record a song.
- Email isp — While on a tech support call, Homestar sings his own hold music.
- Email death metal — Strong Bad says metal songs for people with blonde hair consist of words such as "tonite", "wooh-mon", and streets in Los Angeles. He then brings up a video stream of Larry Palaroncini of Limozeen singing a song with those words.

- Baddest of the Bands — When Strong Bad tries to offer an entry form to either Strong Mad or The Cheat, Marzipan breaks into song saying not to bother them.
- Hremail 7 — Homestar sings that he is about to take a bath in Melonade, and that it stings his skin.
- Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 16.2 — Strong Sad records an outgoing message that turns into a rap song. He erases it and pretends it never happened.
- Fan Costumes '09 — Strong Bad sings three songs about fan costumes: the first one is about how The Ugly One drawn on a cardboard box doesn't count as a costume, the second is about how nobody will recognize a Sterrance costume, and the third one accompanies a montage of poorly-done Homestar costumes.
- Fish Eye Lens (Easter egg) — Strong Bad, at a loss for words, starts babbling in rhythm, and The Cheat adds a back-beat to it.
- Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 17.2 — Strong Bad, sloshy and Larry Palaroncini all use Marzipan's answering machine to record their respective songs.
- The House That Gave Sucky Tricks Teaser — Homestar compliments other characters' costumes in rhythm while music plays in the background.
- The House That Gave Sucky Tricks — Homestar sings the same song to Strong Mad, but Strong Mad (dressed as the TiVo logo) skips most of it.
- Later That Night... — Dramatic piano music plays as Homestar compliments Strong Sad's costume in song.
- Mr. Poofers Must Die — Strong Bad's attempt to kill off Mr. Poofers ends with him bursting into song and the rest of the cast joining in.
- Fan Costumes 2018 — In response to fans dressed as Homsar and Coach Z, Strong Bad sings a song about how he's impressed, but disturbed. The second time, Coach Z joins him.
- The Homestar Runner Enters the Spooky Woods — In reference to his costume, Homestar sings part of the theme song to the Moomin television series. Also, in reference to Coach Z's costume, Homestar makes up a rap about "double-knit reversible stripèd pants".
- Fan 'Stumes 2019 — Strong Bad sings a song about a costumed fan dressed as Marzipan being the only person who came to a Halloween party at a rec center. He also improvises a rhythm about there being too many Homestars.
- Halloween Hijinks — Both Homestar and Strong Bad sing variants of the theme song to Bod. Homestar sings his response to Bubs's costume to the theme of The Legend of Zelda.
- Fan 'Stumes 2020 — Crack Stuntman performs a rap in the style of An Important Rap Song in response to a fan dressed as him. Strong Bad also sings a Trogdor-inspired song about burninating a Trunk-or-Treat event.
- Halloween Hide & Seek — If the player clicks on the moon while at Marzipan's house, Homestar will break into a song about dinosaur pie, and then mention that it has nothing to do with the moon.
- Fan 'Stumes 2021 — Strong Bad sings a song about Cannonmouth and his kitchen. He also sings a song about a Homsar prop with an elastic neckband in the style of Modestly Hot Homsar from different town.
- Diaper Sunrise — Homestar sings a song to himself about taping diapers to his window.
