Characters often eat or drink items not considered food or are implied to have done so, whether by ravenous eating habits or baldfaced ignorance.

  • Email secret recipes — Off-screen, Strong Bad presumably gives Homestar Runner a bowl of sour cream and The Cheat hair. Homestar knowingly eats it, only spitting it out when he mistakenly believes it to be cottage cheese and The Cheat hair. Later, Homestar eats "Stupid Uncle Egg's Goodtime Diaper Pie", which is actually a pine cone.
  • Email do over — Homestar, dressed as The Cheat, eats a pile of change off of the floor.
  • Bug in Mouth Disease — Homestar swallows a small bug and accidentally tells Strong Bad that he swallowed his computer instead of the bug.
  • Email theme song — Homestar is seen eating a sandwich made of light bulbs stuck between two pieces of bread.
  • Everything Else, Volume 2 — If the viewer does not select anything on the main menu, Homestar will try to eat the menu selections.
  • Quality Time with Cardboard Homestar — Homestar attempts to eat a broom and a coat while in the closet, thinking they are cake.
  • Email nightlife (Easter egg) — While asleep, Homestar decides to eat a kazoo, rather than a carrot. Notably, he seems to be dreaming that he is actually eating a fellow Girl Scout.
  • SBCG4AP Gameplay Trailer — Homestar bites a Wii remote, after calling it a "futuristic candy bar".
  • 8-Bit is Enough — Homestar swallows his quarter, Lucky George.
  • Where My Hat Is At? — Homestar rambles on about how it would make sense for his non-edible hat to be cooking on a food grill.
  • Soap Box Doiby — Homestar refers to a box of thumbtacks as "an after-school snack", and he downs the entire box.
  • Halloween Hide & Seek — Homestar talks about eating plasticine when he was young.

  • The House That Gave Sucky Treats — Two of the choices for Homsar are shaving cream and a wrench. Homsar says "Oh no, I think this is my favorite!" when you give him the wrench.

  • Email monster truck — The King of Town is seen eating a cardboard box covered in pancake syrup, which he thinks is a cake.
  • 3 Times Halloween Funjob — The King of Town eats a dozen eggs, washes them down with a roll of toilet paper, and afterwards starts eating Marzipan's candy-corn light bulbs.
  • Email the bet — The King of Town offers Strong Bad a can of Butter-da, which is apparently "for automotive use only."
  • Email secret recipes — The King of Town is seen eating various deodorant products.
  • Email record book — The King of Town eats a salt shaker.
  • No Hands On Deck! — The King of Town spits out a remote control.
  • Happy Hallow-dayStrong Sad accuses the King of eating Halloween night. He responds by claiming he's on a strict diet of Arbor Day and Earth Day.
  • Decemberween Short Shorts — The King of Town, as a stocking, hopes it isn't unethical or unlawful to want to eat himself and claims that it "wouldn't be the first time" he had been stuffed with coal. This is followed by a photo showing a plate of coal covered in onion salt and hot sauce, labeled "The King of Town's Last Three Items in the Pantry Special".
  • Email unnatural — The King of Town is seen sitting at his table, with a fork stuck in it and several bite marks taken out of it.
  • Email diorama — The King of Town admits to eating cotton balls.
  • Email nightlife (Easter egg) — The King of Town dips a motherboard in 70% cacao.
  • Email fan club (Easter egg) — The King confesses to have eaten The Poopsmith's whatsit pile.
  • Email buried (Easter egg) — The King orders the underground layers of Strong Badia as if he is reading a menu.
  • Email rated (Easter egg) — When the King hears that you have to eat puppies for breakfast in Transylvania, he tells the Poopsmith to pack his bags and plastic fangs.
  • Strong Badia the Free — In order to prevent Strong Bad from using it to leave his house, the King of Town eats Strong Bad's map from Homestar Ruiner.
  • Baddest of the Bands — The King of Town is seen eating a Wii remote while being recruited for DÖI. He also eats part of the wire to the button that activates Strong Bad's secret stage prop. He also eats bleached, buttered bats on stage.
  • Most in the Graveyard — When The King of Town is asked by Strong Bad why he dressed up as Hello Kitty, The King of Town replies that he dressed up as his favorite candy. Strong Bad remarks, "Um, I'm pretty sure those were erasers."
  • Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 16.2 — The King of Town mentions that he's eating a chocolate-dipped tapeworm.
  • Doomy Tales of the Macabre — Strong Bad accuses The King of Town of eating the colonel's mustard and the rope and the parlor. The King argues, "I admit to only two-thirds of that statement!"
  • Soap Box Doiby — The King of Town thinks the soap box derby is for eating soap.
  • I Killed Pom Pom — The King of Town ate the Poopsmith's whatsit pile and frames Homestar for it.
  • Email sbemail 206 — The King of Town takes a bite from a mirror.
  • Later That Night... — The King of Town says that he eats expired food and Scrubbing Bubbles bathroom cleaner.
  • Halloween Hide & Seek — The King of Town admits to trying to eat plasticine.
  • Decemberweenvent Calendar (Day 2) — The King of Town boasts that he'll at least try to eat Holiday Cheer.

  • Dangeresque Roomisode 3: Keep My Enemies, Loser
    • When Dangeresque notices a missing cork in the fake wine barrels, Perducci protests he only ate one.
    • For the final puzzle, Dangeresque mixes a cocktail from non-toxic cleaner, a broken piece of a satelitte and a poisoned dart serving as a swizzle stick. Should Dangeresque forget to put in the poison, Perducci will drink it without issue.

  • Under Construction — Stinkoman eats Sticklyman's "dirt" to determine what it is; although it turned out to be pudding, he didn't seem to know that before putting it in his mouth.
  • Email time capsule — Stinkoman eats real dirt, commenting: "Oh man, those first four hundred bites of dirt were not so good. Maybe the next one will be better." He then eats a cassette tape from Strong Bad's time capsule, believing it to be a Power Crunch. After eating it, he claims that "it tastes like a number one jam".

  • Email interview — After a brief conversation with Homsar, Strong Bad prepares to gnaw off his own leg.
  • Teen Girl Squad Issue 10 — Strong Bad claims that the piece of paper containing the last panel of the comic (and a picture of the Hotgly One) is a piece of pizza and stuffs the paper into his mouth to disguise the fact that he was making out with it.
  • Decemberweenvent Calendar
    • Day 1: Strong Bad claims he used to eat the contents of chocolate and Lego Advent calendars.
    • Day 14: Strong Mad makes Strong Bad a vaguely cube-shaped "Chocolate Glowy Box" for Strong Bad out of melted chocolate and lit-up Christmas lights. Strong Bad humors him by saying he'll eat it later when its voltage dies out.

  • The House That Gave Sucky Treats — Strong Mad eats rocks and then half an actual can of soda. (This inexplicably causes The Cheat's head to explode.)
  • Email Processing Room — Strong Mad chews up a piece of paper with an email printed on it and spits it out before sending it to Strong Bad.
  • Email origins — Strong Bad says Strong Mad ate The Cheat's chainwhip.
  • Email narrator — Strong Mad confesses to eating his battleship. Strong Bad then claims he's "surprised Strong Mad hasn't eaten The Cheat by now".
  • Sbemail 150?!? — Strong Bad claims that Strong Mad ate his 150th email.
  • Email isp — Strong Mad literally sucks up bandwidth.
  • Email retirement — Strong Mad, as "House-Mouth", swallows the Compy 386 whole.
  • Doomy Tales of the Macabre — Strong Mad accidentally eats The Cheat, and Strong Bad then claims that Strong Mad eats The Cheat four times a day.

  • The House That Gave Sucky Treats — Necco wafers remind Strong Sad of when he ate colored chalk and nearly died, while he also confesses to have eaten baking chocolate when there was no other chocolate in the house.
  • Rotten Eggs — Strong Sad enjoys making stewed Easter basket grass (whether he himself eats it is debatable, however).
  • Homestar Ruiner — Strong Bad says that the smoke detector hasn't had a battery since the day he made Strong Sad eat a 9-volt Po'Boy.

  • Meet Marshie — "Munch" is depicted as a plate of marshmallows with nails stuck through them and batteries on the table, and "Pinner" consists of marshmallows with an eyepatch, hat, and cigar.
  • Email english paper — The second page of the paper is a diagram depicting batteries being eaten.
  • Fan Costumes 2016 — Strong Bad recalls that the Cheat Commandos action figure for Gunhavette had been recalled due to Cheap as Free Toys printing a label on the packaging encouraging kids to eat it.
