Jibblies

For this week, how about the jibblies? MHarrington 05:16, 29 March 2010 (UTC)

Jibblies seems like a good choice. --209.148.176.136 02:29, 29 May 2010 (UTC)jibbliejibbliejibblejibblejibbliejibbliejibblie
I dunno, while not completely centered on Halloween, I think jibblies would be a good FA around, say, October. StrongAwesome 02:31, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
Maybe the idea of the Jibblies would work. 'd and -ed are great choices as well, though, as well as The Announcer, and New Paper, since this is the time the New Paper was introduced. RickTommy (edits) 02:59, 6 June 2010 (UTC)
Suggesting five ideas at the same time won't work, Ricky. 'd and -ed aren't too interesting, The Announcer is pretty short, and New Paper needs to be worked on. Even if this is the time it was introduced, it needs a better article first. --Kingdom Stars 14:56, 6 June 2010 (UTC)

SBLOUNSKCHED! Bar

Done HRWiki:Featured article for 2010, week 23 (Jun 7-13)

Well, how about SBLOUNSKCHED! Bar? I'd have to say it's better written than the jibblies. Looks like random page finally payed off. --209.148.176.136 02:41, 29 May 2010 (UTC)

I was just about to suggest that. Let's do SBLOUNSKCHED! Bar! PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie
SBLOUNSKCHED! Bar has been featured. It seemed a little more cohesive than jibblies and seemed better organized. Although not animated, the image was good too! --Stux 15:23, 6 June 2010 (UTC)
so, the SBLOUNSKCHED! Bar won, did it? i'm okay with that. The Knights Who Say Ni 05:54, 7 June 2010 (UTC)

Strong Bad's Computer Malfunctioning

Done HRWiki:Featured article for 2010, week 24 (Jun 14-20)

For this week, how about Strong Bad's Computer Malfunctioning? We could have the intro and all the little descriptions after it, sort of like that article on characters lacking certain body parts. MHarrington 18:45, 3 April 2010 (UTC)

That could work, although I'd prefer The Virus. --209.148.176.136 02:29, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, let's do The Virus! PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie
Nah, I think Malfunctioning is a great one, as well as Strong Bad's Technology. RickTommy (edits) 01:06, 10 June 2010 (UTC)

The Reddest Radish

How about The Reddest Radish? RickTommy (edits) 00:20, 11 April 2010 (UTC)

While this is (once again) over the limit of ten, there doesn't seem to be a clear consensus in some of the nominations above. Why not contribute your opinion there first instead of adding more weeks? StrongAwesome 00:53, 11 April 2010 (UTC)

I agree with Strong Awesome in that you should discus other things before bringing up something else. On a more related note, I don't really like the idea of featuring Reddish Raddish, but I don't know what we could replace it with. PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie

404'd

I came up with something: 404'd. PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie

Nevermind. That needs expansion. PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie

Homestar Ruiner

How abut Homestar Ruiner? PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie

If we were to do individual SBCG4AP episodes, they should be done in increments at a time. MHarrington 15:39, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

Sterrance

Done HRWiki:Featured article for 2010, week 25 (Jun 21-27)

Might I propose something that had been proposed before, but got bumped off by something else: Sterrance, but not Da Huuuuuuuudge, since the former appeared more often than the latter, and it was the one SB claimed to have gotten right. MHarrington 15:39, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

Sterrance sounds good. PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie

Basement of The Brothers Strong

Done HRWiki:Featured article for 2010, week 26 (Jun 28-Jul 4)

Since we just did Sterrance, how about Basement of The Brothers Strong? PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie

Great idea. RickTommy (edits) 01:06, 10 June 2010 (UTC)

Cardboard Marzipan

Cardboard Marzipan? RickTommy (edits) 10:44, 19 April 2010 (UTC)

What did the man say to you above? --Essence of Ghost Water 12:20, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
At this point, we're exactly 10 weeks out, so he's OK this time. Heimstern Läufer 12:21, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
Oh. Anyhow, Cardboard Mazipan is a good choice. It's certainly better than Cardboard Homestar. --Essence of Ghost Water 12:24, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
While Heim's right and he's ok within the 10-week limit, RickTommy, why don't you give others a chance to make initial suggestions during the new few FA weeks for a change? There is no need to rush the FA process and you should give others a chance to weigh in their suggestions without them feeling rushed or like they need to follow a specific topic. Thanks. --Stux 18:08, 25 April 2010 (UTC)

New Paper

New Paper? RickTommy (edits) 02:43, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

New Paper is sloppy and not written well. PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie
I disagree. Besides, it's been nearly a year since the New Paper "died", so if it's going to be featured, it'll hafta be around now. RickTommy (edits) 12:18, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

Lookin' At a Thing In a Bag

Can We do Lookin' At a Thing In a Bag now? PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie

Umm, what about my idea instead? And besides, you could move this suggestion to Aug 2-8. RickTommy (edits) 13:17, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
Your idea totally ignored the repeated messages to your talk page. — Defender1031*Talk 13:20, 26 May 2010 (UTC)

Li'l Brudder

Done HRWiki:Featured article for 2010, week 27 (Jul 5-11)

Li'l Brudder? RickTommy (edits) 00:06, 3 May 2010 (UTC)

Spotlight hogger. :P
That aside, Lil Brudder is a good idea. PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie
I agree. Yeah, not much to say. --209.148.176.136 02:29, 29 May 2010 (UTC)

A Sbemail

We usually feature a Sbemail around this time. How about either rock opera, bottom 10, your friends, death metal, or different town? RickTommy (edits) 00:17, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

You know, there's not much consensus on anything else. If you're so eager to get things done, I request you help with the others before you throw something else out.

Yeah, we could do bottom 10. PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie
And we need to keep this list below ten. And let someone else come up with an idea sometimes, please! MHarrington 15:30, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

Everybody to the Limit

Done HRWiki:Featured article for 2010, week 28 (Jul 12-18)

It does end on August 2nd, right? Anyways, how about Everybody to the Limit? PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie

That'd be a good one. MHarrington
Good. Also, I beat RickTommy. :D PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie
No, July has 31 days. The week ends on August 1. The Knights Who Say Ni 15:22, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
Ah. Thanks for clearing that up for me. PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie
Yes! Everybody to the Limit is a great idea.

A pseudocharacter

I'd like to go with a pseudocharacter for this week. Charlemagne seems likea good choice, but Wormdingler and Credenza would work too. --Kingdom Stars 12:23, 2 June 2010 (UTC)

Strong Bad Sings

How about Strong Bad Sings instead? RickTommy (edits) 01:06, 10 June 2010 (UTC)

SXSW Panel - 14 Mar 2005

Done HRWiki:Featured article for 2010, week 29 (Jul 19-25)

For this week, how about something proposed long ago: the SXSW Panel from March 2005. MHarrington 01:05, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

It's comical and worthy of being featured. --209.148.176.136 12:11, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
If we're going to do an interview or public appearance, how about a more notable one? I can't really think of one (I'm not really into that sort of stuff), and besides, I wholeheartedly believe that we should do something 20X6-related this week. RickTommy (edits) 12:38, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
For the record, the reason MHarrington suggested the interview he did was because of This. We opted for The Couch then. I like this specific interview, so I'm for it. StrongAwesome 20:50, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
This seems like a good idea. The only mild concern I have (which I alluded to last time) is the possibility that the writeup might be too short (it's a fairly short interview). If we can get a good writeup, though, I'm all for it. Heimstern Läufer 08:31, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
As I said, I think a more notable interview/public appearance should be featured instead. And what about my 20X6 suggestion? RickTommy (edits) 08:42, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
RickTommy, sometimes consensus doesn't go your direction. I think in this case that's what's happening: people are disagreeing with both of your points and favouring another option besides your suggestion. You've clearly stated that you think a more substantial appearance should be chosen and that you think this week should be 20X6. Others disagree. Constantly reiterating is not going to change people's minds, rather, it's going to make them annoyed. Heimstern Läufer 08:49, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
Per that guy above me. --209.148.176.136 21:34, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

Stinkoman 20X6

How about something 20X6-related instead? Perhaps either Make-O Your Own Stinko or Stinkoman 20X6 (I know we're waiting until it's finished, but at the rate the site is going, I don't think it'll ever be finished)? RickTommy (edits) 12:18, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

How about discussion rather than just throwing out ideas while ignoring previous suggestions? Heimstern Läufer 12:31, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
RickTommy, that's the same thing you suggested for last week before it was deleted. So stop hogging the spotlight. --209.148.176.136 12:49, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
