| * In the movies, the starring character is beheaded, but does not die.
| * The disembodied head continues to command the body despite being severed.
| * The disembodied head grafts appendages onto itself to improve its mobility. It is then capable of flight.
| * There are three existing enumerated installments in the Re-Animator series. A new sequel would be titled "Re-Animator 4" which phonetically resembles "Regenerator 4".
| * The Re-Animator series has a strong cult following: particularly among horror, splatter & b-movie genre fans, as well as fans of series creator and Sci-Fi-horror forefather H.P. Lovecraft.
| |||
| stuffargsagainst | ||
| * The Re-Generator character grafts bat wings onto itself. Strong Bad takes on repulsor lifts, then exhaust pipes.
| ** How is them both grafting stuff onto themselves an argument against?
| ***They don't graft the same things onto themselves, hence this is something that Regenerator does not share with Re-Animator.
| * This movie is not well-known enough to be worthy of a reference.
| * The plot of Regenerator 4 could have been randomly concieved as a generic B-movie-like plot, and the title is based on that plot.
| * TTATOT, I was actually thinking of Living Dead, or army of Darkness.
| *Doesn't RegeneraTOR Four just rhyme?
| **Does "regenerator" rhyme with "four?" No, that would involve vowel sounds.
| |||
| stuffcomments | ||
| *What does TTATOT mean?
| **This, that, and the other thing.
| *** How does "TTATOT, I was actually thinking of Living Dead, or army of Darkness." count as an argument against?
| ***Especially since it's an unsigned comment, and we'd have to pore over the edit history and hope they were logged-in just to figure out who "I" is.
| *Please show evidence of how this movie, which was so popular as to garner TWO sequels, is "not well-known enough.".
| **I'm not an expert with B-Movies, but since they tend to be low-budget I don't imagine they'd have to be all THAT popular to garner a sequel. I'd never heard of these movies, and even knowing about them now, I fail to see them as a reference.
| ***The "B" in "B Movie" stands for budget. As in: even though it's visibly limited, there is a budget. Even in B-movie land: actors, crew and equipment aren't free, and you don't get a sequel unless there's an audience for it. I'm sorry you've never heard of Re-Animator, but I don't think "teenagers from the future" was one of the target demographics. These movies are known not just by "experts" in B-Movies, but by anyone who can name more than four.
| *I am not a follower of B-Movies, nor have I ever heard of Re-Animator. Despite all this, the "fact" sounded very believable to me.
| **I don't think the opponents can dispute the factuality of the similarities here. They apparantly think it's all a random coincidence though, not an intentional reference. Either that, or they don't think it's interesting enough.

The book featured a totalitarian state led by a mysterious dictator known only as Big Brother, who was often seen on posters along with the slogan "Big Brother is Watching You".
