 | Homestar Runner | The Impressive Clergyman | The Impressive Clergyman is a character in the movie The Princess Bride. At the film's climax, Buttercup (the title character) is to be wed against her will to the villainous Prince Humperdinck. The drama of the moment and the clergyman's dignified appearance are both quickly undercut once he begins speaking: his homily begins with "Mawwiage...", revealing his rhotacism (very similar to Homestar's, as Strong Bad notes) and a comically shrill voice.
