'"Everybody Everybody" is a simple phrase highly connected with Homestar Runner, often used to refer to the main characters or idiosyncratically as a replacement for a single "everybody" in a sentence. The phrase has been variously punctuated with a separating comma, exclamation points after both words, or no special punctuation at all.

The prominence and recognizability of "Everybody, Everybody" is due to its usage in a song of the same name. A simple earworm composed of a brief synthesizer loop accompanied by childlike voices singing "Everybody, everybody!" (the phrase is repeated six times, for a total of 12 "everybody"s), the song was featured in an introductory animation for homestarrunner.com — at first playing automatically, then prominently linked from the index page — that greeted visitors to the site for nearly 20 years. As explained in an interview, the singing is actually The Brothers Chaps' voices sped up to be higher-pitched, inspired by the Japanese children's chorus in the "Gamera March" (which was famously parodied in Mystery Science Theater 3000). "Everybody Everybody" has frequently been used as a theme song (more so than another early attempt at a theme song) or slogan for the site and body of work as a whole.

• Debut: Old Everybody Intro — The song "Everybody! Everybody!" is first heard, accompanying an animation featuring the words "everybody everybody" onscreen and all the main characters (Homsar is not included, as he had not been created yet).
• Old New Intro — The song plays in the background again. Though the word "everybody" no longer appears onscreen, Homestar Runner sings along (albeit out of time with the melody): "Everybody! Lah-dee-dah-dee-dah! Everybody! Lah-dee-dah-dee-dah!"
  • Flag Intro — An earlier version of this introduction (judging by Homestar's design) features different graphics and cuts off before the song finishes.
  • Ween Intro — Virtually identical, apart from Homestar's outfit colors changing to Halloween-themed orange and black.
• Dancin' Bubs — The song is one of the options Bubs can dance to.
• A Holiday Greeting and Decemberween Email Menu — A Decemberween version of the song is sung.
• Who Said What Now? — The Cheat's quote is singing to the tune of the song.
• Email the basics — The email intro is based on the song.
• King of Town Intro — The King of Town sings the song in this version, though he performs a "doo-hoo" version rather than singing the lyrics.
• Weclome Back — The song plays over the ending group shot.
• Email what i want (Easter egg) — The Homestar Runner Dancin' Musical Nobot dances to a low-quality recording of the song.

  • April Fool 2014 — The opening of the toon is modeled after the index page, replacing the page title with "Everybody! Everybody?".
• In Search of the Yello Dello Theatrical Trailer — The rating screen declares that the preview has been approved for "EVERYBODY! EVERYBODY!".
  • Sbemail 169 Deleted Scene — A similar screen appears.
• Wallpapers — One of the wallpapers depicts the characters accompanied by text reading "everybody! everybody!".
• Homestar Runner Screensaver — The attached text file includes "Everybody! Everybody!" among several other phrases.
• Everybody Everybody Poster — The phrase is written at the top of the poster, giving it its name.
• Email long pants — The phrase is used in Homestar's tirade about his pants.
