Homestar Runner Theme Song
From Homestar Runner Wiki
"Homestar Runner Theme Song" is an early theme song written for the Homestar Runner series. Its simple, repetitive lyrics cheer on the really great athlete Homestar Runner and his friend Pom Pom while warning of the villainous Strong Bad.
Briefly considered for use in an introductory video for the site, the intro that was ultimately used was set to the similar, simpler tune "Everybody, Everybody". While not as enduringly popular as "Everybody, Everybody", the "Homestar Runner Theme Song" still occasionally resurfaces throughout the years.

[edit] Fun Facts
[edit] Remarks
- The lyrics mention "mom and dad". The subject of Homestar's parents (or indeed the parents of any other character in the series) is rarely broached.
[edit] Trivia
- As explained in an interview, the vocals are the Brothers Chaps', sped up to be higher-pitched. This was inspired by the Japanese children's chorus in the "Gamera March" (which was famously parodied in Mystery Science Theater 3000).
- This Japanese influence can be seen prominently in the visuals for Super NES.
