[edit] Thank you from pertmywert
Thankyou so much for all your help and ideas. I hope you can keep on being nice to me and I to you. Email me if you want. --Pertmywert|♥ 02:32, 10 Jul 2005 (UTC)
- Pertmywert, to answer the question you asked earlier, I think you're a fine user. You've made several good contributions recently, including some necessary reverts. Also, in all seriousness, I appreciate your willingness to welcome new users. I think your ♥ is in the right place there. (Side note: there's a link in your welcome template that says "me" but actually points to JoeyDay. Perhaps change "me" to "JoeyDay".)Remember that not everybody stays at their computer every minute of every day, so sometimes patience is required when waiting for a response. And it's an unfortunate fact that many of the users go unnoticed who do a lot of little but important things. It's like an umpire in baseball, who nobody pays any attention to when everything is going fine, but people rant and shout when a call is blown.A couple of pointers: whenever you're describing your edits, try to avoid emotionally charged words like "useless", etc. It's sufficient just to say "reverted such-and-such to version by so-and-so". Even better, try to find the good parts of an edit see if you can reword them so they fit into the article. (See this edit for an example.)To sum up, keep up the good work learning, gaining experience, and making quality contributions.Sincerely,
It's dot com 03:20, 10 Jul 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks from Payphone Ed

- Glad to help. I know the feeling... "No TV and no beer make It's dot com something something." "Go crazy?" "Don't mind if I do!" Actually, it's more like no TV and no Dr Pepper, in my case. — It's dot com 23:16, 14 Aug 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks For Your Help
The fanstuff wiki appreciates it :). «Rob» 05:35, 17 November 2005 (UTC)
- Wow. You're fast. Do you have a bot helping you do that? - Joshua 11:46, 17 November 2005 (UTC)
- No, not a bot. We did have a bot (Valerie) working on it, but it wasn't very fast, in my opinion. So I decided to keep doing them manually as long as I could. Fortunately, I know a couple of shortcuts that allowed me knock them all out in a fraction of the time it would normally take. — It's dot com 13:36, 17 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Marzipan's Answering Machine X.0
Thanks for all your help eliminating redirects! — Bill 20:04, 8 December 2005 (UTC)
- Collaborative effort makes everything go faster! Yay! (And when I got started fixing the category, I just couldn't stop till it was done.) There was one more page I wanted to fix, but I didn't, since it was your subpage and you were the one spearheading the project. — It's dot com 20:11, 8 December 2005 (UTC)
- Yeah, I figured I'd leave that one for very last. When that one's done, it means I'm done. — Bill 20:42, 8 December 2005 (UTC)
- Agreed on the collaborative effort thing. :) — KieferSkunk (talk) — 20:15, 8 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Curiously...Here's some mad props
Hey, just want to apologize for all the headaches I've been causing here on the site and to give you the credit for the "curiously, Strong Bad misspells curiousity" quote that I...uh...borrowed/stole for one of my new pages. I only used it because I thought it was really funny and couldn't think of a better way to phrase it. Just wanted to give you mad props. You deserve it!
---Jeff J. W.(Talk·Contribs) 20:23, 6 January 2006 (UTC)
- I completely forgot about writing that. :) You shouldn't feel bad about taking anything from one article and putting it on another, because anthing on the site that is not copyrighted by someone else (usually TBC) is released under a Creative Commons Deed. Also, you're doing a rrll rrll good job, so keep it up! — It's dot com 20:30, 6 January 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks man. Another one that I totally missed! Jeez, I'm as bad as Strong Bad. I hope. Anyway, I just thought I should give credit where credit is due. Keep up on the edits here and hopefully TBC will fix homstarrunner.net soon.

[edit] Has Matt? ON WHEELS!
Thanks for clearing up all those page moves on my user space. I seriously was actually laughing the whole time it was happening. I think my userpage had at least 12 "ON WHEELS!" in the page title. My first time being WoW'd. Ever. Well, anyway, thanks a lot! — Has Matt? (talk) 04:14, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
- No probalo. :) — It's dot com 04:17, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
- Wow! someone must really like you! Ooo! ooo! Here's an idea (stemming from our basement discussion that should really go there but i'm sure the discussion has been archived): use the Captcha (ok maybe it's not such as hot of an idea now that i see the page move history) for making moves for all users (since we move pages seldom). But i guess these moves were done manually! Interesting. --Stux 04:21, 27 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Upgrade to 1.6 at the fanstuff wiki
Hey, awesome job, you and Tom really work harder than most people notice. The log in page is the best part, though. however, do you think you'll be able to add the poopsmith border again? I'm just wondering if 1.6 can't do that. — Seriously (Talk) 00:54, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
- I love the RSS upgrade....But one question: Why did you upgrade the HRFWiki before the HRWiki? --Dacheatbot · Communicate 02:18, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
- We try to shake down any problems we're going to encounter there before we apply the upgrade here. Not all fanstuffers are happy with this arrangement, but it's the best we've got, as it allows us to identify problems using a database that already has an enormous amount of content. If it's any consolation to them, we did spend an extensive amout of time testing the new features before we committed them to the live wiki. As for the Poopsmith, I don't know when or whether we'll be seeing him again soon. — It's dot com 05:25, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] MediaWiki 1.9
You and Tom are doing an excellent jorb administrating, patching, updating, doctoring, and running our version of MediaWiki (and everything that goes along with it). Thank you so much for your hard work. ^_^ Loafing 20:52, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Clamburger Approved
I do, good sir, approve of your following activities:
- Going out of your way to create extensions and the like
- Creating highly questionable fanstuff
- Having a great sense of humour (and a great sense of humor)
- Stalking us (among other places)
- Putting up with us
- Putting up with me (there are far too many pages to link to)
I therefore declare you "Clamburger Approved" for your great efforts at the Fanstuff, braving users that some people wouldn't touch with a ten-foot clown pole.
You're always awesome,
Super Sam

[edit] Excellence in Discussion. Awardee Primarius
Dot Com, it is my esteemed honor to award you with this, the first Medal for Excellence in Discussion! Honestly, I must say that you discussion etiquette and style that I used as the gold standard for deciding what kind of discussion was truly worthy of honor. As someone that I personally feel I will always look up to and emulate, regardless of how experienced I may get or how many edits I make, it is my honor, honestly, to give you a small token of my appreciation for making our Talk Pages a little better, and a little more civil.
