The Sketchbook is a collection of conceptual art and sketches by The Brothers Chaps. These were once found by clicking on the S at the top of the Main Pages, and were generally updated on Thursdays from 2004 through late 2009. This hiatus was briefly broken in 2014, but no new art has been shared since October 30 of that year. Since the post-Flash site update on the first day of 2021, the button no longer works.

As of November 22, 2004, the image and text are no longer part of the Flash file.

• The font used in the captions was Bauhaus 93, the same font used on Homsar's shirt.
• Sketchbook entries often featured ideas considered for or used in toons that had been recently released.
• Clicking the S button repeatedly while it was still loading caused the caption to move up the box. The more times it was clicked, the farther the text would move.
• The longest hiatus between pop-up updates was exactly five years between October 22 of 2009 and 2014, with the longest overall hiatus being over 9 years since the following week's sketch. During activity, the record was eight weeks between April 10 and June 4, 2009.
