Weekly Fanstuff is a collection of fan-submitted Homestar Runner projects and pictures. The latest featured fan work can be viewed by clicking on the F button at the top of a main page; a new submission was generally featured every Thursday from 2004 through late 2009, at which point the feature ceased to update. This hiatus was briefly acknowledged in 2014, but no new fan creations have been shared since October 22, 2009.

Fanstuff could be sent to The Brothers Chaps at their email address, brotherschaps@homestarrunner.com; the fact that the email address is now closed suggests that Fanstuff has been entirely discontinued in favor of @StrongBadActual.

Fun Facts

Trivia

  • Prior to November 22, 2004, the image and text were included as part of the fanstuff Flash file.
  • The font used in the captions is Bauhaus 93, the same font used on Homsar's shirt.
  • The longest hiatus between pop-up updates was exactly five years between October 22 of 2009 and 2014, with the longest overall hiatus being over 10 years since the latter date. During activity, the record was seven weeks between June 21 and August 9, 2007.

Glitches

  • Clicking the f button repeatedly while the Fanstuff is loading causes the image to be placed further to right when the popup appears. The more times it is clicked, the farther it moves.
  • After the post-Flash site update on the first day of 2021, the button did not work: clicking the button on any main page had no effect.
    • On April 14, 2025, the button's function was partially reinstated; however, on most main pages the subtitle is placed too low in the box and read "some fan's stuff" (presumably placeholder text). The correct caption and placement is currently only rendered on main pages 24, 25, 27, and 28.
