- Strong Bad "vote[s] yes one million" to being a character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. However, in a later Tweet, he refers to the game as "Super Smashy Towne Ultra-mint", and says he wishes he was a character, but assumes people think he has a chance because of Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People.

- Stinkoman 20X6 — After defeating The Liekand in Level 6, it transforms into a mouse. This may be a reference to the Sonic the Hedgehog series, in which defeated enemies almost always revealed their power sources, which were various animals.
- Kick-a-Ball — Homestar calls "Sonic! I mean, Tails!" on the coin toss, referencing Sonic the Hedgehog, and his sidekick Miles "Tails" Prower.
- Poker Night at the Inventory — Strong Bad compares Tycho's hair to "a greasy hedgehog... unassociated with any video game license", referring to the Sonic the Hedgehog series.
