[edit] References
- 20X6 may be a reference to 20XX (200X in the earliest games), the non-specific time period in which the Mega Man games take place.
- Stinkoman's "robot boots" are similar to the ones that Roll, a female character from the Mega Man games, wears.
- Email japanese cartoon — One of the NES endings in the Easter egg is of Mega Man 2.
- Teen Girl Squad Issue 4 (DVD commentary) — The Brothers Chaps compare the Giant Brain Mech to a Mega Man boss.
- Marshie's Malloween Mix-Up — Marshie's death animation is taken directly from Mega Man's. Also, the health bar is similar to the one used in the Mega Man games.
- New Boots — In the Hip Hop Dance music video, the pixellated Coach Z is an edited sprite of Mega Man.
- Scrolling Shooter Games Menu — The "Ready!" text that appears when the menu loads is from the NES Mega Man games; that is, it uses a similar font and placement.
- Stinkoman 20X6 — The game is a parody of the NES Mega Man games; as such, it contains numerous Mega Man references. See the complete list.
- Dangeresque Roomisode 1: Behind The Dangerdesque: In the version featured in Dangeresque: The Roomisode Triungulate, Dangeresque imitates Mega Man's jumping pose when he "has to jump" from his office window.
