## Gameplay Counselor

Do they even have Nintendo Gameplay Counselors anymore?-LordQuackingstick 00:16, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

Not that I know of; at least it's not a toll-free service anymore, and if they exist I don't think they're called by the same name. I could still try to grow a mullet, though. 06:09, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

## Nothing else to say. I'd say that went pretty well.

Yep, looks grood :) Hope you enjoyed Heroes — I've heard it's a good show. 09:40, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

## Goodbye

Good bye, old friend. It could be minutes before I am blocked. :,( TheYellowDart(t/c) 04:35, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

Well, with good reason — using a sockpuppet to try to sway STUFF voting is pretty dishonest. You've made some good contributions to the wiki, but you've also made some bad decisions — I hope that these ten days will motivate you to make better choices in the future. Best, 04:44, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
I totally understand. --TheYellowDart(t/c) 21:02, 18 February 2007 (UTC) You may want to check my apology to Dot Com on his talk... if you haven't yet.
Don't feel bad about it — what's done is done. I'll look forward to seeing more good-faith contributions from you :) 22:23, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
Okay, thank you. Man, when's Dot Com gonna get on? --TheYellowDart(t/c) 22:28, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

## Help me

Do you know how to put an image in your signature? Can you explain how? Visorbot 386

Yes — what you should do is...
1. Create a page at User:Visorbot 386/sig and put the text [[Image:wiki.png|20px]][[User:Visorbot 386|Visorbot 386]] there (just replace the sample image name for whatever image you want, and you may have to adjust the image width (the 20px thing) to make sure that the image is no more than 20px high.)
2. Then, go to Special:Preferences and paste {{User:Visorbot 386/sig}} into the "Signature:" line.
3. Now, whenever you want to leave a signature with a timestamp, just type four tildes (~~~~). If you want to leave a signature without a timestamp, just type three tildes.
Hope this helps, and let me know if you have any questions! 17:35, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

It isn't working for some reason.. this comes up: Visorbot 386

It should be fixed now. Let me know if you have any other questions! 19:38, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

## Hello???

Hi! 19:10, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

The point of the matter... Oh whatever. Look here. --Addict 2006 19:11, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Yep — replied already :) 19:16, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

## Thanks

It's in the right place now. Shaz 05:56, 5 March 2007

No problem — it looks pretty cool by the way; I don't blame you for getting excited :) 06:01, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

## Hey!

Did you see my other wikipdia userpage? Lazylaces? Lazylaces Talk

Cool! I have a Wikipedia account too, but I use it pretty infrequently :) 17:30, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
In case you didn't know, I did the same thing on my HRWiki user page. Of course you do know I am also on Wikipedia. But I go back and forth. Kinda. I used to have a variant of Not the 100th Email!!! on my user page, but then decided to switch to two unattended Lappy 486 screens, and then to a single Lappy screen with Strong Bad's reply. --Addict 2006 15:51, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

## Sysop

Hi there Trey. It is my distinct pleasure to announce that you have been given sysop privileges and responsibilities. If you have any questions, never hesitate to ask. May you always use your powers for good and for awesome. Thanks. -- Tom 22:21, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

Yay! I'm not the newest sysop anymore! =3 --DorianGray 22:23, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
Hooray for not having to tag completed STUFF pages for deletion anymore and wait for someone else to do it! Keep doing good stuff for the wiki and do block some vandal for me soon. Heimstern Läufer 22:25, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
Combolations to Trey! :D - The Joe(Talk) 22:28, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
W00t! You weren't a sysop already? What do you know... ;-) Loafing 22:36, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
Wow — this took me off guard! I've loved being a part of this wiki, and I'll do my best to responsibly use the sysop tools to help keep it a great place for everyone. Thanks for the honor of asking me — I know that these duties aren't entrusted lightly. Kicking Cheats 'til the day I die, 22:38, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
Combolatations Elizat Rey! Er. That's all I have to say. :) --Stux 23:08, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
Great job getting the sysop position, Trey! We'll all be rooting for you! -Brightstar Shiner 23:12, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
Just in case you were wondering, your baby has to earn it's own sysop privileges. No inheriting alowed. Many congrats to you, Trey! — 23:19, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
Thanks guys :) And Lapper, you better watch out: my son has sharp teeth! 23:25, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

Man, man. I thought you were already an admin by the time I first got here as a member. You should start putting these welcome messages on free-per-join! (Nothing else to say...) --Addict 2006 01:20, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

I'm running out of congratulatory H*R references. Oh well. Ah, well, happy Sysopday, Ilko. --Jay (Talk) 01:22, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
Congratulations Trey! Now the wiki is in the arms of a truly worthy adversary. Sometimes... you are so awesome... it hurts. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 06:42, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
Whoa, I'm late, but I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN!! I KNEW YOU HAD WHAT IT TAKES!! Great joregghhrb! I didn't know this until now. I will bow to you. --TheYellowDart(t/c) 02:38, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
Oh, no need to bow, Dart. Rise, my son. And giveth me instead, \$7.50 with which to buy some buffalo chicken tenders. 02:42, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
• stands up*. Okay. I'm up. Do you like those shiny new sysop buttons? --TheYellowDart(t/c) 02:44, 14 March 2007 (UTC) Did you just call me a professor? Right on, Trey!
No way!!! You weren't a sysop before?!?!?! (I see I'm not the only one amazed by this!) Sorry I'm fangoriously late with this "Combolations"!! Now, go take a skillet-nap for all the hard work you've been doing! kai lyn 16:49, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
Hey there good buddy, congrats! It was long overdue. You have been a quality wiki user for a long time and carried yourself as a sysop from the beginning. Keep defending ye new wiki from SPLODING. 03:41, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

Gahh! When did this happen?! Man, this is what happens when I only visit the forum. Anyways, discombobulations! This ends the story. Challenge again!-LordQuackingstick 19:00, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

## Thank you

You have an awesome welcome. You made me fell very welcome thank you. (User:Panamon Creel)

No problem — and welcome again! Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. 00:39, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

## Deleted, true but....

Hey Trey, maybe not the best place to put this but for lack of a better place.

When things are deleted, as are off color pages from time to time or even just maybe regular maintanence. How you do decide that?

How does one decide? (I've come to play on IRC off and on, but for the rest of us, how do you decide?) Nothing accusatory, really. Just, a ?. (User:Bryanc)

Are you asking about a specific item in particular? Most deletion decisions fall into one of the following categories; I've listed the conditions required for deletion next to each one.
• Normal article created in the mainspace — put the {{tbd}} template up and delete if consensus to do so is achieved.
• Article intended for or resulting from blatant vandalism — immediately delete.
• Articles/images/etc. whose creator/uploader requests deletion — immediately delete.
• STUFF pages — wait seven days after the last item has been closed, then archive items and delete template. (see here)
Also, note that all deleted pages can be retreived, and poor deletion decisions are subject to reversal by other sysops.
Does this sufficiently answer your question? Later, 06:04, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
That is valuable information, thank you. I actually don't remember why I was all fussed about anything to begin with. Someone ought to install a breathalizer on my computer. BryanCTC 20:26, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
No problem — let me know if you think of any specific concerns :) 20:33, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

## User:Bigscarymike

I just want to bring to your attention that this user has a link to porn on his userpage. Additionally, he swears on one of his userboxes and makes a comment on there that makes me want to throw up. Thanks, --TheYellowDart(t/c) 23:06, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the note — I'll get back to you in a minute. 23:33, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
Okay, Dot com left him a message — if Mike's response to your complaint isn't satisfactory to you, feel free to calmly discuss it with him on his talk page. Talk atcha later, 00:20, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

## Hey

updated my user page! Lazylaces Talk 15:27, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

Looks good! — and thanks for adding me to your page :D 18:51, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

## STUFF vote correction

You have brought to my attention that a person can only accept one revision of the same fact. I appreciate it, and I have made the corrections, which you have adknowledged, however, could you please point out specifically where it states this in the policy you pointed out? Thank you. Flare 23:12, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

Sure — it's the second-to-last sentence in the "Notes about voting" section on HRWiki:STUFF. "Revisions to facts are considered separate. You can decline the original wording but accept the revision. (You cannot accept more than one revision. Only your bottommost vote to accept will count.)" Hope this helps, 23:14, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for pointing this out. And I must say, you've been very helpful and polite to me, despite the obvious fact that I'm new here. I very much appreciate it. Thank you. Flare 19:12, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
No problem — everybody's new once — we're glad to have you here! 20:44, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

## I'm really sorry for...

Hey! I wanted to apologize for editing your page and saying bad things. I was just angry and I now relize that was wrong. Is there anything I can do to make it up?

Apology accepted — no hard feelings :) 21:43, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

## Page Creations

Do you have any idea what page to create, cuz I can't think of any.

None come to mind at the moment — however, there'll likely be an update within the next 24 hours, and so there should then be plenty of work to do! Other than that, it's always good to work on refining our currently existing articles. Hope this helps, 23:49, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

## signature

Is there any possible way to get an animation beside my name or a signature?Haddiman

There is — the trick is to have one that's subtle enough that people don't find it distracting (see HRWiki:Signature). But, if you find such an image, you can upload it and put it in your signature using the instructions at Help:Signature. Let me know if you have any questions! 23:56, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

## Userpage

I updated my page -- Lazylaces Talk 16:44, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

Looks good — I like the new font! 23:56, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

## Need I say this truthful comment?

Please see my user page immediately. --Addict 2006 14:15, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

Understandable!! Well, you should be pleased at least that this year's prank is a lot tamer than last year's, which had a lot of people fooled until April 2 hit. I thought this year's was clever, personally, and it took me by surprise :) Laters! 22:22, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

## "Truthful comment", day 2

Okay, now can you see this? And looks like you oughta archive your talk page. But do something about the NES Trivia Challenges. Oh wait. Yes, SB has just had his funeral dirge contested. See my user page for more info. --Addict 2006 14:11, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

Archive my page? No way. A long talk page is the coolest. =3 I agree with you, though, the other song they chose for Strong Bad's funeral seemed really out of place. Boo! 15:22, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
Well, I've given up my coolness. Ah well, it was fun while it lasted. 06:05, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

## Yay ;-)

Happy Tuesday! -- Lazylaces Talk 11:49, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

Whee! I'll say! 15:34, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

## NES Question

Nope — the game is Super Mario Bros. 3, and the toon is Pumpkin Carve-nival (see here). 17:29, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

## Hey there!

I was wondering how do you delete and undelete a page?

Hey, Sam. If you see a page that should be deleted, add the {{tbd}} template to the top of the page. In an unusual case where the page requires speedy deletion (e.g., vandalism, etc.), you can use the {{delete|insert reason here}} tag. In the first case, if consensus to delete is achieved on the talk page, a sysop will delete the page, and in the second case, the same thing will happen but more quickly. You can read more about this at HRWiki:Deletion Policy. Hope this helps! 22:41, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
Thanks!!!
Also, I mean literly, how do you really delete a page like you deleted Visitation Room?
Aha. That's a restricted feature, but not having access to this doesn't prevent you from being part of the decision-making process which enables its use. 22:56, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

## Dear Trey56

I have noticed lately that you have been really a good friend to me lately. In that way, I have one thing to say. WELCOME TO THE COOL PEEPS LIST!!! I say, well done. It takes a lot of work to be on that list!

Thanks! 23:02, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

## Welcome Notice

Hey thank you for the welcome notice!--FG90 23:41, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

## Cool Homestar

do you like my cool homestar. Blkstar13 (Talk | contribs) 01:40, 7 April 2007 (UTC) (left unsigned)

Caleb Rentpayer? Yes sir. Yes, I do. 02:02, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

## A Similar Nintendo Challenge

Hey Trey. I have been thinking for a while to start my own Nintendo-esque trivia challenge. It is not endings like yours, just hard questions from Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, and Metroid games, with pictures and captions. This is kinda your idea and I am asking for your permission for me to do it. Cheese puffs are great, TheYellowDart(t/c) 00:31, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

Of course! No problem at all :) My only suggestion would be to tie it into Homestar Runner in some way, if possible. Laters, 01:56, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
Oh, yeahs, that's right. Homestar Runner... eh? I'll try. Thanks, man! --TheYellowDart(t/c) 02:06, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
No probalo. 02:07, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

## I've been meaning to rage at User:Bluebry for what he/she did to you before the slowness kicked in

But since it's been over a week, and it was over at User:Loafing/Archive1#Good riddance!, but most importantly, it's been over a week, I'd like to be on your side and throw over this Wikipedia warning. Or a tougher level 3 warning of that. But since it's been over a week, and rudeness is... discouraged, for lack of a better word, still you have to remember: User:Bluebry mis-grammared their insult. --Addict 2006 00:17, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

Oh, it was all part of the April one fun. But now that you mention it, Bluebry is blocked with an expiry time of $-\infty$. So, I guess he'll just have to wait it out. Backwards. 00:30, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
I kinda hope so, for our sakes. I'm not very forgiving. --Addict 2006 01:30, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

Congratulations. Your my favorite sysop. Annoying question, but can be a sysop! ('_'). Thanks for listening,

Hi! and thanks :) I don't make those decisions, but I can tell you that sysop responsibilities are usually assigned when there's more work to be done than the current group of sysops can handle. It doesn't look to me like we're currently in that situation.
Nevertheless, let me tell you that, by far, the things I enjoy most about participating in this wiki are things that any user can do — improving articles, participating in content discussions, collaborating with other users, and so on. Becoming a sysop is a goal for a lot of users, but the small set of maintenance responsibilities sysops take care of isn't nearly as rewarding as earning respect on the wiki by being a great contributor.
There is a section on the wiki FAQ addressing your question, but above that I would encourage you to enjoy trying to make good contributions rather than strive to be a sysop — it's a lot more satisfying! Hope that helps, and keep up the hard work! 01:16, 14 April 2007 (UTC)

## Sam's Signature

I need help with my signature. Can you help me?

Of course! What do you need help with? 01:36, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
Getting my signature like yours a little bit. Having 1 part link to my page, have 1 link to my talk page and 1 linking to my contributions. All of them being different colors. In fact, I don't care if you edit my signature.
