The Sketchbook is a collection of conceptual art and sketches by The Brothers Chaps. These are found by clicking on the S at the top of the Main Pages, and are generally updated on Thursdays. Here is a list of all the sketches from 2009.

	29 Jan 2009	robonic homestar	A drawing of what Homestar Runner would look like as a robot. He is depicted in the usual stereotypical shape. He is shown with arms and hands. His hands have antennae of some sort sticking out of a hole on the end of each of his fingers. His body is a square metal cube with a square hole in the front. His head is shown with screws and one bolt where his jaw and mouth meet. His eyes are vertical ovals with a greater shine on them than his normal eyes. There are two antennae on the top of his head in a "T" shape, in a way that resembles Homestar's "buzzer". His legs are depicted similarly the way his legs appear in the sketchbook entry "schoolyard chums". He also appears to be wearing a jetpack that appears to be part of him, with two antennae like the ones on his fingers in popping-out in the back center of each jets. With this description in mind, he is shown flying with his left hand open and his right clenched in a fist and retracted. The term "robonic" refers to The Robonic Stooges.

Fun Facts

• The font used in the captions is Bauhaus 93, the same font used on Homsar's shirt.
• Sketchbook entries often feature ideas considered for or used in toons that had been recently released.
• If you click the "s" button repeatedly while it is still loading, the caption will move up the box. The more times you click it, the farther the text will move.
• Until August 9, 2007, the Sketchbook of June 21, 2007 had not been updated for seven weeks, the longest hiatus between pop-up updates on record.
