[edit] Mustachio
"Mustachioed" is the proper spelling for the word, not "mustached". Just a heads up. --Jaybor Day (Talk) 00:01, 21 December 2005 (UTC)

Thought that I'd drop by to say hello. Happy wikiing!--ΨHomsarΨroksΨ 17:06, 23 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Question
Do you want your first section to say "E=MC2!" or "E=MC2! If you want the latter, type the following:
E=MC<sup>2</sup>!
Hope this helps. LePorello / T / C 01:11, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Needless pages
Einstein Runner, please stop creating a page called WHEEEEEEEE! You've said yourself that you know that page is useless, and creating useless pages is typically considered vandalism. Thanks for your understanding. Heimstern Läufer 02:48, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Personal Images
Hi, Einstein runner. You currently have 3 personal images (Image:Pinwheel.gif, Image:Wikimood -10.png, and Image:pull my finger sam.jpg). In accordance with HRWiki:Personal images, one of these images must be marked with the {{delete}} tages. Thank you. —FireBird|Talk 21:03, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
- You just removed Image:Pinwheel.gif from your Userpage. Is that the image you would like deleted? —FireBird|Talk 21:25, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
- I set Image:Wikimood -10.png to be deleted. —Einstein runner () 21:25, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Signature troubles
Hey there, Einstein runner, I saw you revert your edit of your signature and was wondering if this is the code you're looking for:
[[User:Einstein runner|<span style="font-family:AhnbergHand; color:#FF0000;">Einstein runner</span>]] - <span class="plainlinks"> [http://www.hrwiki.org/index.php/User:Einstein_runner http://www.hrwiki.org/skins/monobook/hr.png]</span>
I hope it helps. — Lapper (talk) 17:44, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Signature too long
Hey Einstein runner, your sig is too long according to the guidelines on HRWiki:Signature. Please shorten it so it fits in the blue box below. --ENUSY 20:45, 14 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Haw haw
Your page says you've been a member for about a year...I wouldn't consider half a year 'about a year'.
[edit] Show preview
Hey there Einstein runner. Let me introduce you to a little button I like to call "Show preview". It's right down there next to "Save page", but it shows the page without flooding the recent changes with edits. Cheers! — It's dot com 01:31, 7 January 2006 (UTC)
- I would like to renew my entreaty for you to use the "Show preview" button. Please start using it. Making 43 user-page edits in one afternoon is about 42 too many. Thanks. — It's dot com 23:29, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Welcoming
I saw you welcomed Snmaniac. If you didn't notice, he is not a new user, and had simply blanked his user talk. It's a good idea to check history on the page to see if a welcome has been posted, unless there is no user talk page yet. Also, your link to The Homestar Runner Wiki Welcoming Committee was incorrect. You might want to correct that in your template. Thanks for helping out! - Qermaq - (T/C) 01:51, 18 April 2006 (UTC)

- No, My birthday is on May 8. I said that on the IRC! —Einstein runner () 00:51, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Nondescript nouns
We don't need a category for that. It's covered adequately on the page Nondescript Nouns. Heimstern Läufer 22:46, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
- But it isn't referenced on the pages themselves, thus leaving the reader completelely clueless that there are nondecript nouns on the page. —Einstein runner () 22:49, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
- Fine. Hmph. —Einstein runner () 22:50, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
- Then you link it somewheres in the fun facts, like with other running gags. --DorianGray
- Ah, that's what you meant to do. I see now. In which case, Dorian's right: You can note the presence of the Running Gag as a Fun Fact and include a link to the fact's page. Heimstern Läufer 22:58, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
- Done! —Einstein runner () 23:06, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sig Subpage
Hi there Einstein. Sorry, but you're only allowed one sig subpage. Which one do you want to keep, out of "sig", "sic", and "siv"? ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 01:56, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
- I set the as {{delete}}. Shoot! —Einstein runner () 02:01, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Sig Help!!!
I'm trying to get for the link to my talk page in my sig, but it just shows up as the URL! Someone, please help! —Einstein runner () 21:27, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
- For whatever reason, it seems to only let you put images in Special: links... Venusy got around it by making a external link thingy:
<span class="plainlinks">[http://www.hrwiki.org/index.php/User_talk:Einstein_runner http://www.hrwiki.org/skins/common/images/thorax.png]</span>
which comes out as (you can put your "cursor:help" style in the same<span>
tag, like<span class="plainlinks" style="cursor:help">
). Hope that helps you. --phlip TC 21:47, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Subpages
I'm sorry, but subpages need to be somewhat descriptive of their purpose, and are not to be changed to different titles on whims. Please turn your preferences back to the /sig subpage, and in the future keep it linking there. Thank you. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 00:25, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
- Yours is Siggie, so I chose something that wouldn't be very obvious, and would be harder to faind and therfore edit. —Einstein runner () 00:47, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
- That is correct, my signature subpage is named siggie. I named it back before "sig" became the standard name of a signature subpage, and even now there is nothing wrong with it being named "siggie", "sigette", "signature", or any other "sig" related-type name. However not only is "Homsar" totally undescritive of it's purpose, it already existed for a long time before renaming it to Homsar, which would require the fixing of many redirects. Once a title has been chosen, it doesn't need to be changed just on a whim. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 01:04, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
In addition, nesting your userpage into several templates is also definently not allowed. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 00:23, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
- It just took me 10 minutes to find the original version in the history and revert it. You could have changed that instead of just leaving it under /welcome. >:-( —Einstein runner () 00:28, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Misleading userbox
Hey there, Einstein runner. I just wanted to let you know that I removed your userbox that looked like a sysop userbox as this might be misleading. — It's dot com 00:25, 3 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wikistress
Hi there Einstein runner. Please stop attempting to copy Wikipedia's wikistress system. We already have our own wikistress system in place, and it's simple because that's all we need. We do not need an extravagant system, and your method of copying from Wikipedia does not seem to take into consideration copyright law. -- Tom 19:27, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Language
Hi, Einstein, please don't use swears in edit summaries (or anywhere else on the wiki). We like to keep this wiki family-friendly. Thanks. Heimstern Läufer 21:14, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry. Just getting used to wikiscript again.
[edit] Look out!
I'll let it slide this time (and almost all times), but look out with words that could be objectionable to some users. "Damn" is OK usually, just make sure that you are not going too far. Drippingyellowmadness talk 21:47, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: W-W-W-Windows?
["Windows is 10 times better than Apple!!!!!!" No. "Apple may only control 10% of the market, but that is the top 10%." --Douglas Adams, the best author ever.]
You said at 22:10 on March 1st 2007
I say:
Whoa, take it easy. I will admit I do not have much experience with the Windows-Mac thing, but I'm sure that Windows is much more practical and follows what the computer was origionaly made for. The "authors" I listen to on the HOMESTAR RUNNER wiki are the brothers chaps in the FAQs:
Q. You dudes use Windas or Mac? A. We use Windows machines except for video and DVD stuff. That's done on a Mac.
For Everything but video, they use Windows. I will change it to three times better than Mac.

[edit] Holy crud crap!
That was amazing (considering you typed 'em up on Google). You win five PantsCakes for answering five questions. Just next time, try to sign your name on my talk so it's easier for me to find out who answered. - Pants 3000 15:23, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] The font issue
You know, the font still works on my machine. Did that font get uninstalled from yours? That would explain its failure to work. Or perhaps it got corrupted. Anyway, check that out, a font normally shouldn't stop working unless you delete it. - Qermaq - (T/C) 03:36, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
