[edit] Redirects

This is a placeholder topic for 5-year redirects. Due to overall decreased activity FAs are now being reused more often. The common practice has become to redirect to the FA exactly 5 years prior to the current FA. When an article is re-used mark it in the following manner:

{{FA queue|<date>|Redirects|alternatediscussion=yes|decision=<article name>}}

Example:

{{FA queue|15 Aug 2011 |Redirects|alternatediscussion=yes|decision=1-Up}}

Please keep this discussion in the FA page at all times but do copy it to archive pages as well.

[edit] Kick-a-Ball

Done HRWiki:Featured article for 2011, week 41 (Oct 10–16)

All Right, Kickball!!!!! -- Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 21:07, 4 July 2011 (UTC)

I wouldn't mind seeing this featured one day. It's a fun toon, this marks the first appearance of the Umpire since Where My Hat Is At? (the book version I think), and I liked the ending of the toon. — Ngamer01 14:56, 19 September 2011 (UTC)

[edit] Onion Bubs

Done HRWiki:Featured article for 2011, week 42 (Oct 17–23)

An important pseudocharacter. RickTommy (edits) 00:45, 2 October 2011 (UTC)

[edit] halloweener

Done HRWiki:Featured article for 2011, week 43 (Oct 24–30)

halloweener. RickTommy (edits) 05:40, 8 August 2011 (UTC)

It's a little bit of a short article, but compared to other early Sbemails it's quite long. I think it'll be fine for featuring. doctorwho295 15:08, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
SO GOOD!--Cheergly hands on deck! 13:35, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
Given that we're still in hiatus, i think it's best to only have 1 week for halloween this year. --Stux 14:00, 2 October 2011 (UTC)
Well, we managed to do two weeks last year. Also, from what I've heard, it's most likely that this will be when the Brothers Chaps come back. RickTommy (edits) 03:19, 8 October 2011 (UTC)

[edit] Jibblies 2

Done HRWiki:Featured article for 2011, week 44 (Oct 31–Nov 6)

Jibblies 2. RickTommy (edits) 05:40, 8 August 2011 (UTC)

So we're reverting back to the old format here? I'm for featuring Jibblies 2, and I suppose it's good for that week. doctorwho295 15:05, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
Alright! Jibblies it is! I can go in the painting and all!--The Cheergly One says, "Now spell encyclopedia.... What? I'm supposed to what?! {embarrassed} Oh, man... I blew it real bad this time." 11:18, 28 August 2011 (UTC)The cheergly one

[edit] Baddest of the Bands

Done HRWiki:Featured article for 2011, week 46 (Nov 14–20)

Well, we've featured Homestar Ruiner and Strong Badia The Free, so... RickTommy (edits) 09:09, 23 September 2011 (UTC)

I'm going to second this one as well. I like Homsar in this one. — Ngamer01 18:30, 6 November 2011 (UTC)
Seeing as Baddest of the Bands was released October 27, 2008, perhaps it's best to feature this for week 45, November 6-November 12, before its birthday gets a little belated. Soiled Bargains (talk|ctrb) 18:35, 6 November 2011 (UTC)

[edit] Week of Thanksgiving (Nov 21-27)

Done HRWiki:Featured article for 2011, week 47 (Nov 21–27)

Happy T. RickTommy (edits) 06:58, 12 September 2011 (UTC)

Happy T is kinda lacking in content. Is there even enough to manage a minimal writeup at least? — Ngamer01 18:30, 6 November 2011 (UTC)
Well there's what I believe to be a passable writeup posted. I only wish the Happy T! article wasn't so short. Should I move this into FA queue now or wait? — Ngamer01 18:18, 20 November 2011 (UTC)
I guess since it's somewhat passable now that it doesn't have to be redirected it should go in the queue, so I've moved it there. --Stux 19:35, 20 November 2011 (UTC)
(Edit conflict) We only have Happy T and Limozeen Thanksgiving E-Cards left as Thanksgiving-themed articles that haven't been featured. We could either make these two last and use them sparingly over the next few years, or we could get someone who's really creative to make a fully-fledged write-up for one of these articles. I'd prefer the former. If we're going to feature them within the next three years, I suggest we save these articles for their 10th birthdays: 2012 for Happy T, 2013 for Limozeen Thanksgiving E-Cards. Soiled Bargains (talk|ctrb) 19:39, 20 November 2011 (UTC)
Ah! I hadn't thought of the 10 year anniversary. That would've been neat. But then again by then the world might've ended so we should go ahead an feature it this year. Beasides, in future years we can always re-feature Thanksgiving stuff like, say, Happy T on 2012! ;) --Stux 00:53, 21 November 2011 (UTC)

[edit] Bubs's Shady Business Practices

Done HRWiki:Featured article for 2011, week 49 (Dec 5–11)

Although it's a relatively new article, it has been edited much more frequently than one would expect from an article created during this hiatus. RickTommy (edits) 06:36, 13 September 2011 (UTC)

Seems ok by me. I'm going to second this. — Ngamer01 18:30, 6 November 2011 (UTC)
Sewiously thuwded. PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie 23:47, 7 November 2011 (UTC)

[edit] Week of Decemberween/Christmas (Dec 19-25)

Done HRWiki:Featured article for 2011, week 51 (Dec 19–25)

Happy Dethemberween. RickTommy (edits) 00:45, 2 October 2011 (UTC)

I say this will be good for this upcoming Decemberween. Second'd. — Ngamer01 02:25, 21 November 2011 (UTC)

[edit] Seriously

Done HRWiki:Featured article for 2011, week 52 (Dec 26–Jan 1)

My recent comment made me think of this page, and since it is a common catchphrase, I think it could make a good feature. RickTommy (edits) 09:09, 23 September 2011 (UTC)

Well, it is Homestar's catchphrase. PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie 23:53, 7 November 2011 (UTC)
It may be Homestar's catchphrase, but the article is just one giant list. Can a decent FA come out of it? — Ngamer01 02:25, 21 November 2011 (UTC)
Seriously is Homestar Runner's catch phrase. The trend started after A Jumping Jack Contest, in which Homestar Runner said to Pom Pom "Seriously, Pom Pom, I'm about to pee my pants." Since then, seriously has appeared in many Toons, usually used by Homestar, although Strong Bad and the other characters have used it from time to time. The practice has been parodied by Strong Bad in the emails the facts and email thunder, and by the site itself in Xeriouxly Forxe. The original line was referenced in Most in the Graveyard with "Yahoo Seriously, Pom Pom, I'm about to pee my pants."

Or summin' like that. Mine isn't all that good, but it should give us something to go off. PowerFile:Homestar Kamikaze Green Favicon.pngPie 14:29, 30 November 2011 (UTC)

I guess I support this for FA as long as the main article can be updated some. — Ngamer01 17:17, 24 December 2011 (UTC)
