Hey wow. whats. up. i'm collin, da bomb and.. stuff. bye.

Marzipan Velma

Use a lowercase .png on MarzipanVelma2. That should make it work. —BazookaJoe 00:32, 19 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Hey Collin. I reworked MarzipanVelma again, and I was able to keep the anti-aliasing (smoothness) of the lines in her face. — It's dot com 00:58, 19 Aug 2005 (UTC)
I see that you're doing several of these. Go ahead and give them the same name as the old file (without a "2"), so that we don't have duplicates. Thanks. — It's dot com 01:00, 19 Aug 2005 (UTC)
okay thanks

Spell Checking

Nice work. You must have some good spelling error eyes. Thunderbird 23:17, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

I love what you're doing. Just be sure to mark it minor when you do. Keep on tranglin'! Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 02:31, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
Sorry i forgot a few times.. i'll remember from now on.--Collin 03:13, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

Good idea!

Good idea! I'll try it soon (on the old OS). Also, if it helps, I'll take a screenshot and post it on my page. Bluebry 03:17, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

Hope you don't mind, but I fixed your userbox. Bluebry 04:54, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

haha, thanks.. i really need to learn how to do stuff on here.. :P pretty much just like the box says ;) --Collin 04:55, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

Have a look at Help:Signature and HRWiki:Signature if you want to know how to make a signature. I've made a shrunk-down version of the Videlectrix man at Image:Videlectrix man.sig.gif. (I've tagged this with {{personal-image-sig}}... change it to {{personal-image-abandoned}} if you don't want to use it). --phlip TC 07:34, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
oh, thanks, i just sent you another message before i saw that :P--Collin 07:37, 3 April 2006 (UTC)

Revert this!

By the way, remember the unofficial motto of the wiki, be bold! (Wait for it... wait for—ah, nevamind.) Don't let the fact that you get reverted a lot keep you from making edits. You learn from getting reverted (hopefully!). If your edits are vandalism you'll just get blocked, but as long as they're simply mistakes or things people don't agree on, then every time they get reverted you get a better feel either for the official way of doing things or for what kind of things people tend to come to aggreement on. Of course, if the problem is just that you don't think you can take that kind of rejection, then I can understand. Everybody—me included—can get too attached to their edits. Just remember that you aren't them, abd that rejection of them isn't rejection of you. (And in my case I often have to remind myself that this wiki is here to document H*R, not so that people can be impressed with me!) —AbdiViklas 19:00, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

I know, i just.. its not that i'm always reverted, i'm just afraid to put wrong info or redundant etc, cuz i know thats annoying and i've seen other people on there putting stuff on and they're confident that they're right but.. fail anyway. i'd rather keep it in a talk page and not get reverted . --Collin 19:02, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
Hey, it took a lot of screwups for me to get how things work around here. (I still screw up and don't get it all the time!) But if you are honestly trying to do the right thing and screw up anyway, it's cool, no one will think less of you. Although a few people still revert with no explanation, more and more I see people explaining the reason for the revert. If you aren't sure why, ask on the reverter's Talk. But do be bold. Think about it - the guy who never edits can't learn how. The guy who makes 10 edit errors a day quickly learns how to avoid those errors. Learn to see each reverted edit as an opportunity to "get it" a little better. Don't give up hope! Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 19:16, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
I guess... k, no one's allowed to yell at me ^_^ --Collin 19:25, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

Great jaerb!

And by the way, you're really going to town on those WebSite-ings; thanks, they needed somebody to! —AbdiViklas 19:33, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, this was one of the first things i saw at the HRWiki.. and i've always thought that it needed some work, i just never had the guts to do anything about it :P --Collin 19:36, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
As the person who originally flagged it as needing cleanup, I'm very happy to see someone take on the task! Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 19:42, 29 March 2006 (UTC)

"pre"-style sigs

That happens when you don't properly match a tag (usually a "span" tag) in your sig. I fixed it for you. --Jay (Talk) 08:24, 3 April 2006 (UTC)

i knew it must have been something in the sig.. all that span mess. looking at it hurts my brain. thanks though, my sig would probably go on to mess up all kinds of pages otherwise :)--- Image:Videlectrix man.sig.gif Collin - (T/C) 08:27, 3 April 2006 (UTC)

deleting files.. someone reply

Okay, sorry, i'm stupid, but how do i mark an image to be deleted? i just replaced bicuitdoughhandsman.JPEG with bicuitdoughhandsman.PNG and i don't remember what you put at the top of the page. is it { delete } (without spaces, i don't know what it would do on my page..} or tobedeleted or what? someone showed me once and i feel stupid asking again, but yeah. thanks. --- Image:Videlectrix man.sig.gif Collin - (T/C) 04:17, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

No, you're not stupid for not knowing something. What you write is {{delete|Reason for deletion}}. In this, case, the reason would be "Replaced with correct format" or something like that. But remember, only use this template for deletions that require no discussion: otherwise, use {{tobedeleted}}. Hope that helps; meanwhile, I'll see if I can get on deleting that image for you now. Heimstern Läufer 04:20, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
P.S.: Put it on the page for the image itself, not on the Image talk page. Keep on tranglin'! Heimstern Läufer 04:44, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
thanks for the help.. you're a good sport with stupid people apperently :)--- Image:Videlectrix man.sig.gif Collin - (T/C) 04:47, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

I know what's wrong with your clock!

You have to replace the '5' in this line:

 document.getElementById('pt-time').childNodes[0].childNodes[0].replaceData(0, 5, currentTime);

with an '8'. --Y2K (15px-Crystal_Clear_app_xchat.png15px-Crystal_Clear_app_kedit.png15px-Crystal_Clear_app_email.png), Os we go to New York, 08:31, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

Right on bro! thanks for helping with that.--- Image:Videlectrix man.sig.gif Collin - (T/C) 08:34, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

Hi, Collin. Nice work getting all of those spelling errors. Have you ever seen HRWiki:List of common misspellings? I thought you might like it. Go wild! —BazookaJoe 22:44, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

Totally, that's what i've been going through ;) I think i've fixed all of them on that page. Thanks though. :)--- Image:Videlectrix man.sig.gif Collin - (T/C) 22:47, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
Re:Labeled: "Labelled" is a correct spelling, but is more common in the UK than here, so it's best to use "labeled" on HRWiki. Thought you might want to know. Heimstern Läufer 23:34, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, I wasn't sure.. I'm in the middle of changing the double L'd ones to labeled anyway. thanks for clearing it up for me though *thumbs up* --- Image:Videlectrix man.sig.gif Collin - (T/C) 23:36, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
