Drugs and other forms of medicine have been referenced frequently throughout the Homestar Runner universe, in both medicinal and recreational contexts.

Medicinal Drugs

• The theme from DANGERESQUE II: This time, it's not Dangeresque I — Dangeresque claims to be a celebrity pharmacist.
• Peasant's Quest — One of the items you give The Three Keepers of Trogdor is a bottle of pills.
• Email time capsule — One of the Easter eggs features Jobar's Big Ol' Headache Medicine.
• Stinkoman 20X6 — The main item for restoring health is a large pill.
• Email candy product — Strong Bad's junkmail filter, Edgar's Baby's Daddy, has one email with the subject "Re: PharamBlacy news", parodying spammers who advertise prescription drugs.
• Email web comics — The Cheat's junk mail filter has an email with the subject "PharmC7acy".
• Email alternate universe — Homestar Runner tries to make a real fruit smoothie using "Total Load", the total body fitness enhancing powder.
• Email retirement — Strong Bad runs out of his "antidepressants", and later his "Cloud Shape Spotting Log" in an Easter egg lists "diet pills".
• Fan Costumes '08 — In mocking The King of Town costume, Strong Bad used the phrase "I don't think the medication is working."

• Scroll Button Songs — Coach Z raps, "And if you're tryin' to fade me then ya must smoke crack!"
• Limozeen Thanksgiving E-Cards — Gary Palaroncini says, "Kids under six, don't drink and drive! And drugs, stay out of school!".
• Email autobiography — In "Words I Probably Said", Strong Bad explains that "somebody must have slipped [Reg] some drugs or something before the game".
• Email mascot — Strong Bad implies that he, The Cheat, and Strong Mad were high on marijuana when they came up with the idea for the Crazy Go Nuts University Dumple because he says they were all "really hungry."
• Email 4 branches — Homestar's "deadbeat boyfriend" shirt bears a striking similarity to a "Legalize Marijuana" T-shirt.
• Teen Girl Squad Issue 13 — So and So confuses diet soda with PCP.
  • In the DVD Commentary, Ryan Sterritt mentions a pot leaf visible in the Nuthin' but a "G" Thang content warning music video.
• Character Peacey P — The rapper's name is derived from PCP.
  • Rap Song — the Toon Menu channel ID for this short is PCP.
• Homestar Ruiner — Strong Bad orders a free sample of Total Load Strength Enhancer, a type of steroid.
