What I'm current doing outside the wiki
Well, since inquiring minds want to know...I thought I'd keep a brief paragraph or two describing where all my time is being eaten up. Here goes:
I have looked at user JoeyDay's websites and thought that they were cool. I have been long making small-time websites since about 1997 but never got really good at it. About a year ago I learned about Cascading Style Sheets or (CSS) and this REALLY opened my eyes to the possibility of web design. For years I have been using Macromedia Dreamweaver and saw the option to make a CSS document but ignored it because #1 I didn't know what it was, and #2 I wouldn't have needed to make changes to everything all at once because that's what templates are for right? Anywho, my copy of dreamweaver was less than legitamate when I downloaded it in 2001 (remember when Kazaa, iMesh, and others were still out of the public eye).
My eyes were opened to the possibilities of CSS when I say this site about a year ago. Well, I embarked to teach myself CSS while designing this site for my umpiring association. I have finally finished a design of my site that looks how I want it but...when I logged onto my friend's Mac that had Safari...big problems. Everytime I went to Joey Day's websites I saw a notice that said, "Internet Explorer has prevented you from having a better internet experience. Click to learn about W3C compliant browsers". I always ignored this since I know that there was a segment of the population that hated Bill Gates and Microsoft and thought that people liked other browsers because they were something other than Microsoft. Well a few weeks ago I type the following phrase into google, "My site looks fine in IE but not in other browsers." That's when I stumbled upon this article. Wow, my world changed. I am now playing 2006 catch-up and making my website W3C compliant. I have finished most of the HTML but a borrowed piece of Java isn't compliant, and since I never learned (have just borrowed) java...no fix in sight. However I am spending loads of time reading articles to find out how to make my CSS and site layout look relatively the same in most browsers.

About My Username
Yes! All will tremble at the crack of our eggs and the hush of our 2-ply toilet papers.
I am a sucker for obscure references, and I thought my username should be no different. This name refers to the SB email#16 Band Names. This was the same historic email that introduced us to the band Limozeen! What fun.
Outside of the H*R Universe I usually go by the username of topguncali or calitopgun, as Top Gun is nickname I've had since high school (although since its been a long time since high school, very few people know of this nickname, let alone call me it). I love the movie Top Gun despite its many technical and logistical inacurracies.

About Me
My real name is Chris Cali and I am a long-time wiki user, and an even longer H*R fan. I consider myself one the original crop of fans that remember things like the old formats of the website, and things like A Jumping Jack Contest. I am 24 years old and a business owner. I have a beautiful wife and an adorable 8 month-old son. I live in Virginia. I have learned to save my edits to notepad before I save because its very likely that 3 or me people will save and revert edits in the time that it takes me type something up. Slow down Clanky, slow down!
I love obscure references (hence my username) and love of Homestar Runner.
Favorite Quotes Found in the Wiki:
- What about option 4: the "Homestar talking into a banana" is actually a service robot programmed by Louis and Gilbert from Revenge of the Nerds to provide a visual representation of the messages left on the answering machine. The answering machine is, of course, connected to the "Homestar" robot by invisible nanowires or Marzipan's wireless network. from Trey56 ...link to quote
