[edit] Spanish Quote

On the way to the contest, another competitor, Strong Bad, made fun of them. "I'm the very strongest! You guys are not very strong!" Can Bluebry guess now? LePorello / T / C 11:06, 18 February 2006 (UTC)

Yes. Bluebry can guess now. --אוקאלייליי (Ookelaylay)

[edit] My Poll

On my user poll, I can't tell if your vote is for caffeine or crying. Which is it? LePorello / T / C 12:31, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

Sorry 'bout that, Porry! --אוקאלייליי (Ookelaylay)

[edit] Spanish translation

Is the spanish quote: "It was a sleepy that my friend ate a bad strong salad of I mark. It was the salad of I mark of my dreams."? Also that guy's name is Heimstern Läufer with an "ä" in it. NO!!! PLEASE... DON'T SHOOT!!! Tampo (T/C) AND SOMEONE GET THiS FREAKiN CURSOR AWAY FROM ME!!!!! 22:26, 21 February 2006 (UTC)

Don't use Babelfish, Tampo. Try to actually translate it. The quote translates to, "I had a dream that my friend had a Strong Bad taco salad. It was the taco salad of my dreams." — Lapper (talk) 22:28, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
Sorry, Tampo. He's right. I shoulda chosen a more easily translatable quote. --אוקאלייליי (Ookelaylay)PS What's the problem with heimstern's name? I removed the Laufer (just like Runner is often removed from Homestar) because I don't have a fancy a.
To do the "ä" type in ä instead of an "a". NO!!! PLEASE... DON'T SHOOT!!! Tampo (T/C) AND SOMEONE GET THiS FREAKiN CURSOR AWAY FROM ME!!!!! 00:21, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] New one

I am the floating head of the condemnation! --TheThin 23:20, 21 February 2006 (UTC)

Try "I am the floating head of doom!", perhaps. — Lapper (talk) 23:22, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
No it is I am the floating head of the condemnation! --TheThin 23:23, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
It would be, but Strong Sad's never said that. — Lapper (talk) 23:25, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
I know. --TheThin 23:25, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
The idea of this quote is to quote what a character has said, except in spanish. Strong Sad has not said "I am the floating head of the condemnation!", but he has said "I am the floating head of doom!". — Lapper (talk) 23:28, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
Lapper got it again. The Thing, please try and find out what the translated quote is closest to before answering. --אוקאלייליי (Ookelaylay)
When is it updated again? --TheThin 16:43, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
Whenever she can. LePorello / T / C 16:46, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
Right now. I'm sorry, I have standardized testing on Monday and Tuesday, so... I couldn't sneak on during school to update. --אוקאלייליי (Ookelaylay)
You know, like between the channel of the Dinosaurio of the Cg and the house with rollercoasters in them network? --TheThin 20:44, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
Yes. I don't know how, but... LePorello bat you by 20 minutes, but I just got the "new messages" message. Both of you win.--אוקאלייליי (Ookelaylay)

I'm pretty sure The thing has some sort of censorware or parental control on his computer, forcing even docile words like "The Diapersmith" or "The Poopsmith" to be censored. — Lapper (talk) 15:50, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
either that, or he just reused the ***'s I used so that the Diapersmith's name wouldn't be a clue to the quote. --אוקאלייליי (Ookelaylay)

[edit] Newer One

"Ya know, like between the CG Dinosaur Channel and the Homes with Rollercoasters in Them Network?" Is that it? LePorello / T / C 20:21, 24 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] How do I play?

So what do you do with this Spanish thingading? Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 00:41, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

Whenever she changes this image caption to a new spanish phrase, the first to translate it and post it on his talk page wins. Heimstern has a German version, he came up with the idea. And somebody else has a latin variation. Thunderbird 00:51, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

EDIT- SHE! SHE! FEMALE! --אוקאלייליי (Ookelaylay)

And LePorello has a Latin translation. teeeffoh! 01:11, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] quote

is it: I could use a dollar, I could use a couple bucks?-- Benol, aka Coach B 16:37, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

It is: It could use a dollar, I I could use bucks of a pair. With a period! --TheThin 16:39, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

You used Machine translation to translate that, The Thing. I can tell.-- Benol, aka Coach B 16:42, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

How do you know? --TheThin 16:43, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
The grammar. It could use a dollar, I I could use bucks of a pair.??? if you translated it yourself, however, it says: I could use a dollar, I could use a couple bucks.-- Benol, aka Coach B 16:50, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
Or, if you MUST use Babelfish, just go "That doesn't make sense. How can I make it make sense?" Benol, you win, plus the "You Stopped the Thing from Bugging Ookelaylay too much" award. --אוקאלייליי (Ookelaylay)

[edit] Latest quote

Okay, Mr. Psychic! That one doesn't count! I was in the process of translating it! --אוקאלייליי (Ookelaylay)

"Uh, Strong Bad, were you just first-basin' it with that piece of loose-leaf?!" Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 20:29, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

And BTW this one was SO easy. THe "Uh" and papel gave it away quick! Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 20:31, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
Yeah. I know. I just love the quote because I say it all the time. "Ben, were you just first basin' it with that pillow?" "Evan, wtf? Were you just first basin' it with the chalkboard", etc. --אוקאלייליי (Ookelaylay)

[edit] Help with Spanish translation

Hey Ookelaylay, I was doin' the copyright thing for the Weird Al Wiki (, and need a Spanish translation. I think it will be easier for people to understand it if it's in their native language. So far, I have:

=Español= The Weird Al Wiki es a GNU Free Document Lisence website, found [ here]. Under the Fair Use policy del Estados Unidos, the wiki es meant as an encyclopedia, as well as an archive on [["Weird Al" Yankovic|Alfred Yankovic's]] work. Tú may usar copyrighted material that do not fit the Fair Use policy standards on the wiki on one condition: *Tu recébo permission de the copyright owner. ==Statements== *Permission es granted para anyone to edit the Weird Al Wiki. *The Weird Al Wiki collects no profit. *The Weird Al Wiki does not distribute copyrighted work.

I didn't do a lot of easy translations, because I don't know the gender. I would REALLY appriciate it. Bluebry 02:39, 4 March 2006 (UTC)

 • I honestly can't help. I lost my dictionary, and I wouldn't trust BabelFish with anymore than a sentence or two for my Quotes. However: "The Weird Al Wiki collects no profit"... "El Wiki de Al Extraño no recojan dinero" (actually The Wiki of Weird Al doesn't collect money.) I also changed 1 thing in your paragraph up there- Tienes to recébo. Sincerely sorry, man. --אוקאלייליי (Ookelaylay)
Ah, thanks anyways. Also,

Num Lock on alt+130=é alt+160=á alt+161=í alt+162=ó alt+164=ñ alt+1=☺ For Windows only. Bluebry 04:21, 4 March 2006 (UTC)

OK, so, E.L. Cool told me that these would be unneeded, because then the people reading it wouldn't understand Al's songs anyways. It's true, so, I guess no translations. Thanks anyways! Beep Bluebry 04:34, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
You're welcome anyway. EL's pretty smart. --אוקאלייליי (Ookelaylay)
Thank you. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 14:56, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
You're welcome, EL. --אוקאלייליי (Ookelaylay)
