Just wanted to say you guys are really great...where else can I see interviews and such and maybe get a photo autograph of the whole gang? --69.178.35.33 00:33, 12 Oct 2004 (MST)

If Melissa is Matt's wife, why isn't her last name Chapman? --—Darklinkskywalker|Talk_|i did this stuff_ 03:44, 17 Aug 2005 (UTC)

She's Mike's wife. And maybe she did, in which case she is now using a pseudonym for the sake of the fans. Or sometimes women don't change their names when they're married. Come to think of it, has she ever been officially referred to as Missy Palmer since her marriage? —BazookaJoe 03:50, 17 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Hmmm... good point... --—Darklinkskywalker|Talk_|i did this stuff_ 03:52, 17 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Then Where did you get the information? Do they live together?--Martin925 21:56, 16 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Mike referred to her as Missy Palmer during the NYU Talk. I think it's reasonable to assume that she didn't change her name after marrying Mike. —mibluvr13dígame 22:14, 16 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Also, she's referred to as "Missy P" in the credits for Halloween Potion-ma-jig. Trey56 05:01, 8 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Where does it say in the flashforward article that she is pregnant?

Like where does it say it because it doesent say anything about her being pregnant.

Well, the article isn't done, and I don't think it will be transcripted, so... yeah. SaltyTalk! 04:32, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
Awesome! I wonder what their kid will be like... Darth Katana X (discussionitem_icon.gif user.gif mail_icon.gif)

The voice of Marzipan is pregnant?! Oh, man! --The 386 My talk 21:09, 4 March 2006 (UTC)

The voice of Marzipan and the voice of Powered by The Cheat. Imagine what this kid'll sound like! Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 21:13, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
Probably something like the alien/monster marzipan. If it's a girl... —NFITC1talk 23:40, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
And if a boy? Maybe Marzipan chirping like Beaker in the Potion toon. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 23:44, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

Maybe they are taking so long to do updates because they have to prepare stuff for their baby, just a theory :)

They've been doing non-stop updates for two months, after taking a well-deserved Decemberween vacation. A kid won't slow them down. They still need to make money, and if they put HR.com to sleep, they will have to get normal full-time jobs. It's not going to greatly affect HR.com at all. —BazookaJoe 22:51, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
No, Qermaq, Mike does PBTC. LePorello / T / C 23:15, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
I think he meant that the kid would be a combination of Marzipan and PbTC, since Missy does one and Mike does the other (and he's the father; she's his wife). — It's dot com 23:17, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
Unless you're insinuating Matt is the father? :) Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 23:18, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
I NEVER SAID THAT! LePorello / T / C 23:20, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

Hey, is Missy still pregant? If she is the mother of Very, Very Little Girl, as concluded on the talk page and, according to BazookaJoe here, in the (currently uncompleted) second commentary of road trip, she should no longer be pregnant. Unless, of course, they're expecting a second child. I'm confused, can someone clear this up for me? – The Chort 19:11, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

"Was" is the operative word. --DorianGray 19:21, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
Ohhh, I see. And I never sent a congratulations card... :( – The Chort 19:23, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
Another clue was that it was reporfted in February 2006. If she were still pregnant in July 2007, that would be a real feat. Simple mathematics and knowledge of how babies are born dictate that this is referring to an already-over pregnancy. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 21:15, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
The reason why I got confused was because this article said that "it was reported in the Flashforward 2006 Seattle - 28 Feb 2006 interview that she was pregnant" yet "she and Mike have a daughter." The poor wording made it sound like she was expecting a second child. – The Chort 17:38, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] New page

Should we start a new page for Mike Jr. or whoever? Maybe it is a bit early, but I think that would be cool.--Jnelson09 20:44, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

Right now? No. —BazookaJoe 20:46, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
Wait at least till (s)he's born! Maybe longer. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 20:52, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
Ok, but I can't stop thinking that this dialogue will happen at some point.

Missy: Hey, guys. Mike Jr.'s talking now. He said, "Put that freakin' baby down."
Mike: No, it was me!
Missy: I know it was, sweetie.
Mike: No, me, Mike Chapman!
Missy: You're Mike Jr., remember?
Mike: Would you put that freakin' baby down?
Missy: There, he said it again. I'm so proud...
Mike: Somebody, can I get some help here? Matt, you wanna talk some sense into this woman?--Jnelson09 23:53, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

Heh, it's the "Mommy! You give the baby all the attention now!" thing you always see in children's shows. :P - Joshua 00:45, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

actually, I've been thinking about this, and I find the idea of a page for the Baby Chap not only unnecessary, but kinda distasteful. We don't have pages on random friends and family members, only those directly connected in some way to the H*R enterprise. If at some point this child grows to an age where they contribute in some fashion to the creative product of the site, even if as little as Little Girk, then's the time to start talking about a page. Until then, let private life be private, and keep the innocent babe out of the wiki, save a brief mention on the parents' pages. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 02:44, 1 July 2006 (UTC)

Great. Now I feel bad.--Jnelson09 14:14, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

Little 'Girk'? -Sb100

So I guess it might be rather extremely safe to say that after two long short years, which would place this in mid 2008, so rather two and a half long short long short long years, there has never ever never been an article written on or about Mike Jr.?

[edit] Guitar

In the DVD commentary for sugarbob she sings with guitar accompaniment. I don't have the DVD, but can we tell if she's playing? Does she play guitar?? Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 00:18, 7 March 2006 (UTC)

There's no hard evidence in that commentary, but it seems likely that she is the one playing. It's my guess that Marzipan mirrors Missy's personality. It's also my guess that she enjoys "tinkering with her guitar" makes up songs like that for the commentary and the CD. —BazookaJoe 00:29, 7 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Photo?

Both seem to be five years ago. Should we take one from The Great World of Sound audition trailer with Missy in it? It's at least three years older. --70.143.29.193 22:25, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit] dead link

[edit] Hair of red, hat of pink?

Not even 5 seconds after I reverted an edit did I finally see that the other caption said "hair of red". This is not a meme I'm familiar with (at least on this wiki), but that wouldn't be the first time. Is there something I'm missing? Where'd the phrasing come from? --Stux 16:07, 23 December 2022 (UTC)

I think that's just a somewhat archaic or poetic way to point out that she has red hair in that picture (as apposed to the blond of the other one). It doesn't seem to be a reference to anything. — It's dot com 16:37, 23 December 2022 (UTC)
Yeah, it's just an archaic phrasing - since the caption on the left said "Missy on the beach", you would have thought the other would say "Missy giving an interview" or something, but since the caption on the right was so out-there, I figured the caption on the left should match...plus if the focus was on her red hair only, it would seem kind of creepy. — 54.183.115.14 (Talk | contribs) 22:35, 28 December 2022 (UTC) (left unsigned)
I like the captions this way — 113.37.226.89 (Talk | contribs) 01:53, 29 December 2022 (UTC) (left unsigned)
It's fun and harmless. - Catjaz63 01:59, 29 December 2022 (UTC)
