[edit] Early chatter

I don't know how to revert, so I'm leaving a note here. The final line of this article was changed, and it strikes me as vaguely trollish. --Mila

I've reverted the edit you mentioned, before I even saw your note here. Thanks. Instructions for reverting pages can be found on the HRWiki:WikiTroll page. -- Tom 16:10, 28 Dec 2004 (MST)

If Homestar drunk 147 glasses of Melonade, and normally eats 147 marshmallows before drinking a glass of melonade, that means Homestar should have eaten 21609 marshmallows before drinking the melonade. The average marshmallow contains 159 calories, therefore Homestar would have got 3435831 calories from the marshmallows. This is of course presuming that Fluffy-Puff marshmallows have the average calorie content. Marshmallow Facts

Has anyone here ever actually tried making their own melonade? If so, how did it turn out? I happen to have half a watermelon handy at this moment, but I don't know the best way to go about juicing it. GG Crono 02:34, 18 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Didja know "melon" can be rearranged to spell "lemon"? Coincidence? I think not. The Coachsmith

Could you explain the joke a little further? I'm not quite getting it. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 07:45, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
Reply to Marshmallow Facts: Hmmm, i just thought of something: if homestar was able to eat 21609 marshmallows before drinking the melonade, he only has to drink 147 glasses of melonade 46.27 times before to win by eating a 1,000,000. Oh wait, I think I stumbled into an inconsistency. This article says that he eats 147 marshmallows before drinking 1 glass of melonade. The trivia I pointed to points to the Fluffy puff commercial, whose transcript says: Oh. Before I drink 147 glasses of melonade, I eat 147 Fluffity Puffity Marshalades. Which to me means that he eats one marshmallow for every glass of melonade he drinks. Oh but he also says Before I drink a tall glass of melonade, I like to eat about 147 Fluffy Puff Marshmallows. So my questions are: 1. which one is correct (is there another instance that supports the latter, and this is just his usual confusion 2. where in the_show#Trivia do they find out that he eats 147 marshmallows every day (or drink 1 or 147 glasses of melonade, which would imply that)? --Stux 16:30, 6 November 2005 (UTC)
also, that's for the Nibblers. Homestar's talking about regular sized Marshmallows. --אוקאלייליי (Ookelaylay)

Actually, I believe Hamstring was messing up his lines when he said, Oh. Before I drink 147 glasses of melonade, I eat 147 Fluffity Puffity Marshalades. However, I don't think H-Star actually eats that many Fluffy Puffs before drinking a cool, refreshing, glass of melonade. Remember, it's an advertisement, he's just reading lines, and presumably, he didn't write those lines. Thus, I think that 'factoid' should be removed from this article.

[edit] recipie

does anyone know a good recipie for melonade? --Coach B 21:16, 29 October 2005 (UTC)

Hey! It just occured to me that Melonade looks ominously(sp?) like Pink Lemonade! I wonder if they make Green Melonade. As for a recipe, my guess would be squeeze the melon, take out the pulp, add sugar? Or well in this case, add salt, citric acid or sour candy... ? Don't forget the ice! --Stux 21:23, 29 October 2005 (UTC)
There was originally a recipe on the page, but it got taken down for good reason. How do we know if it's true? Anyway, this is what it said:
The recipe is as folows:
6 ounces cubed, seeded watermelon
4 ounces sour mix
1 ounce simple syrup
6 ounces ice
Blend all ingredients together; serve in a 14-ounce glass. Garnish with lemon and watermelon wedge. — talk Bubsty edits 00:01, 24 December 2005 (UTC)
What was the good reason?-- Benol, aka Coach B 00:10, 24 December 2005 (UTC)
As I said, "How do we know if it's true?" — talk Bubsty edits 00:22, 24 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Real Melonade

I remember seeing a flavored water flavor called Melonade. It was green. That's the only place I saw it though... Begone Demon 20:43, 8 April 2006 (UTC)

I just plainly think it's pink lemonade. And could someone add the other melonades mentioned in Hremail 7 to this page and food/drinks or drinks? Thanks! —Mas12806 (talk·contribs) 22:18, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

[edit] More Real Melonade, in the Cold One Realm

Buffalo Wild Wings has a "melonade" that is a combination of vodka, some sort of fruity liqueur (I can't remember it at the moment), and lemonade. (Imagine having 147 of those; a friend of mine was feeling a tad lightheaded after having just one yesterday ...) For what it's worth. (Edit: It's also almost exactly the same color as the drink The Cheat is holding.) Spell4yr 07:08, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

Here's the link to the chain's drink menu mentioning it: http://www.buffalowildwings.com/menu/drinks.asp . Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 09:17, 8 June 2006 (UTC) (NOTE: (A note!) This chain no longer mentions this drink. Their drink menu is now at [1].)

[edit] 147

The number 147 has appeared often. Do you guys think it counts as a running gag. Maybe with it's own page. SantanaHomerunner 20:19, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

Nah. It appears rather infrequently. It only ever refers to the number in Fluffy Puff Commercial. All other uses are call-backs to that one time. --DorianGray 20:32, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Gallery of Melonade

Would anyone oppose if I added a gallery of all the melonade listed in Hremail 7, like I did with Credit Cards? MichaelXX2 mail_icon.gif link_icon.gif 22:26, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

Not me. They technically count as Melonade and Drinks. —Mas12806 (talk·contribs) 22:32, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
Maybe the gallery should have its own page, like specially marked. -132.183.138.141 22:49, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
The gallery is done. MichaelXX2 mail_icon.gif link_icon.gif 02:38, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
