I patiently await your generous reward of $1,000,000. Speaking of images, you may also be interested in helping out with DeFender1031's Image Summary Cleanup project. So far, I am the only other user who is giving him a hand with this monumental task. The more people who help out, the sooner it will be completed. Finally, in reference to your personal image, I believe that anime refers to Japanese cartoons whereas manga refers to Japanese comics. Therefore, the latter term is more correct when describing the style of this image. Yours sincerly, 19:50, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

Welcoming

Just to let you know, this edit undermines our standards for welcoming. MichaelXX2 mail_icon.gif link_icon.gif

Ummm, it does not. That was a helpful welcome. Loafing 21:34, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

Thanks!

Thanks for sorting out that pop-up commentary transcript... I had a really hard time telling them apart there. (and sorry about the --mdash; thing, I tried to search-and-replace the -- right after I saved it, and didn't notice I'd messed it up). Green Helmet 05:10, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, after transcribing so many DVD commentaries, I've got their voices pretty much figured out. And I've gotten tired of transcribing DVD commentaries! Haha. Glad to just be proofreading, rather than starting from square one. OptimisticFool 05:14, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

 • WHAT IS TROLLING?
 • DO YOU THINK SBEMAIL 200 DESVERS A PIZZA TROPH?
See HRWiki:Welcoming committee and HRWiki:WikiTroll. And I personally thought sbemail 200 was pretty dang good, despite what others seem to think. In short: Yes, I do think it desvers a pizza troph. OptimisticFool 07:35, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

Sig

OMG! What did you do to it? — Defender1031*Talk 18:54, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

I moved the couch out of the way and there was a pool of blood under it. Weird, huh? OptimisticFool 18:58, 5 October 2008 (UTC)
AUGH!!! Opty... say it isn't so! We'll have to hold a funeral for the couch... Acam30 01:01, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
Funeral? For the couch? No, I don't think it was the couch's blood. I'm counting on the couch coming back after Halloween... Besides, the couch is still alive and well on my user page. You can visit it whenever you'd like. =] OptimisticFool 01:15, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

Hey guys, remember this? You know, I thought about bringing that sig out of retirement, but wanted to go a bit darker this year. Instead, I think people aren't quite getting that that's a pool of blood. But oh well.. once you know, you know.. and that's good enough for me. =] OptimisticFool 15:00, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

Sig Prob

Hey yo Optimus Prime! Why does your name only appear when I click and drag? DEI DAT VMdatvm center\super contra 09:46, 11 October 2008 (UTC)

That's a good question.. and I don't have the answer. Do you see the image okay? Do you have a regular white background, or do you use some kind of skin or something with a different background color? (Anyone else have any ideas?) OptimisticFool 17:32, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
Question 1: Yes. Question 2: I use regular Monobook white. (Question 3: Could it be because I has a Mac or use Firefox?) DEI DAT VMdatvm center\super contra 09:59, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
Dunno. I have a PC and use IE. I s'pose you could try Safari. I wonder if it might have something to do with the fonts on your machine.. let's try this.. can you see any of these?:
Crack Babies: bloodpoolnm7.png OptimisticFool
Papyrus: bloodpoolnm7.png OptimisticFool
Creepy: bloodpoolnm7.png OptimisticFool
Bloody: bloodpoolnm7.png OptimisticFool
Verdana: bloodpoolnm7.png OptimisticFool
No font specified: bloodpoolnm7.png OptimisticFool
Those last two will be identical if you're using the default skin, and some or all of the rest will be identical if you don't have the corresponding fonts installed. All of those fonts are downloadable from fonts (except Verdana which is pretty much universal, anyway) but I don't know how many of them will work on a Mac. Anyway, which of those (if any) do you see? OptimisticFool 14:36, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
Just for the record, I've never had a problem with my Mac and Safari seeing the sig. On the other hand, Crack Babies, Bloody, Creepy, and Verdana all default back to Arial Bold for me. This is why I stick with really common fonts for my sig... wbwolf (t | ed) 15:13, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
I see something for every font except Crack Babiies. So I guess I should download that font. Dot dot dot, and now it works. But for some reason it only shows the bottom half of each letter in the font book. DEI DAT VMdatvm center\super contra 19:31, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
…And now it's invisible (except for click-and-drag) again. I went to Safari and it didn't seem to have this problem, so I guess it's a Firefox promblem. DEI DAT VMdatvm center\super contra 22:48, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
Oh well. When you see a pool of blood, just think of me. Okay, I don't know what that means.. OptimisticFool 23:21, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

I think I'm going to cry...

Everyone forgot my wikiversary! (Including me!) On 27 September 2007 I joined this fine wiki; it's been a year.. what do I win? =] OptimisticFool 19:37, 8 October 2008 (UTC)

I didn't win anything either. BBG 20:04, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
Congraturations! You win another year of looking forward to your wikiversary ;-) Loafing 20:09, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
Hmm, no one remembered our WikiDay either. Well, happy fashionably late wikiversary anyway! Homestar-Winner (talk) 00:26, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

User Page

Thanks for fixing my user page! do you know what happened? The Knights Who Say Ni 00:51, 11 October 2008 (UTC)

Yep, in three of your userboxes you had two deals but only one .. so, yeah.. all I had to do was add another for each of those three userboxes. OptimisticFool 00:55, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
what i meant to say was: thanks, bubs OptimisticFool! how'd you get rid of the vi- wait, why do you have a shotgun? what'd you do? where's my compy? The Knights Who Say Ni 00:51, 11 October 2008 (UTC) anyway, that caused the menu on the left side to be all crazy too? i can understand why the userboxes were broken, but not the menu on the left side. and what exactly is that in your new signature? The Knights Who Say Ni 01:17, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
It's the blood pool from the Axe-Gun: Legends of the Brain-Outener poster in rated. OptimisticFool 01:23, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
Are you going to change your sig pic back after halloween? 'Cause i don't want to start have to tell people to have a seat in the Opti Fool's blood pool. Pacoman 11:53, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

Fonts and Fonts by Toon

I just want to drop a note to commend you on the great work you've done maintaining the fonts pages. I've used them both as a reference many times recently. Keep it up, and keep on tranglin'! — It's dot com 16:18, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

Switch back

Hey there Opti. How do I switch back to my old sig? The purty pink one? Thanks. Acam30 21:47, 1 November 2008 (UTC)

All done. (Why is this on Opti's page?) — Defender1031*Talk 21:56, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
Thanks Deffy! I put it here 'cause I didn't where else to put it... you were bound to find it anyway oh wiki-master. Acam30 22:18, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
Hi, guys. Acam30, I see you're back to pink there, DeFender's got his red and blue gradient again, and I've got my couch. All's right with the world. =] OptimisticFool 22:22, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
Acam, your own talk would probably be better, and there's no need to call me "wiki-master". "Supreme Overlord Deffy" will do just fine. ;) Opti, sorry bout the "Opty" thing... silly me. — Defender1031*Talk 22:30, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
Aww but Opti... what happened to your font? I like the old one.Acam30 22:34, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
Tough. Ha ha. Do you have the font Papyrus installed? That's my preferred font. This is my order of preference: Papyrus, Biondi, Copperplate Gothic Bold, Copperplate Gothic Light, and Verdana as shown below:

You won't see them all for what they are unless you have the right fonts installed.. (See them in all their glory here.) OptimisticFool 22:49, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
No I see 'em. We have the same font, remember? I was wondering what happened to it. Acam30 02:15, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

Heroes

You like it too? It is awesome! Raiku 02:51, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

DVD commentary

Can you finish transcribing the DVD commentaries for Date Nite and Let Us Give Tanks!, please? MHarrington 05:42, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

Sorry, Bro.. I'm just too busy. OptimisticFool 22:10, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
Well, can you do it when you have the time? MHarrington 16:35, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

An image challeeenge!

All right, I was browsing around H*R, and I thought it'd be cool if there was an image of Strong Bad and The Cheat carrying that huge sub in fan club. So... a million dollars, eh? AwkwardFire 22:58, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

There you go. And the million dollars is in the mail (allow 4 to 6 weeks for delivery).. =] OptimisticFool 22:10, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
Score! That's soooo awesome! 72.155.3.99 03:11, 27 December 2008 (UTC) (AwkwardFire is too lazy to sign in...)

Articles Requiring Images and Other Things.

Dear OptimisticFool, here is a list of articles that currently require images:
