This needs some editing for spelling, grammar and removing the speculative parts (how do we know which way is north? etc...). I'm also curious why it's necessary to point out that all the mice are real mice. No. This article does not describe TBC's house. It describes their workplace, which is described thus: "Where we work is, is pretty, you know, we work in a kind of a depressing strip mall which is always good." (See Georgia Tech - 26 Apr 2007) But I don't know what name to give this article. OptimisticFool 19:49, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

1st...yes, we know the mice are real (probably). We don't need to point that out.
2nd...If we do decide to keep it, rename to "The Brothers Chaps' Office" or something of the sort.
3rd...Should we keep it at all? I just think TBC (at least, I would) find it a lil' bit creepy that people are noting everything in their office space.
Just for the record, I think we might as well keep it (and possibly rename), because Videlectrix Office got one, and it's kind of in the same realm as this (plus, the VX Office is part of TBC's office). But, we probably don't need to note everything on their desk, every band we can ID from the sound booth bulletin board (we don't have that right now, but there's a pretty good chance someone will find the time to do it). I propose (unless we agree to delete it) that we at least move this to "The Brothers Chaps' Office". Mas, you still didn't seem to look close enough at OF's post earlier. I'm thinking it's their house, but this is a Community here on the Wiki, we should have different opinions sometimes and maybe even arguments. I propose we revert the title to "The Brothers Chaps Workplace", until or unless one of us finds any more information. How does that sound? He tagged it for deletion so he could move the original page there. Moving an article to a new name is the way to go, as it preserves the article's history. Your approach of creating a new copy of the article would leave us with two versions of it! Also, please note that he then decided to move the article to Office instead of Workplace, as this is actually what was discussed here on the talk page (and also more appropriate). He also redirected the "workplace" article to the new one to make sure there is really only one copy. In conclusion: if an article is to be renamed, moving it is the way to go. And never move an article to a new name before it's been discussed properly on a talk page and a consensus has been reached. Loafing 22:42, 7 October 2008 (UTC)

I just trimmed some of the article down, and added some extra info about the office as well. Do you think we should still add some of the more descriptive details about the office (such as computers' actual names and companies from whence they came, extra prop info, etc.)? In this installment of Eric Conveys an Emotion, there are some different camera angles that might help in describing this place. There even seems to be a storage room(?) (complete with mini fridge and microwave) that I haven't seen anywhere else. OptimisticFool 00:05, 8 October 2008 (UTC)

Why doesen't the Emotion Eric Interview have a page on the Wiki? Someone create it please, and put the page in the Interviews page. And when doing, upload all images from emotioneric.com/ae/?adv=theinterview to the Wiki so they can be posted on the page, and then we can use some of those images (mainly the storage room closet image), on this page. —Mas12806 (talk·contribs) 05:03, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Current status - a different office?

I don't think TBC use this workspace anymore. In general I am referencing the many photos from the Eric interview to see what the rooms looked like. The last "confirmed sighting" in the office that I can find is prior to 2010:

• Eric Conveys an Emotion interview (early 2008)
• Workin' on the Game (May 2008)
• Potentially Sbemailiarized! (March 2009) - the brief live-action segment might be in the office though I don't recognize the particular room; it could also be in one of their homes.

As of 2014, there are a few things that make me suspect that at some point they stopped renting this office:

• The Gizmodo interview says that Matt moved out to Los Angeles around 2011-2014 before returning to Georgia (he also mentioned this in a 2014 interview); it is likely Mike would not feel the need to continue paying for a multi-room office if he would be the solo occupant (especially since the site was on hiatus).
• The Vox interview includes a photo of TBC at work recording music and voice. Although the picture itself is likely staged the location seems to be a real workspace - but notably it is not the sound room as seen in Sample of Style.
• The Screenland profile provides the clearest visual of this space (around 3:42).

Several recent indoor sightings seem to have this same office. It can be identified by the beige wall color, gray carpet, wooden trim, and white ceiling; sometimes a rust-colored curtain can be seen.

• A video of "the Videlectrix office" shows off the clearest view of the workspace.
• Decemberween Dangeresque - notably, when Dangeresque jumps up to pound the table you can see the room has the same ceiling details as that Vox photo.

If I am missing anything that shows they still are at the same place (or more definite confirmation that they moved) please do share! But, assuming TBC are working out of a new office, what would be the best way to address this? Make a new article and move this to "Prior Office of The Brothers Chaps"? Make the current article a subsection under "Prior Office" and add a new section detailing the new location? -- Bleu Ninja 19:45, 7 October 2021 (UTC)
