"Welcome to oblivion, Danger-skew."
He's really good at trap doors.

From his Dangeresque: The Roomisode Triungulate Steam trading card:

"Diamonocle is most likely the ultra-rich Baron of a cool castle lair somewhere. Or a villa? What's a chateau? Are those cool? Anyways, he's really good at trap doors. He wears a solid gold neck brace since Dangeresque dropped a train full of anvils on him. Sometimes, maybe onetimes, he deviously pets an animal."

Baron Darin Diamonocle is a villainous character in the Dangeresque series, portrayed by Bubs wearing a monocle. "Diamonocle" is a portmanteau of diabolical and monocle.

Diamonocle first appears, unnamed, as the chief antagonist of Dangeresque 2: This Time, It's Not Dangeresque 1. One of his evildoings includes dropping a Heavy Lourde on Dangeresque (a stunt performed by Strong Sad). In keeping with the stereotypical evil genius with a pet cat (such as Ernst Stavro Blofeld from James Bond), he is seen holding The Cheat.

In Dangeresque 3: The Criminal Projective, Diamonocle is seen behind bars at Brainblow City Prison. The incarcerated life has helped reformed Diamonocle, who claims that "getting shivved repeatedly in the yard really puts things in perspective", he willingly gives information to Dangeresque so that the hero could rescue Cutesy Buttons. It is further revealed that Diamonocle had forced Dangeresque to eat a bag of "stale, three month old, moldy, ranch flavored" potato chips. In response, Dangeresque framed Diamonocle for endangered puppy trafficking and the murder of several presidents, leading to his arrest.

One of the odd features of his character is his phonetic pronunciation of other characters' names; for instance, calling Dangeresque "Danger-skew" (misinterpreting "Danger-esque" as "Dangers-que") or Perducci "Per-ducky". It is unclear if this is an intentional character quirk or simply poor acting on Bubs's part.

In the Steam Trading Cards for Dangeresque: The Roomisode Triungulate, a puppet Diamonocle is depicted with a coif of white hair (similar to Bubs's appearance in hygiene) and a gold neckbrace due to Dangeresque dropping a train full of anvils on him.

[edit] Other Bubs roles

"Or did you?"

Shark-Tooth Bubs appears as a villain at the end of Dangeresque: Puppet Squad. Instead of a monocle, this character wears a cowboy hat and a mustache. It is heavily implied that he may have been the true culprit who stole Dangeresque's curly fries.

In Dangeresque Roomisode 3: Keep My Enemies, Loser, a silhouetted character portrayed by Bubs attempts to murder Perducci with a sniper rifle. Whether this is meant to be Diamonocle, the previously seen unnamed bad guy, or an entirely new character is not clarified.
