The Homestar Runner body of work introduces many made-up words and names ending in a long o. Some of these are derived from constructions in Romance languages such as Italian and Spanish. Others are common in marketing jargon, like the toy company Wham-O.
Appearances
- In Search of the Yello Dello — The most rare and beautiful bird is called the Yello Dello.
- Email depressio — Strong Bad shares that Strong Sad's email address is depressio.
- Email island — Homestar (seemingly spontaneously) refers to Strong Bad as "Stinko-man". This would later come to be the name of Strong Bad's 20X6 counterpart.
- Homestar Presents: Presents — Homestar calls Strong Bad "Strong-o Bad-o".
- Cheat Commandos...O's — The episode is a commercial for a cereal, which ironically is not in the shape of an O. The announcer later encourages the viewer to try the cereal with Fluffy Puff Marshmallows... os.
- Senor Mortgage — Senor Cardgage's catchphrase is "No Probalo!", a variant of the mangled Spanish "No Problem-o".
- Email lady fan — Homestar urges Strong Bad to exercise his buttweesimo.
- Email rough copy — After Strong Bad and The Cheat shut down Homestar's flavored water business, Homestar turns to selling Malinko Drinko, named after the email's sender, with the tag line "Drinko some Malinko"!
