Apparently, this "one-off character" has his own comic strip now. Since we have a page on Mellow Mushroom, which is unrelated to the H*R universe as well, should we have an article for the comic strip? -- Super Martyo boing! 02:29, 25 April 2010 (UTC)

Actually, I agree. I did not know of this web comic until a month ago, but I realize it was regularly updated for a while. Seeing how it is obscure, we should really get an article on it. Both a Chapman and Zobel made it, so why not have it? It can't hurt.--Jellote wuz here 03:27, 25 April 2010 (UTC)

In fact, I think that Ron is more deserving of an article than Mellow Mushroom, because it's frequently updated by Matt and Craig. It could list the characters, and the main plot. Not go into very deep detail about it, just the general overview. StrongAwesome 03:38, 25 April 2010 (UTC)

I disagree. Since you brought up MM, please read Talk:Mellow Mushroom#Deletion. As you can see, the main argument for keeping it, is that importance it had in relation to Homestar Runner. The voices, the references, and so on. While being very funny in itself, Ron Planet doesn't bear any similarities to Homestar, as far as I can see. In the last comic there's a reference Mable in the commentary, which might count, but it's a stretch. If you can find more references to our wiki's topic, then an article about Ron Planet will look more promising. I think it is related. The main character is from Homestar Runner, so that's got to count for something. Plus, it looks like this is the source for Italian Space jokes in comic 014. And 017 is in the style of Teen Girl Squad. And 019 is a parallel with Homestar's line in Weclome Back. I agree. Ron Planet is part of the Homestar Runner universe, and now that we have something to say about him this page deserves to be an article and not just a redirect. We don't have to go overboard; the article doesn't have to be overly detailed or anything, but it should be an article. — It's dot com 20:09, 25 April 2010 (UTC)

I still don't think it's part of the Homestar Runner universe, but after re-reading some of the comics, I can see the influences. Everything is kind of a stretch, and I could argue that it's TBC's "style", but that should be discussed after an actual page is made.
