[edit] Who Buys The Drinks?
Homestar and the bags seem to not be important to the Brothers Strong's scheme: Bubs donated the drinks and then showed up after Homestar saw him.
Donated? I think you'll find Homestar bought the drinks, although it looks as if no money was exchanged, but that's just because everything seems free when bought from Bubs'. Well, that's how it looked to me... I suppose the above surreal suggestion could still be funny... in a way... --195.92.67.74 17:49, 27 Nov 2004 (MST)
- I kinda doubt Bubs would ever really donate anything. He's more stingy than Moe (of Moe's Tavern on the Simpsons). - furrykef (Talk at me) 22:10, 27 May 2005 (UTC)
- Quoting Strong Bad (to Bubs): "Thanks for donating these drinks to our cause!" Also, no money is ever shown changing hands (okay, Homestar doesn't have visible hands, but you know what I mean). But the cool guys' plan makes no sense—Strong Bad obviously had set something up with Bubs ahead of Homestar's involvement, and then later Bubs arrives at the stick. Why not eliminate the bags altogether and just have Bubs bring the drinks over? What was Homestar's role supposed to be? I'm losing sleep over this. — It's dot com 09:18, 23 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Sewiously. But, I guess Homestar's involvement was to make it funny. And because they were thirsty. The Cheat, SB, and strong Mad have been known to do weird things when hungry. (example- The Jolly Dumple), maybe the same can be said about being thirsty.Ookelaylay 19:49, 2 Jul 2005 (UTC)
- I'm gonna have to agree with Ukulele here, SB, SM, & Teh C seem to do alot of things to/with Homestar merely for their enjoyment and usually for no obvious reason. —Supuhstar* 02:01, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
- I'm gonna have to agree with this guy above me. Maybe they did this just to embarass Homestar or waste his time. Maybe they shouldn't have let him see the bag, maybe they were planning on making him wonder what was in it.

[edit] When Is An Email Not An Email?
How is this short related to Strong Bad Email? The connection is not very obvious, unless you count the fact that it has Strong Bad in it, but lots of other toons have Strong Bad in them too. Kamek 07:49, 11 Jan 2005 (MST)
This one came on a monday when there was supposed to be an email, if I'm correct. It's sort of not-an-email email. -- AgentSeethroo 08:40, 11 Jan 2005 (MST)
This toon was first linked on the email menu with a Post-it note that said "looking at a thing in a bag". So it was sort of a pseudo-email. DG 11:23, 11 Jan 2005 (MST)
Not-So-Light Orange-and-Pink-fruitDark Grapefruit here has a point. This, as well as Teen Girl Squad 4, was featured on Denny's Menus. —Supuhstar* 02:24, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] the greatest guy
i'm far too lazy to look it up, but i believe the "greatest guy" reference goes abck to an early strongbad quote. after executing some prank, strong bad sasy "truly, i am the greatest guy," or some such.
[edit] T!T-V!
The page title (And TV) saying "T!T-V!Watch the TV show!" seems to me to be a reference to a popular cheer that goes "G!G-O!Go team Go!"Does it seem to be a reference to y'all?Ookelaylay 15:36, 7 Jul 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Another Goof
Coincidentally, this happens during 5 of the 7 frames that the stick is out of place. The fillet that is usually on the corners of the cartoons made by TBC is not on the side of the black sweeping line that the stick is also on. In other words, during the scene change, the black outline bar is filleted (like it should be) on the basement side of the change, but not the field side. —Supuhstar*
[edit] Commentary Commentary
I believe that the line from the commentary is a reference to Arrested Development, because prior to this line, Matt says, "It spells juice," which is a quote from Arrested Development. In another episode, the same character says, "This party is going to be off the hook," which is what Mike says. Regardless, I think it really sucks that you reverted my addition in nano-seconds. Thanks a lot, dude. Sallysitwell
- Well, the rest of that information was not provided. If it had been worded to include all of that, i wouldn't have just thought it was a common phrase. Feel free to put it back (preferable modified to reflect the whole reference), and sorry for the confusion. — Defender1031*Talk 03:21, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
- Sally: What episodes are you referring to? I can't seem to find those quotes in the context of AD. — It's dot com 04:29, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Almost makes the drinks not worth it...
Strong Bad said a similar line at the end of a toon once before, in Secret Recipes, could this be considered an inside reference?
- Secret recipes came later than Lookin. Flicky1991 13:15, 19 September 2009 (UTC)
- Considering that I have no idea what line you are talking about, and the fact that Flicky pointed out, I say case closed.--Jellote wuz here 13:23, 19 September 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Splash Splash?
I have taken notice that when The Cheat and Strong Mad walk off the screen, the dirks they are holding stays in the cup, and does not move, like liquids should. Strong mad is actually moving his hand back and forth, so you expect to see it slash, or do something like that. Jibblejibblejibble
- It's a flash cartoon and TBC are not pedantic enough to write an entire physics engine in flash just so liquids will spill right. — Defender1031*Talk 22:50, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
[edit] Potential glitch
I noticed while watching the flash file that when Homestar bends over to pick up The Cheat's bag, a third foot shows up behind the black for a few frames. Is this worth noting? The Knights Who Say Ni 04:48, 23 November 2014 (UTC)
- Not if it's behind the black, no. — Defender1031*Talk 06:56, 23 November 2014 (UTC)
