Strong Bad's relationship with Bubs is a mix of numerous feelings. More often than not, they get along well. Many times, Bubs does business with Strong Bad (and vice-versa), sometimes in dishonest ways. However, there have been many times when these two have been in conflict with each other.

Strong Bad later says that Strong Sad could do better in fixing the concession stand with one arm behind his back and a bag over his head, which Bubs states as "ignorant, mean, and only mostly true".
  • Strong Badia the Free — In extended play, Bubs's business is slumping due to overstocking on "Death to King Strong Bad" souvenirs.
