Generic pages like running gag and Easter egg are generally only linked to here when we're talking about runnning gags or Easter eggs in general... when we're talking about a specific gag or egg, we leave those links out, 'cause otherwise it'd just be link overload... too many links can sometimes be less helpful than not enough. --phlip TC 13:09, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

Show Preview

Just a tip for future reference for when you're messing with your user page: when you're editing, there is a "Show preview" button next to the "Save page" button – if you use that, you can see what you've changed without saving the page, which is easier than saving and clicking "edit" again, and it doesn't fill up Recent changes with your edits. --phlip TC 23:45, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

Please, use Show Preview when you're editing pages... it's much harder to keep track of the changes to the wiki when there's 10 edits in a row on the same page, all by the same person, tweaking the formatting in ways that would be much easier done with Show Preview. --phlip TC 12:55, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

Editing others' userpages

You have been told before, I believe, not to edit others' userpages, especially not to add disparaging language to them. Doing so is considered vandalism. Don't do it again, or you may be blocked from editing. Heimstern Läufer 20:22, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

Going through your edits, I see that you have added "I suck" three times to user pages of other users. This is not acceptable. You need to learn to a) not take everything so personal and b) use talk pages to tell others in a civilized manner about your grievances. I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate it if someone defaced your user page. I also urge you to apologize to DeFender and Trey. Loafing 22:19, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
