"It's", with the apostrophe, is always short for "it is". If "it is" does not make sense, the correct spelling is "its". You wouldn't say "Strong Bad's Computer Exceeding '''It Is''' Technical Specifications", would you? --{{User:Jay/sig}} 02:23, 9 February 2012 (UTC)

Your test

Thanks for experimenting with the Homestar Runner Wiki. Your test (hi! this text is not weird. do you have shoes on??) worked, and has now been reverted or removed. Please use HRWiki:Sandbox for any other tests you want to do, since testing in articles will normally be reverted quickly. Please see the Help:Editing page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our resource. Thanks. Heimstern Läufer 02:36, 1 May 2010 (UTC)

Hey Gfdgsgxgzgdrc, you created that page again. Please use the sandbox for your tests and don't create that page again. Thanks. Loafing 18:20, 1 May 2010 (UTC)

Removing links and templates

Hello there, Unpronounceable Name. Please do not remove links or templates from pages without a reason. You've been reverted three times today because of this behavior. Here, here and here. I also noticed that you never use the edit summary. I would be really easy for us to know the reason why you made those edits if you used a summary. If you want, there is an option in your preferences to notify you when you are about to save a page without using the summary box. Thank you, Elcool (talk)(contribs) 18:51, 29 May 2010 (UTC)

Signature template

Your signature template has already been moved to User:Gfdgsgxgzgdrc/sig once – stop creating it at Template:gf-sig. Signatures belong in your userspace, not in the main template namespace. To use the template in its current location, you can set your signature to {{User:Gfdgsgxgzgdrc/sig}}. Also, the yellow text on the word "Yay" is very hard to read – please consider using a darker colour. --phlip TC 14:40, 8 June 2010 (UTC)

Heads up, I just reverted all that Easter egg stuff with your sig. It went against our user space policy. — It's dot com 21:38, 13 June 2010 (UTC)

bit o help there?

Sup Gfdgsgxgzgdrc, Im here to give you a couple pointers on a few things.
1. Span Tags: Whenever you change the <span style="color:blue;">Color of words. You have to end it with a</span>, otherwise, it'll keep going down the page with that color. If you have more than one span tags, you have to close each of them with a </span>, not just a single tag.

2. Templates you keep using: You also seem to be using unneeded templates. IE: Edit Remove, headline, and some maner of sig type deal.

This one, not that one. We got that? Now gimmie five.

3. Show Preview: I've that you have made several consecutive edits to the same page. I'd like to point out the Show Preview button. It's right next to the Save Page button when you edit. You should use it whenever you are making a lot of experimental edits, for example when you are trying to get formatting right, or checking to se if the above templates exist. Using the Show Preview button is quicker and easier than saving and clicking "edit" again, and will keep recent changes and page histories from being flooded.

That's all that I've noticed, but if there's anything thing else, anything at all, please contact me on my talk page. Keep on tranglin -cash money tc 23:13, 10 June 2010 (UTC)

Block warning

Do you really not get what Sbemail 136 Alternate Versions is? The Brothers Chaps wrote it. It's not fanstuff. You've been making a lot of edits and templates lately that don't fit on this wiki. I'm sorry the fanstuff wiki was closed out from under you, but that doesn't mean that the kind of edits that were tolerated there are appropriate here. If you're going to disrupt this wiki, you will be blocked from editing. — It's dot com 01:16, 14 June 2010 (UTC)

oh sorry Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 01:17, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
Please don't edit carelessly like you tend to, especially on templates. Because templates are used on lots of pages all over the wiki, you should not change them unless you have consensus to do so. In general, your editing seems to be treating this whole wiki as a Sandbox. It's not. It's getting tiring to have to clean up after you. Please stop. Heimstern Läufer 00:50, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
Since apparently you're not getting it and I once again had to clean up after you, I've blocked your account for a week. When you come back, you've got to quit treating this wiki like your personal playground, or you're going to end up blocked indefinitely. Heimstern Läufer 01:02, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

you don't need to.

You can type my name by typing {{gf}} or you can call me "gf". -- Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 00:56, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

Um, no. We can't. That results in all types of broken links that stink up pages.Template:gf is the result, and that is rather ugly to appear all over. And now your page is full of that. You might want to get rid of those, but that's just me.--Jellote wuz here 00:39, 25 June 2010 (UTC)

Editing templates

Gfdgsgxgzgdrc, you have a habit of making strange and often detrimental edits to templates. Templates are used in many places throughout the wiki, so any edit to them can have far-reaching effects. Therefore, please do not edit templates without first gaining consensus for your change (even then, it's best to allow a user with more experience to make the change). I am quite serious about this, as your edits to templates are proving disruptive. Heimstern Läufer 00:29, 27 June 2010 (UTC)

Please listen to Heimstern. These edits are exactly the type he meant. Please don't edit templates before you have discussed the changes on the template's talk page. Loafing 06:14, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
You still aren't listening. I'm just going to have to block you if you don't quit editing templates, so please stop. Heimstern Läufer 15:19, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Two problems with your signiture

I hate to say this, but what your signiture currently is does not fit our requirements. First, your sig image is too large in file size. Second, your signiture clutters pages and makes the navigation box all strange. It creates a new subheading, so every time you sign we get a new part in the nav box. See here for a good example. Try to fix that.--Jellote wuz here 22:16, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

User page

Hello. You only get one user page, not links to three halves of one. Laters. — It's dot com 15:49, 8 July 2010 (UTC)

Image format

Please upload screenshots of Flash animations as lossless PNG files instead of lossy JPEG files. See HRWiki:Image use policy for further information. Thank you, LobStoR 16:09, 22 May 2011 (UTC)

Would you also be so kind as to re-upload File:onion_bubs_in_3d.jpg in PNG format? Please and thanks. Soiled Bargains (talk|ctrb) 17:48, 22 May 2011 (UTC)

German Subtitles

Hi Gfdgsgxgzgdrc, I saw you created Subtitles:ccdo7b/de. As a native German speaker it is obvious to me that you used an automatic translation tool. The result is very poor and sometimes nonsensical. Please do not use translation tools when creating subtitles (see HRWiki:Subtitles#Translating_Subtitles). I will add a fixtranslation tag and also remove the paginprogress tag because you obviously have stopped working on it. Thanks for understanding,  Loafing 00:35, 29 May 2011 (UTC)

How do i create subtitles if i don't know any languages? -- Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 15:09, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
You, uh... don't. — It's dot com 16:07, 13 June 2011 (UTC)

Personal Images

I've seen you've been putting some of your personal images up for deletion. Thanks for cutting back in order to follow our policy of two images per person! There's an eaiser way to put your images and user space pages up for deletion, though. Just put {{delete}} on top of the page. This is preferable to putting the notice on the talk page; it's more noticeable by the sysops and administrators who will delete it for you. Take care, G-Man. Soiled Bargains (talk|ctrb) 20:01, 30 May 2011 (UTC)

Please note, you still are using three personal images. ColdReactive 12:06, 7 July 2011 (UTC)
It's going to be a year soon, and you still haven't removed one personal image. In addition, you have one too many sig pics. Yes, your qotw page still counts as a personal page. ColdReactive 17:03, 4 January 2012 (UTC)
ColdReactive - it looks like Gfdgsgxgzgdrc's "my sig pic.png" does not still exist on this wiki. His sig pictures are currently within policy. You are correct about the three personal images though. The Knights Who Say Ni 18:22, 4 January 2012 (UTC)

Outdated Conversations

Hey Gfdgsgxgzgdrc; just thought you should know that it is generally advised not to reply to conversations that are more than a couple months old unless you have an argument of some kind to bring up. People are on the ball around here, and things are generally taken care of pretty quickly. basically, pay more attention to the timestamps. if there isn't one, look around the talk post for others that are logically nearby. If the talk post was added in 2006, the discussion is probably dead by now. Also, if you want to put something on the talk page of a user who hasn't been here in a while, on the left side of the screen, right under the search box is a "toolbox" menu. you can click on "User contributions" in that menu and see how long ago the most recent date was. If they haven't been here in a couple years, maybe refrain from putting anything on their talk page. These are just basic guidelines to follow to keep the wiki running more smoothly. The Knights Who Say Ni 05:17, 4 June 2011 (UTC)

You did it again. That conversation is over six years old, and long dead. As the Knights said, it's not advised to reply to these. It's a simple matter to check how old a conversation is, and it's all explained in the message above this. free 15:29, 8 June 2011 (UTC)

April Fools'

Regarding your recent edit to the Main talk page, it's not as bad of an idea imo as the follow-up edit would suggest. The problem with your idea this time is the fact that you suggested it in the first place. If you spend much time on the forum, it's just like proposed Halloween costumes: suggesting one practically eliminates any chance of it ever being used on the site. It removes the element of surprise. Additionally, as far as i'm aware, the bureaucrats aren't really looking for suggestions, and even if they were, they would not want the suggestions to be publicly announced for the same reason. However, if you believe that it is a great April Fools' Day prank, you are more than welcome to replace your user page with it when the time comes. Havin' a little trouble...

I'm having a little trouble logging in on the HRWiki Forum. Can you help? (PS: Can somebody make a censored version of the "Swears" page?) Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 14:45, 28 January 2012 (UTC)

You didn't give any details about what kind of problem you're having, what steps you're taking, what error messages you're getting, or anything. (PS: You've got to be kidding.) — It's dot com 20:26, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
Well, I click "log in" and type my username in the username box (Username: Gfdgsgxgzgdrc) and my password (Not gonna tell ya what it is) and I get the error message: "You have specified an incorrect username. Please check your username and try again. If you continue to have problems please contact the Board Administrator." but I didn't type an incorrect password. What's the probalo? Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 21:42, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
That's not the error I get. It tells me that I have the wrong password (obviously), but it says the username is fine. Try clearing your cookies. — It's dot com 04:12, 29 January 2012 (UTC)
