Merging with Strong Mad

I feel that this article's information could be sufficiently covered in a paragraph on Strong Mad's article. I don't think it needs it's own page. — Lapper (talk) 17:33, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

I think it's happened enough times to count as a running gag. Foods used as phones has only happened twice, but it hasn't been deleted.--Jnelson09 17:38, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

I could go either way. I'm-a wait for more opinions. --DorianGray
Hm. That should probably be deleted, too. — Lapper (talk) 18:14, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

I think this is a running gag. I think it has enough happenings, because Cinnamon has 5 occurences, Cool Shades has 6 occurences, and Strong Sad's Severed Head has 5 occurences. There are other running gags that have to do with certain characters, and they are good enough to have their own page. I think this deserves its own page. --minibaseball.png Bkmlb(talk to me·stuff I did) 18:32, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

Eh, this seems worth its own page to me. Heimstern Läufer 20:12, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
Is it possible to start up a STUA? --Mario2.PNG Super Martyo boing! 20:22, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
What's a STUA?--Jnelson09 00:13, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
Select The Usable Articles. --Mario2.PNG Super Martyo boing! 02:05, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
what's a Select The Usable Articles? Loafing 02:08, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
We currently have STUFF, Select the Usable Fun Facts. He's suggesting with have the same thing but for articles. SaltyTalk! 02:42, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
I think this article, along with many other examples, show that the current way of working through what articles should exist and under what heading and with what information works pretty well. I can think of many pages which I have watched building and debate go on for a good amount of time before they found their place within the wiki. I don't think it's as simple as a "STUA" and a vote. Ilko Skevüld's Teh C 02:51, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
Also, STUA doesn't spell anything. Unless you make it Select The Usable Articles, Redirects, and Things. Or something like that. --DorianGray
Okayokayokaywaitwaitwaitwait! All of us over here at the Talk:Homestar's Fashion Sense page were thinking the exact same thing. If you want to see that for ideas, feel free. This should be like the guestbooks mass disscussion where we all decide on a new policy. These kinds of articles happen way too often to overlook. -Brightstar Shiner 19:49, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
What do you mean by "these kinds of articles?" -Ilko Skevüld's Teh C 03:15, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
The kinds of articles whose worthiness to stand alone and not be merged with something or deleted is debatable. -Brightstar Shiner 20:04, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Moving To "Eating Inedible Objects"

Somehow the KoT comes to mind when I hear "eating inedible objects". I suggest that we include the guy on this page, or otherwise, we'll probably get a separate article for him, if we choose to keept this one. And by the way, while I think this list is boring, it's a bona fide running gag. Loafing 18:47, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

Yes, I agree. Not only does the KoT eat inedible objects, he eats edible objects that are meant specifically for something besides eating (lard, to name one). --Mario2.PNG Super Martyo boing! 20:21, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
Eating Inedible Objects is a bad name (as if they are eaten they are edible), but the idea that non-food objects are eaten by characters (SM/KOT) is a real running gag. Although some of the KOT's choices are "food" that are just disgusting (ie: Lard). Strong Mad specifically eats a great number of non-food items that he treats as real grub. So my current view is that this is a Stong Mad trait that is shared to some extent by the KOT (simular to Stong Bad traits that other characters occasionally share), thus I (personally)would keep it as a "Strong Mad eating. . ." page with a KOT subsection. (otherwise a more generic page is needed) - Ilko Skevüld's Teh C 21:45, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
If we call it "Strong Mad doing something" we should not then have The KOT doing stuff included, as it's off the topic. I suggest renaming the page "Eating Unusual Items" or the like (putting the whole "inedible" problem behind us as a result) and include any character eating unusual items, including Homestar eating a light globe sandwich in theme song, as an example. Big enough to not be a stub?

I think that there's enough information on the page for this to be de-stubbed. Xifihas 20:06, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

Giant leaf

In the "Unnatural", Homestar is caring around a giant leaf with bite marks taken out of it. Should this be added?

Hmm... maybe not, leaves technically can be food. Dr. Clash 02:38, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

==19 Wheels and Rubber Cement== I recall in Ever and More we join the group as Coach Z is revealing a recipe to Strongsad ... one that includes a 19-wheeled tricycle and begins to describe another that requires a pound of rubber cement ... Figure this kinda falls under the Non-Food category, yes? --Cardgage Forty Twone 10:38, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
