you just put an unsigned template on a page a minute ago. I am unfamiliar with this template. Is it supposed to say {{{2}}} in the middle?

I just realized that the date shouldn't be automatic. You're supposed to look it up in the page history so that it matches the anonymous edit. — It's dot com 03:30, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
- Sounds like too much work, especially when you have to work so quickly as to avoid a darn edit conflict (which are the bane of my existance). Maybe annony's shouldn't get the beneift of a pretty looking date I R F 03:39, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
- Well, I would think this template would often be applied by gnomes who come along days or even weeks after the original conversation. Since they're already looking in the history to find out who said what, attaching the correct timestamp becomes an easy matter. — It's dot com 03:44, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
