I she be edit
Hello Lux Acerbus, I see that you have made several consecutive edits to the same page. I want to point out the Show Preview button. It's right next to the Save Page button when you edit. You should use it whenever you are making a lot of experimental edits, for example when you are trying to get formatting right. Using the Show Preview button is quicker and easier than saving and clicking "edit" again, and will keep recent changes and page histories from being flooded. Thanks,
Also, be aware that if his head turns, we may not see that from the back as all we'll see is red. So if the face moves in the reflection, the back of the head will just be red.

- My apologies if I'm using this page incorrectly; I'm going to check out the help page as soon as I've got time.
- I'll agree with you that the second time the "goof" appeared (with Strong Bad's head turning) his head turning in the foreground shouldn't have been noticeable, but the second time the effect in the reflection appeared (as far as I could tell) to change the shape of Strong Bad's head, with the lines forming the left and right outlines of his head slanting slightly more to the left as he read the leftmost side of the line of text and slanting slightly more to the right as he read the rightmost side of the line.
- But hey, correct me if I'm wrong. It is a bit of a subtle animation.
- Sorry about the repeated edits too, by the way. I used the preview several times, but didn't notice some rather obvious mistakes (which would've made the edit not make sense) until I had already hit save. --Lux Acerbus 02:28, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
- Hey, no problem. This has been debated before, I'm not sure where, but it's certainly worth more debate if you feel so. Put it on the toon's Talk.
- Oh, it has? Heh. So I wasn't the first to wonder.
- Well, whatever. After furhter consideration, I just figured that since the "goof" is so difficult to notice anyway, there's probably not much point in posting it as a goof on the article anyway. --Lux Acerbus 02:43, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
Don't insult other users.
Hey, Lux, I just saw the comment you made over a month about my STUFFing of a fact in strong badathlon, and I must say I didn't appreciate the insult. Insulting other users is very close to trolling, and I just thought you should know that. Please don't do that in the future. --ISlayedTheKerrek 16:37, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
- I wasn't aware that I did insult anyone. Could you quote the text on my talk page so I know what you mean? I apologize if I offended you. --Lux Acerbus 13:45, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
- The text in question: "Honestly, saying that "Whatsitburied Slop" is not a reference to the "Fosbury Flop" (especially considering that they're both techniques designed to win athletic competitions) is about the most ridiculous argument I've ever seen put on this website." I didn't appreciate that, but I accept your apology. --ISlayedTheKerrek 05:23, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I honestly didn't mean to offend you, I just wanted to state that I didn't like the argument, but I guess that does sound a bit offensive. I'll choose my words more carefully in the future. --Lux Acerbus 00:10, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

Period in/outside quotes
Hey, there, I know usual American style is to put all periods and commas inside quotes; however, wiki style is different. See the manual of style. Talk atcha later! Heimstern Läufer 04:17, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
- Really? I wasn't aware. I'll check it out. Thanks for the info. --Lux Acerbus 04:23, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
- In case you're interested: American style differs from British on this issue. And since the internet's pretty international, you get it pretty mixed. Now, there seems to be some dispute on this one (I reverted you, and then was reverted), so who knows. But it's good to keep in mind. Heimstern Läufer

- I figured it was a British English deal if the Wiki had different standards, so I see what you mean. Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if more English-speaking countries followed the British rule on that than the American rule; you never know. Most of the time the U.S. stuff doesn't make sense anyway. I mean, come on, twelve inches in a foot and 5,280 feet in a mile? What the crap is that nonsense? --Lux Acerbus 04:28, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
- Agree completely. Heimstern Läufer

- Actually, the reason for the american style rule is quite ridiculous (at least with the invention of inkjet, http://alt-usage-english.org/excerpts/fxvsxxxx.html) The period should go where it makes sense intuitively. DeFender1031 12:42, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

Extra image
Hey there, Lux. It looks like Image:Ye flask sig.GIF is a duplicate of your sig image, Image:Ye flask.gif. Did you want me to delete the extra one? Thanks, Trey56 23:56, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, please do. That was an accident. Thanks! --~That Guy Over There (

- No prob! Talk atcha later,
Trey56 02:59, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, I was thinking I might just screenshot the two images together and upload them as one to make it more convenient. Would you be so kind as to delete the extras? I'd really appreciate it. ~That Guy Over There (

- Yup, that's a great idea. I'll keep my eyes open for the change in your sig, and then I'll delete the old ones.

Minor edit
Hey Lux. I've noticed that you type out "(minor edit)" on your minor edits. You don't have to do that; the system automatically puts a little m in the history, on the recent changes page, and on diffs of all minor edits. Cheers! — It's dot com 02:59, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
- I've noticed that. I do also check the "minor edit" box, but I know some people have email notifications sent to them even when a minor edit is made to an article, so I type it out to clarify. (I know I wouldn't want to sift through all of the minor edit notifications in my inbox). ~That Guy Over There (

- I'd argue that edits like this and this are NOT minor. According to policy, "[a] major edit is anything that makes the entry worth looking at for someone watching the article; any "real" change, even if it only involves a single word, is a major edit." - Qermaq - (T/C)

- I apologize, I was unaware of the exact policy. I thought rewordings counted as minor edits (bloody hell, does reword have a hyphen in it or not?!?). Thanks for the info,
