Perhaps someone should list what he has sold at his store over the years, the only one I remember is "Chocolate covered flame throwers that shoot out 1 hundred dollar bills", but that's all I remember. I'm sure there's more though.--Gamingboy 07:50, 11 Nov 2004 (MST)

20X6 Bubs...

Are Greggo and Chorch from the Stinkoman 20X6 game possibly 20X6 versions of Bubs? The "teeth" on those two enemies vaguely remind me of Bubs. It's not much to go on, but we haven't yet seen any other variant of Bubs in 20X6, and I don't know why they'd put teeth on the robots if they weren't implying a connection.

I know that it's like, a year and almost three months since (I can't spell that word) this discussion ended, but I just realized something. If 20X6 Coach Z is the main villain of Stinkoman 20X6, then isn't it possible, since (I still can't spell that word) Coach Z is always hanging out with Bubs, that Greggo and Chorch could be 20X6 versions of Bubs working for 20X6 Coach Z? --Homsar Lover

Bub's Last Name

Should it be considered Canon that Bubs's last name is "Concession Stand"?

It's just a commercial, and the Senorial Day page states "If Bubs can be trusted, then we learn his full name is 'Bubs Concession Stand'". Also, I want to keep this Wiki's neutral point of view. --TROGGA! 23:43, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Virus Bubs

Remember in Bubs in the Sb Email "Virus"? "I'm Sorry Strong Bad, but my Mouth was a broken tape player. I had no choice!" Shouldn't Bubs' Domicle be the Stand? Just a thought, but it seems Bubs must live there, too, seeing he hardly goes anywhere else but there.

Bubs' head

Thnikkaman?

Just a thought... The thnikkaman isn't necessarily Bubs. This has never been conclusively proven, and bubs has never been suspected of being the thnikkaman by any of the major characters. Um, no. It's been pretty obvious since day one that Bubs is the Thnikkaman. As for Homsar, he can't change his voice to sound exactly like Bubs, even if he could make himself look exactly like him. Zero.exe 16:56, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

Well,there's a possibility it's Strong bad,as he perfectly pulled of Homestar and made a perfect him coustume(Albit in a "Da Bee" costume) in Pumpkin carve-nival.

In the first Easter egg found in cliffhangers (Strong Bad E-mail 158), Bubs seemed awfully annoyed when Coach Z "accused" himself of being the Thnikkaman. Well, if Bubs weren't the Thnikkaman, then why would he have been so defensive? Yes, Bubs might have shown annoyance regardless, but probably in a less defensive manner if he weren't the Thnikkaman (or so I think). ~Garnet Jell-o~ 16:19, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

Bubs can't possibly be the Thnikkaman. He doesn't have anything written on his chest, and he doesn't wear any type of glasses. It doesn't have to be Bubs, it could be anyone, Strong Bad and the Goblin pulled off perfect disguises and voice imitations as Homestar (Angus Young?) and SB (the bee) respectively, why shouldn't other characters be able to do this?

After reviewing Bubs in the sbemail the chair, I think it would be cool if there was a page dedicated to how Bubs talks (we've already got great ones dedicated to Homsar and Coach Z) and some of his strange vocabulary. There was a great analysis of Homsar's "word salads." Any guesses on what condition Bubs might have (other than "strange old man")? Cyndentia

I wouldn't say he's a "strange old man" (that's the KOT's job), but I agree. He does have a rather....obscure vocabulary. He's probably just a bit "messed in the head" like Coach Z (anging out with him must be bad for your health). Enigma 13:38, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

Bubs' Voice

Is Bubs supposed to sound black?

Ihere's really no attribute of Bubs that I can exclusively pin to one ethnicity or racial background. I think the oversensitive would certainly have cause to invent offense, sure. I am also rather confident no real offense is given, as Bubs happens to be among the smartest of the lot. I have never personally thought that Bubs was supposed to be black, anyway. I just think of him as some funny weird store-owner who helps and/or annoys the other characters. Nothing remotely racist about that. Plus, if they meant it that way, they would've made him say "Y'all come back now, ya hear?" and stuff like that. -Brightstar Shiner 14:37, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Even if he was 'black' I can't see that it would be racist. First, I reject the idea that all members of all minorities (Something Bubs, a fat, eccentric orange and blue cartoon man with one eye bigger than the other isn't depicted as visually at the very least) have to be portrayed in a positive light. Besides this other characters are often portrayed as being eccentric, stupid or heavily intertwined with areas of popular culture, (Coach Z's love of rap, Strongbad with a mexican accent and wrestling mask, Marzipan's links to the hippy movement etc.) meaning and that any lampoon is fairly universal. Yhis means any attempt to make a stab at black people in general would have to be entirely intentional in this case. As the Brother Chaps have never made any noise about being against black people or other minorities in general that's a fairly strong accusation. 82.69.88.21 05:34, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
