Hey, is it just me, or does What's Her Face have the most expressive face of all the teen girls? Honestly, she seems to have a the strongest reaction to events. A good example is in issue 11, cheerleader and So-and-So ignore The Ugly One when she says "I'm gonna miss those oak leaves..." but What's Her Face looks freaked out. Also, when Mrs.Soandsoerson screams at the girls in issue 8, her mouth engsmslode'd up her face. {{User:Haldo/sig}}

Questionable Note

(She is the girl) ... who seems to be the one who takes the most damage, physically and emotionally.

She actually seems to get killed the least often of any of the girls.

Uhmm... no? Being "killed" and "[taking]... damage, physically and emotionally" are different things. Strong Sad could tell you that. Also, emotional pain is completely irrelevant to death. So although you MAY AS well be right that she GETS KILLED less often (in fact I think only thrice), that doesn't contradict the above statement.

  • punt = fatal
  • bat whacking = not fatal but painful
  • not getting to go to the mall = emotionally painful but far from fatal
  • possums = painful, but not fatal
  • heavy object falling = fatal
  • being entirely overlooked = emotionally painful; more fatal than mall but not that fatal
  • wave of babies = slightly painful; mainly annoying
  • Mrs. Commanderson's claws = barely painful
  • almost getting eaten = not yet but almost fatal
  • legless desk = very degrading, emotional pain equals very yes
  • stuck playing bass = emotionally painful
  • eaten by shark = fatal

I think perhaps the fact that she gets killed less might increase this. Once you're dead that's it, you can't feel it anymore. But if you're alive the pain just keeps coming along- Overused and Underappreciated (I'm not logged in.)

I'd also like to remind everyone that she's the only desireable one.

Yeah. But uh, minds don't think alike. --Gafaddict 12:25, 8 May 2005 (UTC)
  • She has to be about 17 if she's had her lisence for a year. Kiwi 13:20, 27 June 2005
  • Not necessarily. We don't know the licensing laws in Mundelow. Qermaq 01:29, 18 February 2006 (UTC)

I agree with the person who wasn't logged in. I also agree she's the most desirable.20X6 GEM

I think that's because she's there as a foil. She's the 90s-alt-quasigrunge element to offset the materialistic, leetspeaking, "boymongering" (?), tone of the rest of the Squad. Granted, those traits are primarily ascribable to Cheerleader, but as highlighted in Episode 9, the Squad takes its cues from her. WHF is not so emphatic in her counterculturalism as to leave the Squad, which I think is still a point in her favor. She stays real, principled, and level-headed, but not unnecessarily, divisively, or wearisomely so--if she did she'd be Marzipan. notstrongorbad 17:19, 26 Sep 2005 (UTC)

I had not thought it possible for anyone to deconstruct What's Her Face in such a way. But you did. If I could give out an honorary degree from CGNU, I would. — THE SMOKING MONKEY

Thanks, smokingmonkeydude. But wait, I just noticed the part where it says "her real name is either Virginia, Joy, or Jennifer." Anybody know where they're getting that from? notstrongorbad 06:56, 27 Sep 2005 (UTC)

comic. So and So is referred to as Kristina, so it logically follows that the other three girls are the other three emailers names. --videlectrix.pngENUSY discussionitem_icon.gif user.gifmail_icon.gif, 08:00, 27 September 2005 (BST)

Thanks--it finally ocurred to me to search for it, and I found that. I have a hunch she's the Jennifer. That would make Cheerleader Joy, of course.notstrongorbad 07:03, 27 Sep 2005 (UTC)

What evidence do you have to back up your claim? —Gafaddict Image:Gafaddict sigpic.gif (Talk | Contribs.) 19:11, 27 Sep 2005 (UTC)
Oh, none; I wasn't really saying that as a serious theory based on something in a 'toon, just musing based on my gut-level feelings about those names (probably related to people I've known who had them).notstrongorbad 00:07, 28 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Eh, I always thought she should be Joy. But that's just me. -PAUAU

I say she's Jennifer. — talk Bubsty edits 02:26, 4 December 2005 (UTC)
I think she'd be Jennifer, not that this really matters. - KookykmanImage:kookysig.gif(t)(c)(r)
I always figured her name would be Joy since she's usually the most depressed.
I think The Ugly One should be called Joy.--Trinculoid 01:47, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

Most Dates

Perhaps it's just me, but What's Her Face seems to have the most romantic interest than anyone else. Case in point.

There is a hint that she's dating Thomas, the one-foot alien. She apparently dated Science Fiction Greg, and was willing to do so when Cheerleader died in episode 9. She went off to find a "remote access point" with the Wireless Wizard DnD Greg show interest when she goes off with the Wireless Wizard

The only way to assume otherwise is if Cheerleader actually did get valentines from all the football players except one (presumably Quarterback).

Hmm... that is interesting. Considering Cheerleader is the stereotypical popular high school girl, she most likely did get a valentine from all of the football players. ;-) But, yeah, that's a really good point you make about What's Her Face. Bluebry 04:46, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
I think Whats Her Face has the most COMMONLY APPEARING love interests.
