Occasionally, characters will emit floating hearts from their heads as a visual expression of feelings of pleasure. Though Homestar Runner is the character who most frequently emits these hearts, other characters will occasionally show them, too. Teen Girl Squad characters show these hearts very often.
The hearts that bubble around Homestar's head are the same ones that appeared when typing the word "love" in the chat program Hello.
