The King of Town Main Page is a comically simplified alternate Main Page, starring the King of Town instead of Homestar Runner. There are only four buttons, each bearing a singular label ("toon", "game", etc.), unlike the typical plural labels.

Button Effects
- Toon — Brings you back to the "DVD" menu. Mouse-over effect: The Multi-Function Dragon appears behind the mountains.
- Game — The game is Revenge of the King. Mouse-over effect: The Atari Dragon appears behind the mountains.
- Download — Brings up a 404'd page (nonexistent "kingpaper.html"). Mouse-over effect: The S is for Sucks Dragon appears behind the mountains.
- E-mail — Goes to the toon King of Townmail. Mouse-over effect: The Hornblower appears in the field and plays.

- This was the main menu page for April Fools' Day of 2003, complete with a King of Town Intro.
- After April Fools', the page can now be accessed through an Easter egg in The King of Town DVD. Clicking on the mustache on the coat of arms will make the shield swing back; clicking a now-uncovered brick will play the King of Town intro that leads to this page.
Remarks
- The normal H*R logo (the Museum button) is replaced with a KOT logo. The King of Town says "The K.O.T.!" when you scroll over the icon.
- There are no buttons that correspond to the normal Characters and Store buttons.
- When the King of Town says "toon", it cuts off before the N sound.
- The original Download button linked to a King of Town logo image captioned with "Tile it on your desktop."
- "kingoftown.com", the fake URL in the original page title, was not registered by The Brothers Chaps. Soon after this toon's release, a fan-made kingoftown.com was created, consisting of a simple landing page that directed visitors toward www.homestarrunner.com. In 2004, the page was changed to mirror the fan's personal website; the domain expired sometime between 2005 and 2008 and is not currently active.
- The current page title, www.kingofftowne.com, has never hosted a web page.
- The only button to remain the same as the rest of the Main Pages is the "E-mail" button.
