[edit] Welcome to HRWiki

Hi there, Ilovefrenchhorn! That's a pretty cool name! I played the French horn for a lot of years (though these days, I'm more of an amateur tenor vocalist), and I still think it's a great instrument. Anyway, I wanted to welcome you to the Homestar Runner Wiki. If you have any questions, you can feel free to stop by my talk page to ask. Hope you have a great time at the wiki! Talk atcha later! Hey Haley. I played horn when I was in school too! The reason Bub's shady business practices is in red is because the page got moved to Bubs's Shady Business Practices (Bubs's name is Bubs, not Bub). Hope that helps. Talk atcha later! — It's dot com 23:23, 3 May 2010 (UTC)

Thank you! Buuuut...I'm looking at that and it doesn't seem right. I think that the correct grammatical term to use would be neither Bub's nor Bubs's. I'm almost positive now that it would be Bubs', especially because on the spell check it says that Bubs's is wrong but Bubs' and Bub's aren't. Thoughts?

To make a singular noun possessive, add 's, even ones that end in s. Thomas's, Ross's, and Dennis's are correct, while Thomas', Ross', and Dennis' are not, despite what the media, the AP stylebook, and maybe your English teacher may tell you. We do make one specific exception on this wiki with Bubs' Concession Stand, but that's because you don't pronounce a second s (you say /bubz/ instead of /bubzes/ there). — It's dot com 00:20, 4 May 2010 (UTC)

[edit] Expatiation, and another word of welcome

I guess you have to change that section on your user page now; that counts as using a big word. I'm glad to see another choir participant on the wiki, even if it's not your primary interest. I sing baritone in Marzipan's choir, and I'm not telling Strong Bad. I hope you enjoy the place and decide to stick around; we're glad to have you The Knights Who Say Ni 23:34, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
