[edit] The wiki is not perfect

Hey, friend, it's me again. I've noticed that your edit summaries make you sound like you expect the wiki to be perfect. I'm going to enlighten you on an open secret that even I didn't learn for a while: The wiki isn't perfect, and that's why it needs your help. And it needs everybody's help. So good job for helping. You have done some very remarkable edits so far, especially with fixing documenting errors and oversights. That stuff is my specialty, so I can see right on your level. Keep up the good work, and don't expect everybody to get everything right without the help of you. Conversely, do not expect yourself to get everything right without the help of everybody. It's a win-win-win. See you around. —BazookaJoe 06:47, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Trivia/Remarks

Hey, I noticed you wondering what the difference is between Trivia and Remarks. It's all explained here. In this case, I'd call it Trivia based on those guidelines. Hope all is well. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 02:10, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] You're shredding some hot lixx... with your teeth

Ask and you shall receive. By the way, did you happen to save that quote? I know we already have a mirror of the last one, I wonder if they were different in some way (such as taking out the background noise). —BazookaJoe 18:19, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

What...have I done? I think I must have given out a request or something. I only expected them to use this quote another time. Oh well, I guess that's proof that the Brothers Chaps do read the Wiki. --Charlie Jr. 18:52, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
Well, they made a mistake by using an old quote, so they fixed it. And yes, i've been saying it for a while now, but this is absolute proof that TBC actively watch the wiki... — Defender1031*Talk 19:29, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
We've had absolute proof before, but this gives us some confidence that Matt or Mike visit recent changes or page histories from time to time, which is something we didn't know before. Also a little bit scary. :P But you didn't happen to save the file, did you, Charlie? —BazookaJoe 20:30, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
That's what i meant by "actively watch" as opposed to "read occasionally". — Defender1031*Talk 22:05, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
Y'know, BJ, I can download the file before next week. Heck, I can download my favorite quotes that were mirrored whenever I feel like it. --Charlie Jr. 23:18, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing. I'm wondering if you hit the "get it!" button when viewing qod.swf and you have sicksam_mush.mp3 saved on your computer. —BazookaJoe 23:24, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Spanish Subs

Hey there, Mr Jr. Please check out our translation guidelines: "Do not use automatic translation tools, they usually output gibberish. Only translate subtitles if you are skilled in both English and the desired language." This is because words have more than meaning, and translation tools often get it wrong. A quick check on the "onetwo/es" subtitles showed me that some of the translations were random, and that the grammar was wrong. I decided to delete it, as bad translations can actually be worse than no translations. Please don't take this personal! I really appreciate the effort you have put into this, and I'm sorry it didn't work out this one time. Keep up the good work (and good choice for the qotw! ;-) Loafing 21:26, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

Oh, that's alright. I've been aware about how complicated the subtitle business is, so I think I'll just leave it all alone. I learned my lesson, though. --Charlie Jr. 22:06, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hinting for a QotW?

Were you by any change giving TBC a request for the next Quote of the Week here, since TBC had actually listened to you before? Homestar-Winner (talk) 22:45, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

First of all, they didn't listen to me, they read my summary, which happened once in October '07. This time around, I just thought I'd make sure they never forget about characters they haven't used in a while. By now you should know that Strong Bad's got WAY more than every other character, which is why I posted a fun fact on his article. But I'll just let them do whatever they feel like doing. You just never know what they'll post when it comes to quotes, fan art, and sketches. --Charlie Jr. 00:14, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
