[edit] Stub template

Why come this article's a stub if that appears to be all we know about the DVD? Is it going to stay there until we get a release date? Bad Bad Guy 18:16, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

That sounds logical to me. See, it's a stub, yes. And that's all we know NOW. But we have the potential to glean more information for our article at any time. --DorianGray 18:20, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Woo! Released today on Tuesday, 6/5/2007!

Just thought I'd commemorate the occasion here in the talkpage. I ordered mine. Can't wait.

[edit] There's two of them!

Since there was already an Email Intros video for Disc 1, what should we call the disc five video? Email Intros 2? Email Intros (Disc 5)? Bad Bad Guy 22:08, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

It has been called Email Intros, Part Two. MHarrington 06:12, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

[edit] "Cackle Demon"

Yeah, I know that's not what it's supposed to be called. But I hear a pretty distinct "L" in there, and remember that DVD audio quality tends to be better than website audio quality. Man, now I have to listen more closely when it's time for me to watch alternate universe on the DVD... --Jay (Gobble) 04:22, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

Huh. Don't hear an "L" in alternate universe's line. --Jay (Gobble) 05:55, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
Me neither. Should we change this to "cacko-demons?" Religious Corn   19:36, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
Now that we know, from this years' Halloween Toon, that they are specifically called 'cacodemons'(i knew it!) I changed it in the transcript. --Abelhawk 18:01, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
Now that I caught it, I changed it back, at least in SB's monologue. I know what it's called, but that doesn't mean it's what STRONG BAD called it. --Jay (Gobble) 01:41, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
I rechecked it, and it's hard to tell. The "k" phoneme and the "l" phoneme are pretty close in Strong Bad's voice, so it's not 100% clear. I did compare it with "cacodemons" in alternate universe and it the pronunciation is different; less of the "l" phoneme. This might have to stand for now, as much as I hate to admit it. wbwolf (t | ed) 02:16, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
Actually, i have always heard "cackle demon" in alternate universe also, not just here... soo... yeah. — Defender1031*Talk 02:48, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Easter Eggs

There's gotta be more on that DVD than 162 toons from the site, the email from Georgia Tech, and a rock opera rip-off, right? Just reminding you to search. Bad Bad Guy 04:13, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

This comment isn't very helpful. What kind of reply is it supposed to garner? It's not like we're not gonna search, and if we find anything, it's not like it won't be added to the article. In fact, it seems more like forum-style chatter to me. — It's dot com 04:18, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Where are they?!

I have my DVD...says so on my userpage. Anyways...where are all the commentaries?! You don't expect me to sit through all these emails and write down all these commentaries! Yeah, I did it for retirement, and I considered doing it for coloring, but WHERE ARE THEY?! I don't remember it taking this long when Everything Else, Volume 2 was released! Religious Corn   19:40, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

I'll try to do transcripts. Tell the mods to check them if they're not correct. User:Quite A Dish Gang Member 17:39, 17 October 2007

[edit] Verification

  • 160 Seconds (On some DVDs this bonus wont fully play and will freeze half way through due to a fault with the disk)

This was recently added by an anonny. It seems like a very odd thing to be true on scale greater than that of "some DVDs" translating to "the DVD of the user who wrote this remark". Can this be verified from multiple sources? — Defender1031*Talk 23:48, 19 August 2012 (UTC)

That's true for me, too. RickTommy (edits) 13:44, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
