Where did Homsar ever appear in flashback!? --Whaddaya Know Haddi-man? 11:04, 25 Oct 2004 (MST)

Discount Flashback Warehouse.-- 11:13, 26 Oct 2004 (MST)

I can only say three words about this idea: sick and wrong.

I just realized, Modestly Hot Homsar's hat doesn't return to her head. I guess Homsar loses the ability as a woman...

Flashback is linked to from this page, but Modestly Hot Homsar isn't mentioned on that page. Should we remove the link here, or mention it/him/her there? — User:ACupOfCoffee@ 05:02, 10 November 2005 (UTC)

I likes! I likes!

Actually, that part where Modestly Hot Homsar appeared was from a screenshot of different town, and not originally in this episode (And only her shadow can be seen). Not only that, flashback doesn't even mention her in the cast of characters list. I say we should remove the link to flashback. --AAA! (AAAA) 06:22, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Move and redirect?

I just added MHH to Minor Alternate Versions. Should the content of this page be moved there as well? The only thing that stopped me was the sketchbook image. Could that be linked from the variations page and this article redirected? — It's dot com 16:26, 24 Sep 2005 (UTC)

I think so — User:ACupOfCoffee@ 18:55, 9 November 2005 (UTC)
On second thought, having that page point here works fine. The article takes up a lot of space, especially with the sketchbook image, and gets linked to a lot. — It's dot com 18:59, 9 November 2005 (UTC)

Moved from Talk:Main Page#Modestly Hot Homsar:

If we have already deleted every 2046-related page and Damp Towelman, should we remove Modestly Hot Homsar? She contributes as much to the plot of different town as the 2046 people do to your funeral and sketchbook images didn't save Damp Towelman. The reason I am writing it here instead of on her page is because I was hesitant to tag it. Bad Bad Guy 22:40, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
I think there's a good case for there not to a separate article for Modestly Hot Homsar — for example, Big Old Tree was merged with The Stick. A crazy thought just occurred to me, though. What about a page including all of the Different Town Character Variations? It could encompass Modestly Hot Homsar, the Big Old Tree, ABA basketball Pom Pom, Rocking Marzipan, hornèd Strong Sad, and perhaps starless Homestar and jacketed Coach Z. Or is this info sufficiently covered between the different town and Different Town Visuals articles? Trey56 22:52, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

I was thinking about moving this page to Other Character Variations. If this conversation was supposed to be merged with the other move and redirect page please do so. Bad Bad Guy 23:07, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

I stand by what I said two years ago above, about the space, the images, and the links. — It's dot com 02:32, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
Strong Bad Smiling has lots of pictures and links (even more than this page does) but people still want to delete that. Bad Bad Guy 18:57, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
That last post and the blockquote eliminates the validity of all the points that you made. Bad Bad Guy 00:32, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

No, Bad Bad Guy, it does not. For my opinion, I'm basically neutral. The notability of this one is borderline, then again, it would be pretty difficult to make a merge of all this (especially the images) into a list of variations. Remember that there's a substantial difference between a deletion and a merge: with a deletion, you eliminate the content completely; with a merge, you just move it somewhere else. That's why this is not directly comparable with the situation at Strong Bad Smiling (that article, too, would have some real problems if someone wanted to merge it rather than deleting). Heimstern Läufer 00:53, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

I was thinking that if this was merged, we could just leave the sketch in Sketchbook. You don't see the "no sign of dan towelman" sketch anywhere in Strong Badman Characters "please stop feeding us" sketch anywhere in Minor Teen Girl Squad Character. Bad Bad Guy 01:08, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
Yes, that's possible. I do think that the sketchbook has something to contribute here (note that this article also contains a note concerning the genesis of the character), so I'm not convinced of the merge. But as I said, I'm neutral. Heimstern Läufer 01:26, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

So far, we have 2 or 3 for merge, 1 for keep, and 1 for neutral. Bad Bad Guy 00:53, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

I am closing this discussion as no consensus. The discussion has now been open for three weeks. It is true that there were relatively few participants in the discussion, which is not ideal. This is part of why I consider this a no-consensus situation. Numbers-wise, also, there's nothing to suggest a consensus for merging. Heimstern Läufer 18:03, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

Would it be preposterous of me to assume there were no participants because they were busy on other stuff? Bad Bad Guy 02:59, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

Probably. — It's dot com 03:20, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

I managed to move the article's most important facts and a link to the sketch to Different Town Character Variations, and DeFender1031 wrote on that article's talk page that "a merge is in order". Bad Bad Guy 02:06, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

Please don't take things out of context. I said that I don't know what the issue is, but it seems like one is in order. — Defender1031*Talk 02:07, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
'm srry. The issue is that this article was already proposed twice for being merged with 1 of the character variation pages, but after the 1st discussion, it was concluded that it deserved to stay mainly because it had a Sketchbook sketch. The 2nd discussion had too few participants to really reach a conclusion. Would deletion of other pages devoted to single character variations and the creation of Different Town Character Variations render this page worthless? Bad Bad Guy 02:11, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
If that is the case, i would say that, yes, a merge is definitely in order. — Defender1031*Talk 02:12, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

This is done. Everything, including the sketchbook, is there now. — It's dot com 03:16, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Strong Glad's Cousin?

You know, Modestly Hot Homsar IS sick and wrong, but funny. Plus, she kinda looks like Strong Glad. Hmmmmmmmmmmm... maybe I should add strong glad to Minor variations.-Runstar Homer

Nah, as a sketch, it doesn't exactly qualify. — It's dot com 17:14, 30 Sep 2005 (UTC)
It does look kinda like Strong Glad though. — talk Bubsty edits 17:30, 11 December 2005 (UTC)
How so? Strong Glad is just Strong Sad with really long girly legs.

[edit] Hold On...

Modestly Hot Homsar appears in flashback? Oh, wait. Hold on. Never mind.

[edit] Secret identity?

Do we have any idea WHICH Miss California MHH is based on? like, how many hve there been? someone needs to do some research. Pfamily Pfargtl

I recall seeing at some point a photo that was a close match, don't recall whether it was in Talk here or on IRC. Still, it would be speculation even if we found a close match. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 02:54, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
