According to a recent edit, the Puppet variation of Strong Mad appeared in the recent release "Dangeresque Roomisode Triungulate". Where exactly? It's possible I missed this and even that it could've been added in an update to the game, but I just want to make sure this is 100% legitimate. (Also I kind of want to see the puppet in action, so if it is there...) ----J∃ffJMan 13:09, 11 September 2023 (UTC)

: I don't think it does. There are a few scenes with brief 3D renders, but they're just renders, not puppets. -- 15:48, 11 September 2023 (UTC)

Puppet-ality

The puppets seem to have slightly different personalities to their Flash counterparts. I'd add that information into the article, but I can't figure out exactly what is different about their personalities. Thoughts? Shwoo 07:09, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

Shark-Tooth Bubs, at least, is decidedly different than regular Bubs. --DorianGray
Yeah, he's obviously different, but I was thinking more of Homestar and Strong Bad. Puppet Strong Bad is grumpier, I think. Shwoo 07:31, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
You'd be grumpy too if you had a puppet stand in your rear. --DorianGray

H.R. Hurricanesnstuff

I think that H.R. Hurricanesntuff should be moved to Character Variations Other Costumes since he is a variation of the original Homestar Runner puppet (just a few pieces of felt added) and not an entirely separate character. For precedent, notice that when Homestar Runner dressed up as "Desire Man", we didn't consider this to be a separate character, just a costume. In the same way, H.R. Hurricanesnstuff is just a costume that Puppet Homestar is wearing. Trey56 01:49, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

(Whatever is decided, watch out for this redirect.) —BazookaJoe 01:58, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

Well, that's exactly what Hurricaney is: a variation of a puppet of a character. I say just keep it here. Dr. Clash 02:01, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

I can see what Trey means. Hurricanesnstuff doesn't fit the intent of this page. Sure, let's move him. —BazookaJoe 02:08, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

Right, this page encompasses variations of characters as puppets, not variations of the puppets themselves, if that makes sense. Trey56 02:10, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

Actually, do we have enough Puppet Stuff costumes to make its own Other Costumes page? Like how Old-Timey Other Costumes is a subset of Character Variations Other Costumes, if we have enough puppet costumes, we could make Puppet Stuff Other Costumes. If not, let's start a puppet stuff section at the Character Variations Other Costumes page. —BazookaJoe 02:14, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

Can't we keep 'em in both pages? --Trogga 02:15, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
Probably not, if he only fits one of the two — what we should do, however is add a "See also" link at the bottom of this page to whatever place we decide to put the puppets' costumes at. Trey56 02:18, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
BazookaJoe: Offhand, I can't think of many other costumes that puppets wear — but you're entirely right that if there are enough of them (at least 10 or 15), they should get a separate page like Old-Timey Other Costumes. Trey56 02:18, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

Ok, moved 'im under a puppet section in Character Variations Other Costumes. Dr. Clash 02:21, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

Thanks — looks good :) Trey56 02:22, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

The Paper

The Paper is the background of @StrongBadActual and is featured in several Twitpics. We're seeing it in "real-life" form. Should that be noted on this page? — It's dot com 21:52, 13 October 2014 (UTC)

If we included it there, we would have to have the computers as well. What if we have a separate pseudocharacters section? Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 19:53, 19 July 2016 (UTC)
I still support this idea. Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 22:53, 18 July 2018 (UTC)
Done! Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 19:21, 3 September 2018 (UTC)

Filmography?

I thinks the puppets should get Filmography categories. Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 01:37, 6 June 2016 (UTC)

Hellote? Haldo? Halosche? Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 19:40, 19 July 2016 (UTC)
So whaddaya think? Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 02:25, 27 July 2016 (UTC)
Somebody? Anybody? The Cheat? Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 04:53, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
Yeah, it seems that the Puppet filmography is getting a bit unwieldy, so I support the notion for separate filmography pages. - Catjaz63 04:55, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
At the very least, the puppet versions of Homestar, Strong Bad and The Cheat should get their own categories. DEI DAT VMdatvm center\super contra 03:28, 11 August 2016 (UTC)
If there are no objections, I'ma go ahead and create the categories. Is that okay? Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 05:54, 28 September 2017 (UTC)
I agree that Puppet Homestar and Strong Bad need their own pages. Besides the large filography, for the longest time it seems to me that the Puppet versions have their own continuity hence why Bennedetto is alive for Labor Dabor and the Corpy exploded in Puppet form but was nicked by SB for SBEmails later. Ergo, they should be treated more along the lines of Stinkoman or The Homestar Runner Guybrush20X6 09:24, 28 September 2017 (UTC)
Does that mean we're going to be changing the film template usage on the different articles so that they're using the Puppet versions? (E.g., The Animated Adventures of Puppet Homestar) --Neumannz 19:21, 19 October 2017 (UTC)
Yep! I've already started that. I'm about one third to half done. Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 20:30, 19 October 2017 (UTC)

Chinmouth Strong Bad

I feel like the new "chinmouth Strong Bad" puppet should be mentioned on here somewheres. Maybe the gold-eyed Strong Bad and plush-duck mouthed-Homestar plushies too. Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 21:50, 19 August 2016 (UTC)

About the plushies... maybe there could be a "Not Quite Puppets" section for both the plushies and the Skills of an Artist glove. Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 07:37, 25 November 2017 (UTC)
Now that both Strong Bad and Strong Sad have glove-style "puppets", this idea seems more useful. Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 22:53, 18 July 2018 (UTC)
Agreed. Now that it's a thing that's happened for more than one character. Guybrush20X6 22:57, 18 July 2018 (UTC)
Done and done! Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 19:21, 3 September 2018 (UTC)

Two Dangeresques?! And two Dangeresque Toos?!

What do we do in the case that there are multiple puppets of the same character? It seemed that the precedent was set with Doreauxgard, but as more puppet variations begin to appear, it seems that we might need to split them. - Catjaz63 03:03, 23 August 2016 (UTC)

Well, we have Homestar and The Exact Same in different sections... but I guess that's cuz they're different characters. Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 03:10, 23 August 2016 (UTC)

Reason for new SB Puppet

The article mentions that the new Strong Bad puppet was made "possibly because the first puppet's head fell off, as revealed in a @StrongBadActual Tweet." Since we have the ability to link to specific tweets on the wiki list of 'em, that specific one should probably be added. FWIW, I can't track it down myself (despite searching for "puppet", "head", "fell", and so forth) so I am curious as to the source of this claim. -- Bleu Ninja 18:00, 23 September 2019 (UTC)

Upon review, it looks like three things are being conflated:
 • Puppet Casio Head Strong Bad uses the same body as the original SB puppet.
 • The new Strong Bad puppet first appeared in a @StrongBadActual tweet.
 • It is possible that the original puppet broke - its head falling off - thus necessitating a new puppet.
Since the third point is conjecture I'm not sure it should be included so prominently. As-is the phrasing also implied that a tweet explained the need for new chinmouth, which was not the case. -- Bleu Ninja 23:22, 11 January 2022 (UTC)

Strong Mad Puppet in Roomisode Triungulate?

According to a recent edit, the Puppet variation of Strong Mad appeared in the recent release "Dangeresque Roomisode Triungulate". Where exactly?
