hm...this page is lookin' funny...what's with the extra space behind the H*R link?

I'll give this a tweak. It could use a space under the photo I think. AgentSeethroo

I think we might want to incorporate the subpage "Facts" from 'Tavi into a section onto the page itself. Also, we need to figure out what we are going to do with the "HomestarLinks" page that this page references. -- Tom 14:38, 4 Aug 2004 (MST)

Okeydokey. I'll go ahead and import the Facts page into Matt's page. If we wanna move, we can do it later, right? Homestarlinks...yeah...is there some special MediaWiki links page format thinger? That'd probably be the best way to do it. AgentSeethroo 16:00, 4 Aug 2004 (AZ)

Hey Whats the Link to the movie, i cant find it anywhere? 9-15-04

What's the deal with someone baleeting the facts, they were actually there for a while then it just said the article was a stub. I put the facts just under the article, as I didn't want it lost. So, anyone know what happened? Of course this is from M.J

Looking at the page history, it doesn't seem that they were ever there. Though we did talk about them... Nice work getting them over here. -- Tom 04:54, 4 Oct 2004 (MST)

Inline refs

I've added the inline references back to the page. I should have put a note or something on here about them a while ago. Sorry about that. When M.J and I were drawing up the plans for this page a long time ago, I made her put all of those inline references in there. This was mostly because it would be so hard to confirm these hard to find facts. In fact, I really didn't even believe a few of them at first. Of course, this really only applies to this kind of page, where we are dealing with a real life person and can have a zero margin of error. If we decide that we really don't like them, I suppose we can hide them in the code with comment tags. (<!-- -->) -- Tom 21:27, 24 Oct 2004 (MST)

Fair enough. I'm pushing the boundaries here like my three year old! spblat 21:33, 24 Oct 2004 (MST)

Good work everyone, this page is looking great now. M.J

Ex-wife

From Tis True, Pom Pom, Tis True commentary:
MATT: So this was, uh, my wife Jackie and I, who was not my wife at the time, wrote this cartoon.

MIKE: I thought you said "she's not your wife anymore."

MATT: Who's no longer my wife. No, that's not true.

Jackie is still his wife, at least up to the time that recorded this. Since we haven't heard anything to the contrary, it should be assumed that they are still together.--Hysterical Woman 18:05, 4 Dec 2004 (MST)

I understand it the same way that you do. Meaning: they are still married. (Mike was confused at mishearing Matt. Mike thought Matt said that he and Jackie were no longer married. This confused Mike because Matt and Jackie are still married. Matt confirms this in the next line.) -- Tom 16:58, 8 Dec 2004 (MST)

Sealab 2021

Matt Chapman recently created a song and sound byte for a recent episode of Sealab 2021 (on Cartoon Network's "Adult Swim"). The voice is the same as the one he used for Larry of Limozeen. Matt is credited on this page (in the Mp3's section): http://www.adultswim.com/misc/downloads/index.html

The Burning Horizon Quote

Does anybody know where I can get this now? I used to have it, but after my hard drive exploded, the quote had already been taken off the Videlectrix site. --TheNintenGenius 10:05, 24 Jan 2005 (MST)

I got it... let me upload it in a bit, but don't think it'll be a permanent server. --Shadow Hog 15:35, 24 Jan 2005 (MST)
Okay, nab it here. --Shadow Hog 15:39, 24 Jan 2005 (MST)
That comcast link has been 404'd. Fortunately, this quote is now on the H*R wiki mirror at the following URL: http://hrwiki.org/mirror/bhz.mp3 —THE PAPER PREEEOW 03:26, 15 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Well I did say it wasn't permanent. ;P --Shadow Hog 03:30, 15 Jun 2005 (UTC)

The Curious Incident of the Paste in the Dessert

This page says Mike fed Matt cupcakes with toothpaste inside them. Marzipan says it was brownies with toothpaste inside them. Someone'd better clear that up. --VolatileChemical 12:19, 8 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Hmm. This source (wired.com) says cupcakes, this source (ajc.com) says brownies. -- Tom 12:30, 8 Jul 2005 (UTC)

(Is the header title a reference to the book The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night?) -thatkidsam

Yes, it is, Sam. Yes it is. --VolatileChemical 16:10, 16 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Stick It in Detroit

Are we sure that the Matt Chapman here is our Matt? IMDB says "Matt Chapman (VII)", but our Matt is listed as Matt Chapman (II)

I don't understand what you mean. IMDb's Matt Chapman (II) is Matt of The Brothers Chaps. -- Tom 23:54, 24 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Swearing?

In the tastes like chicken interview, he says f***. Could he be losing his morals? Strong Sader

That is redicoulous. that was an interview, not on the official site. I have never heard him swear on the site, so he isn't losing his morals. Rogue Leader / (my talk) 20:21, 4 Oct 2005 (UTC)

I agree with Rogue Leader. To me, showing morals isn't not swearing at all. It's knowing when and where it's appropriate. An interview is more or less casual conversation, in which case it's okay. On the site, though, it wouldn't be appropriate. I think the Brothers Chaps are showing MORE morals than most current Flash cartoonists by not resorting to bad language or gratutious violence to make their cartoons funny. --DorianGray

29 or 30?

Tomorrow is 11.1, Matt's B-day. Does he turn 29, or 30? Elcool (talk)(contribs) 15:28, 31 October 2005 (UTC)

According to my amazing mathemetical abilities, E.L., he'll be 29. — THE SMOKING MONKEY 15:43, 31 October 2005 (UTC)
Cool. thanks. And there is no solution in integers for numbers greater then or equal to three. ;) Elcool (talk)(contribs) 15:48, 31 October 2005 (UTC)
