Beastie Boys

Influential rap-rock group Beastie Boys have been referenced throughout the Homestar Runner body of work.
In a 2004 interview, Mike Chapman listed Beastie Boys album Paul's Boutique among his top five.
The Beastie Boys performed at Field Day Festival, an event that included videos of Strong Bad broadcast between sets, in 2003. The band showed footage of Everybody to the Limit at a 2004 concert.

- Pom Pom's Character Video — The page title is "The Most Mackinest", which is a phrase taken from the Beastie Boys' song "Shake Your Rump".
- Email cheatday — Strong Bad's incantation of the "Mike Control" song is rhythmically similar to a section of the Beastie Boys' song "Jimmy James".
- Bug in Mouth Disease — Bubs says that he is "the most quackinest", again referencing "the most mackinest" line from "Shake Your Rump".
- Email technology — Strong Bad's claim to be "kicking [his] new Tech-Kuh-Nowledge" is a reference to the song "The Sounds of Science".
- Email bike thief (DVD commentary) — Strong Bad claims he is "nothin' but a bike thief that must be stopped" which he then attributes to "Beatsie Boys", and states that the title is "Car Thief, in their terms". This song is also from Paul's Boutique.
- Fish Eye Lens — This toon is heavily influenced by the Beastie Boys, who shot many of their music videos and publicity photos with fisheye lenses. One shot in the toon recreates the cover of the album Check Your Head.
- I Killed Pom Pom — Bubs' costume is a reference to the music video content warning for "Sabotage", which was made in the style of the opening credits of a fictional crime drama show. Bubs is dressed as Adam "MCA" Yauch, referred to in the video as actor Nathan Wind playing police officer Cochese.
- Dad's Garage & Friends - 13 Jun 2015 — The last line of Homestar Runner's rap is a reference to "Pass the Mic".
- The Show: Ween Edition — Coach Z dresses up in the Japanese construction worker outfits the band wore in the music video for "Intergalactic".
