Stinkoman and 1-Up's Relationship

"I'm thankful for Pan Pan's epiglottis!"

Stinkoman and 1-Up usually get along rather well. 1-Up seems to idolize Stinkoman but Stinkoman makes fun of him alot, though 1-Up doesn't seem to mind. In this way their relationship mirrors that of their present day counter-parts.

• Email japanese cartoon — Stinkoman laughs at 1-Up after the latter is crushed by Pan Pan.
• Under Construction — Stinkoman calls 1-up and Pan Pan ladies after they missed him fighting Sticklyman.
• Twenty THANXty six — Stinkoman calls 1-up "talking-to-me-extraordinaire" after 1-up points out that "giving thanks" doesn't involve farm equipment.

Stinkoman ignoring/rejecting 1-Up

• Email japanese cartoon — Stinkoman won't let 1-Up be "the guy" too because he thinks 1-Up is just a kid.
• Stinkoman 20X6 — At the start of level 2 Stinkoman ignores 1-Up's concerns that Pan Pan has been kidnapped to challenge whoever put a bone in his chicken soup.

Stinkoman and 1-Up helping each other

• Stinkoman 20X6- In level 4, Stinkoman protects 1-Up with his giant fist power-up, gained from defeating Stlunko. However, this is just to protect his power crunch from being damaged in the Lava Zone. Stinkoman also sets out to rescue 1-up and Pan-Pan from the Shadowy Figure.
• Twenty THANXty Six- 1-Up teaches Stinkoman about how to give thanks.

Stinkoman & 1-Up getting along

• Twenty THANXty Six- 1-Up appears to be helping Stinkoman face the Challenge of the Crystal Shards.
• Email time capsule- 1-Up shows Stinkoman his new wig from Homestar Runner's 'time box'.
• Stinkoman 20X6- 1-Up appears to live in the same place as, or at least visit, Stinkoman.
