In many instances of text on Homestar Runner, Lowercase i's appear several times. This originated with Strong Bad's handwriting; the font used (ahnberghand) has no capital i, so any time Strong Bad needs to write one, it ends up being lowercase. The most famous instance is in dragon, where he labels his drawing TROGDOR the BURNiNATOR. Over time, Strong Bad's handwriting was used more and more, and the lowercase i was seen more frequently. Then at some point it crossed over to other fonts. It soon became evident that The Brothers Chaps decided to make most uppercase i 's lowercase, no matter what font was being used, as an inside joke.
