When Strong Bad talks about the Great Leg and the Leg of Hope, he may be referring to the SNES RPG Secret of Mana. You can upgrade the Great Bow into the Bow of Hope. The leg of hope is also a lyric in the song Add It Up by the Violent Femmes.

Homestar says he will pee his pants, but he (debatably) doesn't wear any.

Homestar said that Strong Sad did twice as many jumping jacks as last year, but Strong Sad only did three.

When Strong Bad says "Ohh, don't touch that!" it sounds exactly like when he says the same thing in virus when Homestar takes the link buttons from the bottom of the page.

The repetition of "man" and "use" could be because both words can be either a noun or a verb.

The machine drilling sound is similar to that of the sun-buzzsaw in Teen Girl Squad Issue 3.

Strong Bad's quote, "And bring some paper towels. Eww. And some tweezers." Is very similar to his message left on Marzipan's answering machine in Where's the Cheat?, when he says, "Bring some towels. (Groans) And some garbage bags."

A ride at Knott's Berry Farm uses the same font as Chocozuma's for its "Montezooma's Revenge" ride.

It's likely that the show Strong Sad is watching in the beginning is "that show on public broadcasting hosted by that British guy" mentioned in morning routine.

In the Flash file for the toon, the sides randomly flash white and blue while Homestar is singing his song.

The grill shown briefly near the end of the cartoon is possibly a reference to The King of Town's Grill, which is where The Cheat lives.

The Poopsmith's Has Matt? uniform is a reference to Matt Chapman.

The end credit photo montage is similar to the one Strong Bad created in montage.

As he drives, Strong Bad hums "The Theme From Dangeresque," which is actually "The theme From The People's Court".

Instead of the music repeating in a movie clip (like most areas on the site), the whole Flash file loops instead. This causes a short gap in the music, and it will also cause all the Easter Eggs to reset.

The image of Strong Sad and the ATM knee-deep in water may be a reference to a scene in the film "Donnie Darko," where a similar image can be seen, and it may also be the experimental film Strong Sad mentions in his commentary.

Plan "g" is a reference to Plan 9 From Outer Space, a movie by Ed Wood well known for being one of the worst movies ever made.

The word Ragile on Cardboard Marzipan is a reference to A Christmas Story. In which the main characters father mistakes the word fragile on a cardboard box with the word ragile, which he believes is Italian.

The cans of WB-46 could also be spoofing The WB Network station call letters, which are usually WB-##. For example, WB-36 (http://wb36.trb.com/) is Atlanta's WB station.

This is another instance of The Cheat's Head Exploding.

Rather than "Loading" this cartoon is "Loafing", a reference to the No Loafing Sign.

The plugs given in reference to Teen Girl Squad may refer to the animé series Sailor Moon, which was revamped for the '90s in North America and had many episodes cut (including two where everybody dies.)

Wedsite may refer to Strong Bad's Website, because one of the .gif images says "World Wide Wed".

The idea of Homsar may not have just originated from bad spelling. There is a noticeable resemblance between Homsar and Homeschool Winner. Homsar may or may not have evolved from this character.

Notice that when you roll over the "Games" link and roll off quickly, Homsar's hat will jump up and then momentarily disappear.

The music played when Strong Mad chases Strong Bad is from Where's The Cheat?.

The Cheat made a Fourth Wall Break by making a Strong Bad Email complete with a loading screen and The Paper.

Strong Bad made a Fourth Wall Break when he said that he wasn't going to answer an email that week.

Monkey D. Luffy is the main character of the animé series One Piece.

Strong Bad's comment, "What?! Back to school already?! It's not even July!" is a reference to how stores sell event-themed products an absurd amount of time in advance of such events.

None of the example magazine ads shown match the ads Strong Bad describes.

The phrase in the colognac ad "we don't really give a care" is a refrence to the e-mail No Loafing where Strong Bad talks about inspirational posters that talk about "determination and giving a care."

Stupid Coincidence Magazine costs $9, the same price as one of those glossy fashion magazines that Strong Bad mentions.

Poachers illegally hunt animals such as elephants for resale and profit.

Homestar was considering breaking into male modeling in crying.

Strong Bad says, "the kinds that have like whales or sunsets or windsurfers on 'em," but does not type the word "like".

Bubs' collections agency letter is sent in retaliation for Strong Bad's collections agency prank in lackey.

The word "vera" from when Senor Cardgage says "vera low prices" actually means "true" in Italian, "genuine" in Greek, and "side" in Spanish.

"I hate this computer" is probably a reference to "I liked that computer" in gimmicks.

The Far Side is the famous one panel comic drawn by Gary Larson.

We find out that Strong Bad was possibly a child of the '70s, since in the video, Coach Z had an afro (a hairdo that was really popular in the '70s).

From watching the video, we learn that Coach Z is older than Strong Bad, since he was an adult when Strong Bad was a kid.

The ladders in level 5.2 look slightly different from those of level 5.1.

The fact that Gaspeau (red) and Frotzer (blue) are almost the same exact enemies may be a reference to the old Zelda games where an enemy could be red or blue and that the blue version of the enemy was always harder.

The 1-Up sprites in Level 4 are slightly different to the ones in Level 5 — they were not reused, as the Stinkoman ones are.

Liekand is also reminiscent of the game Magic Pockets, in which the character's attack is a bouncing tornado that can spit out smaller tornadoes.

Strong Bad trying to convince The Cheat to "come out of retirement" is remisiscent of Danny Ocean trying to convince Saul Bloom to come out of his retirement to help him with his latest robbery in Ocean's Eleven.

Brett Bretterson's name is similar to that of another smart, blond, teenage girl's main squeeze: Nancy Drew's steady boyfriend Ned Nickerson.

The only legible marks in Tomkins's Algebra paper are the number 3 and what appears to be a square root sign. If you zoom in, you can see that the original problem appears to be 3 times the -1st root of (4L^-1) divided by an unintelligible scribble. This can be simplified to 3L / (4 x unintelligible). His answer appears to be some random doodle; it could be anything.

Apparently, the girls are standing next to Mr. Pitters in nearly every episode, you just never see him because he is hidden behind the frame. This is similar to the "Strong Sad, how long have you been standing there?" joke in The Luau, and Homestar's claim that he is in every SB Email but is hidden behind the black in flashback.

Strong Bad is unaware that Babbage's stores do not tend to stock obsolete game consoles such as TurboGrafx 16. They generally do not inventory anything prior to PlayStation.

Generally speaking, American teenagers get a driver's license at about sixteen years of age. Given the fact that she's had a driver's license for a year, it appears that What's Her Face is at least seventeen years old.

Strong Bad needing a ride to Babbages is an oblique reference to car, where he admitted he doesn't have a car.

The name "Double Deuce" may be a reference to the film Road House. In the movie, Patrick Swayze stars as the head bouncer at the "Double Deuce Club".

Strong Mad attempted almost the same prank greeting as in this toon on Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 4.

In Strong Bad's marshmallow roast, he was seen with 16 name tags. Yet, at the time, only 11 characters existed, and even if Homsar did, there would still be too many. Also, Strong Sad and Marzipan were at the luau, and the KOT was uninvited, so only eight tags were used, (Unless someone wasn't wearing one).

David Bowie is a famous English rock artist whose career has spanned from the '60s to the present. Tin Machine was a four-piece rock band he formed from 1989 to 1992. Ziggy Stardust was an androgynous character David Bowie invented and performed as for his classic 1972 album, Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. Thy Dungeonman rejects the "Tin Machine era" when David Bowie dressed in suits with a mustache and beard and prefers the Ziggy Stardust persona, who wore wild, Japan-influenced outfits and the wild red hair which Strong Sad wears in Halloween Fairstival.

The turtle featured in the newspaper clipping is the same one used in new hands.

This is one of the few instances where you can actually understand one of The Cheat's words. He says "hello" when we see him filing unused email into the three stacks.

This is the first time we see Strong Bad with CDs. However, his computer probably doesn't have a drive capable of burning CDs.

When Strong Bad pours the Cold One on the carpet at the end, it is a reference to the modern gangsta practice of pouring out a 40-ounce beer "for my dead homies."
