It would seem that this article was created solely to make a point. Please be careful. On Wikipedia, they devote [[Wikipedia:Wikipedia:Don't disrupt Wikipedia to illustrate a point|an entire guideline page]] to the topic. I'm not saying this was right or wrong. (That, of course, would be up to the community to decide over time and through discussion.) I just wanted to bring an alternative viewpoint to everyone's attention. Thanks.[[User:Tom|<nowiki></nowiki>]] -- [[User:Tom|Tom]] 17:53, 24 Sep 2005 (UTC) | It would seem that this article was created solely to make a point. Please be careful. So minor an item that it's not even funny. --—Gafaddict (Talk | Contribs.) 16:23, 24 Sep 2005 (UTC)
- I knew it! As befits my easy-going nature, I don't really care if this is deleted. But I made the page because I think it's hilarious. Come on, watching Strong Mad angrily eat pasta salad? It's priceless! Plus, it's a food and/or drink. It gets its own easter egg. It's even referred to by Strong Bad and gets its own special caper!
- Compare this to Piemonade. Why don't we delete piemonade, as well? It only appears in one cartoon. No one eats it. No one drinks it. But it's funnier, right? It's not pasta salad's fault it's not inherently funny.
- I gots that special feeling that this will be deleted, but give the salad a break! THE SMOKING MONKEY 16:42, 24 Sep 2005 (UTC)
- Dude, you realize at least half of the "Food and Drink" items are pretty minor, right? Were you even aware of the category before I added the pasta salad article? THE SMOKING MONKEY 16:51, 24 Sep 2005 (UTC)
- I was aware of the category, yes. Your statement, though, has no impact on my idea. We'll just merge what is estimated to be half of the articles into the one big article. —Gafaddict

- Which statement? I asked two questions. Regardless, you're proposing to take all the "one-off" food and drink items and put them on a page similar to the KoT's foodstuff page? THE SMOKING MONKEY 17:01, 24 Sep 2005 (UTC)

I'm against the all-in-one food page. All the King of Town food are connected: He eats them. But to make a page about totaly random food stuffs is just pushing it. I don't see whats wrong in a few short pages ones in a while. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 17:24, 24 Sep 2005 (UTC)
- I'm not going top say keep or not, but it does actually have more than one sentence, which makes it better from many other pages similar to this one.

I don't think we need a minor food page. I looked over a lot of the pages, and there's enough info on most of them to make a whole article. True, they're short articles, but they wouldn't fit well into a table. I think the remainder should keep their own pages, because we already have a collection of food items right here. — It's dot com 17:35, 24 Sep 2005 (UTC)
Making a point
It would seem that this article was created solely to make a point. Please be careful. On Wikipedia, they devote an entire guideline page to the topic. I'm not saying this was right or wrong. (That, of course, would be up to the community to decide over time and through discussion.) I just wanted to bring an alternative viewpoint to everyone's attention. Thanks. -- Tom 17:53, 24 Sep 2005 (UTC)
